This is an amazing space for kids to let off steam, and a great option for birthday parties or summer camps! We have been here more than 5 times and each time it was an awesome experience. There are things to do for varying abilities. The bathrooms are clean. The only problems I have with the facilities are the foam block pit at the back, and the size of the party rooms. The foam block pit is "hidden" at the very back of the space and the foam blocks are very worn and honestly need to be replaced! I always sneeze when I get to that area. The party rooms are also quite small (narrow), most parents just stand against the wall during parties and cannot move. There's a cafe area with food and drinks if you are spending more time there, which is convenient. The food options aren't the healthiest but are very popular with kids. read more

Came here with my 2 year old daughter and did not know what was coming until I stepped inside. Bought a 2 hour deal from Groupon and did not realize until I saw the pamphlet that Ferox Ninja Park is good for 4 year olds and above so I was like damn. I mean I bought the tickets already so I gave the park a try. It turned out the obstacles were very challenging and tough especially if you don't have the core and stamina. I am very overweight and the monkey bars were just impossible. Make sure you have the strength and core before you come here or else it's not worth the price. The only worthwhile challenge is the trampoline where it was fun for my daughter. You needed to wear the grip socks though in order to prevent slipping. It was pretty fun until the trampolines got crowded later on in the day so it was tough to get a single trampoline for yourself. There is a kitchen too that sells bites and snacks like chicken fingers, fries, pizza, nachos, popcorn, and many more snacks. Bathrooms there got a metal turnstile to get into, which I thought was weird. There was a door though and it was opened for everyone to get through. There is a section next to the bathrooms for young kids but it was closed off the day I went to Ferox Ninja Park. read more

Before booking, I called to confirm the number of children and adults who would be attending to ensure the space would comfortably accommodate our party. When we arrived, we discovered our party room was at the top of a steep flight of stairs and was essentially a plexiglass enclosure with very little ventilation. After setting up, I mentioned to the staff that the room was extremely hot and had an unpleasant odor. The temperature quickly became uncomfortable--guests were sweating while simply sitting in their chairs. I was told the smell was "from the kids" and that there wasn't really anything they could do about it. After some time, staff brought in an industrial fan, which provided only minimal relief. Because it took a while for the fan to arrive, we opened the doors between our room and the adjacent party room after confirming with the party attendant that the neighboring party had ended and no one else would be using the space. The adjoining room was significantly larger, had proper ventilation, and was much cooler. The fan was positioned in the doorway between the two rooms by the staff. The party attendant was absent for most of the event. They briefly returned to set up pizza for the children and then disappeared again. Since our assigned room was both overcrowded and uncomfortably hot, many of the adults naturally moved into the adjoining room while the children remained in the gym. During lunch, a basketball suddenly flew over the top of the plexiglass wall--which does not extend to the ceiling--and struck my 3-year-old niece directly in the face. The ball came in with enough force that it was alarming. I immediately went to the front desk to ask for a manager because I wanted assurance that staff would better supervise the gym to prevent it from happening again. To the manager's credit, they first checked to make sure my niece was okay. However, the conversation quickly shifted to questioning why we were using tables in the adjoining room instead of addressing how a basketball was able to enter the party space in the first place. Later, my son told me that another child had been repeatedly punting basketballs high enough to clear the plexiglass barrier for quite some time. If that was happening repeatedly, it points to a lack of supervision rather than an isolated accident. After lunch, the children returned to the gym. While I was still dealing with the basketball incident, I expected the party attendant to help manage the remainder of the party, including clearing food, setting up dessert, and coordinating cake. Instead, no staff member returned. My friends and I cleared the tables, cleaned up the food, set out dessert ourselves, and I ultimately had to go to the front desk to ask them to make an announcement for the children to return for cake and Happy Birthday. Unfortunately, there was another safety incident while we were cleaning up. A guest accidentally brushed against the industrial fan that had been brought into the room and suffered a cut on their leg from it. Overall, I would never host another party at Ferox. The assigned party room was hot, poorly ventilated, had an unpleasant odor, and was too small for the number of guests I had specifically confirmed before booking. Staff support throughout the event was minimal, and when a serious safety concern arose, the focus became where we were sitting rather than addressing the supervision issues that allowed the incident to happen. To end the experience, another staff member asked how everything had gone. After I shared my feedback, I was told that I "shouldn't have booked the Supreme party" because the rooms included with the basic package are much better. That response was particularly disappointing. If the premium party package includes an inferior room, that should be disclosed upfront--not explained after guests have endured an uncomfortable and unsafe experience. read more

