From start to finish, it was a blast. suiting up was so much fun and we were able to blast our music! great spot for a birthday

This was fun place to break and smash things. Enough space and time for people to break what they want and even play the music they want on their phone. You'll have protective gear ready for you to wear so no one gets hurt. The staff are friendly, and guide you to what you need to do and where to go. If you want additional things to break, it'll cost extra.

    End of the rage session!

This place was good. I went w one of my friends and we slotted a 30 minute reservation. When you get there you check in, fill out the safety form & then gear up. You wear disposable gloves, outer gloves & a shoeless bodysuit. Please no open toe shoes!!! They had a speaker connection in the room, it wasn't that loud but it didn't seem like the noises from the surrounding rooms bled through. I enjoyed it. Rage was felt & released.

It was a really fun and needed activity for a friend of mine to do. It was so hot in both the room and the lobby, it was very uncomfortable. I paid for a 2 person package for 120, but I'd recommend going the cheapest way, because we smashed everything in less than 3 mins. So don't pay for 30 mins, it's a waste. I'd go back maybe, but def gonna look for different spots.

The price is not worth it... there were 5 of us. Our room had10-15 small plates 1 printer 1 monitor 3 keyboards And we paid for an extra 10 plates I feel like we were robbed.... Brought my Godson as a birthday gift.... The Break Bar was so much better. The staff were not hyped they were quiet. The protection given were cheap for the price paid. My godson was a bit underwhelmed but we made the best of it. but I wouldn't visit again. To purchase extra pieces were pretty pricey and they had huge cardboard bins filled with old telephones, computers and other devices..... they could have given us a few more items then it's would have been worth the price and time

Who would've guessed smashing things could be so satisfying and probably more therapeutic than yoga?! Not me Came across this place on a list of 'things to do when in NYC', and it caught my eye big time. Made an appointment and was able to snag a slot on the same day. On entering they make you sign waivers, ask you to suit up and brief you about things you can/can't do. We got the 'trouble makers' pack. It comes with ten plates, one premium electronic (printer in our case) and one smaller electronic (a keyboard for us) to unleash your fury on. Inside the rage room, there's like a bunch of baseballs bats and crowbars to rain down on above mentioned items. They also have an aux cable to put on some hype music and a phone holster to make videos with. It is super intensive and we were sweating badly at the end of the carnage, but it was worth it. I cannot emphasize enough how cathartic it was and I highly recommend trying it out. 10/10 would go back again!

I let my frustrations out in a good way and felt great after. Crazy location but it's worth it just for some fun with a friend or friends.

Had to cancel due to the flu and was charged a 40% cancellation fee even though my illness is out of my control.

Overall a good time smashing things with friends. There was even an option to put on my own music while we smash stuff.

The experience was beyond disappointing and honestly unacceptable. The staff was completely…read moreinattentive and offered little to no instruction or guidance from the moment we arrived. We were simply told that we could not throw the larger items, only the cups, and then left to figure everything else out on our own. To make matters worse, we paid extra for the "360 video experience," only to find out it was nothing more than our own phone being placed on their device -- something that was never properly explained beforehand. Charging customers extra for that is extremely misleading. What was most frustrating was the complete lack of care and professionalism from the two staff members working. After sitting around for an extended period with no communication, we literally had to go out and ask whether our session was even over. That level of disinterest and poor customer service was obvious the entire time. My family and I came here to celebrate a birthday, and instead we left frustrated and disappointed. Spending nearly $300 for this level of service was a complete waste of money. I would absolutely not recommend this place to anyone.

I'd been curious about rage rooms for a while, and after stumbling upon The Ragery while walking my…read moredog, I finally decided to check it out with a friend. We went for the $200 room, which came with one large item, one medium, one small, and a variety of plates and cups to smash. The process starts with signing waivers, storing your stuff in a locker, and suiting up with a helmet (with a face guard), gloves, and a thin jumpsuit. They also give you a wireless speaker so you can blast your own music while you rage which adds a fun personal touch. Inside the room, the rules are pretty straightforward: don't break the walls, don't hit each other, and keep communicating. You get a choice of "weapons" including bats, pipes, crowbars, a skateboard, and hammers. For about 30 minutes, we were on our own with plenty of room to let off steam and smash things to our hearts' content. Was it fun? Absolutely. Smashing stuff is as therapeutic as you'd hope. Was it worth $200? That's a tougher call. It felt a bit steep for what you get, but the experience did match what was advertised. I imagine you could find similar rooms for less money outside of Manhattan, but this is New York; just about everything is pricier here, even breaking stuff. Overall, I had a blast, but if you're on a budget, keep in mind that the cost is definitely part of the thrill in this city.