Unfortunately, our experience hosting a birthday party at Ferox fell far short of expectations. Communication before the event was poor, and it was very difficult to reach anyone. The party room was much smaller than advertised, and both the room and play area were uncomfortably hot. Watching children run and play in those conditions was a genuine safety concern. The staff working that day were kind and tried to help, but they had limited ability to fix the problem. To make matters worse, I emailed management after the event to share my concerns and never received a response. I absolutely love this place and it lived up to the hype. I came on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't overly crowded. The venue is nicely organized for the kids activities to be on one side and the more difficult ninja activities be on the other side. There's something for everyone. I particularly enjoyed the zip line and some of the other ninja challenges. When we first arrived we were given our wrist band and trampoline socks and explored the facilities on our own-- and this place is actually huge. More stuff for bigger kids/ adults way in the back. I went and inside felt like America's Ninja Warrior. I watched people from the outside, and it looked like fun. I found out on Fridays that they have Adult Night people who are 18+ from 8-11pm for $29. It's a good deal as you have the entire place to yourselves without younger kids roaming around disturbing the peace. They do have live music by a deejay playing as well. There's food being served, but you can't bring that inside where you climb. There is a waiver that you must sign in advance. You can probably look around without a bracelet and just a by stander, but they will probably check to see that you're not using their facilities. Overall, it'll be a fun place to check out with a group of friends as a challenge. read more

Ferox is the spot if you want to feel like a kid again. My crew of grown adults hit up this Greenpoint playground for a friend's birthday and no one in our group was below the age of 30. We rolled in thinking we'd crush it like we were 10-year-olds on the monkey bars. Scaling ladders? Easy. Dunking balls in the basketball games? No problem. We were so busy patting ourselves on the back that we didn't even realize we were still in the kids section. Once we leveled up to the adult courses, that's when the real challenges began. Suddenly those ropes felt like they were made for actual monkeys and the balance beams were the stuff of tightrope walker nightmares. As unathletic adults in our 30s, we had a lot of fun! Got a Groupon for two hour open play. Take was a good amount of time for us to enjoy our time there then get hungry After redeeming our Groupon on the website, check-in was just a quick scan of the QR code that was emailed to us If you want to do the trampoline section, you have to have grippy socks. You can bring your own or purchase them here. We didn't go on the trampolines. There were a lot of small children jumping. When you first enter, the easier section was packed with kids. While you're here and announcement for a party to go to a room because the pizza is ready. That is your time to go to the easy section because most of the kids will clear out. The harder sections were fun to attempt. We also met the designer of the courses. He was so kind to give us tips on some of the courses. His encouragement helped push two of the people in our group complete one of the courses they did not think they could. Thank you for enhancing our experience! Parking is tough in the area. My view may be skewed since we just went to another party at Urban Air which was way bigger, had better service and more activities for kids to do. This might be good if you're ninja training, but I don't think its great for a bunch of little kids. This place has way too much going on. Firstly, adults (without children) and children, being able to "play" in the same area is so sketchy. Way too many areas kids can disappear off to which is alarming. Secondly, The place is dirty, front desk staff are rude (Michelle specifically), and there is absolutely no staff up keeping the place during play, nor is there an limit on how many people they let in. We love Ferox. Our son loves ninja warrior and so Ferox is a great place for him to live out his ninja dreams. They have great obstacles that cater to all different levels. My only complaint is that there are often toddlers and little kids running around on the mats unsupervised which creates a potentially dangerous situation. It used to be that you had to be at least 10 to enter the ninja area but unfortunately, it doesn't seem like that is a policy any longer. I wish there was a dedicated time for more serious ninja athletes to practice w/o interference. read more

Came here with a group of friends for "adult fun night" on a Friday night which was perfect because it was 21+ with a live DJ. This place is HUGE and have so many obstacles, some wayyy harder than others, but it was fun getting to try new things and living out the American Ninja Warrior dream. There were some coaches scattered and guiding people on how to do some of the courses better and there were snacks and drinks available to buy. Had my daughters birthday party here today and this place is terrible. The pizza was $20 a pie and is literally frozen pizza that is cooked in a microwave, and put into a pizza box to make it appear its from a pizza shop. It's equal to the pizza from 7-11 that they sell for $5 if you ever had that. The soda which was told to use to be a big pitcher of soda, was really a 32 ounce fountain cup of soda, and was sold for $6. So they're literally making $12 for a 2-litre bottle of soda. And the bottled water is $3/bottle, and you can guess what that is. That's right, the Poland spring 40-pack special. Nothing like making $120 off a $8 case of water. Total party was about $1,100 which was just for two hours for 10 kids. It would had been much better to just buy a 2-hour pass for each of the 10 kids for a total of $375, and then go across the street to the pizza shop and get real pizza. Would have ended up costing 1/2 the price! Doing this would have given the kids the full two hours of play-time, rather than 1 hour 15 mins of play-time, and 45 mins of pizza/cake time too. The kids did have fun, but the party packages are a complete rip-off. If you want to have your kids birthday party here, don't get the party package. Just pay for the kids to come and go across the street to the pizza shop afterwards. This way you'll have twice more time for fun, and have much better pizza, for half the price. read more

Today I had a bad experience. I had an extremely unpleasant experience at Ferox Athletics due to their condescending and disrespectful counter clerk. When I simply asked for his attention, he threatened to throw me out. His lack of professionalism and courtesy was shocking, and it left me with a terrible impression of the establishment. We have been coming here since their inauguration. Usually not the norm. However, I'm still glad for the success Ferox Athletics has achieved and wish them success in the future. I hope they don't start taking customers for granted. After all we are paying a premium. read more

They've since revised their staff to be sure people there are treating customers how they deserve to be treated and I was asked to give them another chance for our fifth grade graduation trip. My daughter was badly hit in the head by a basketball that an employee carelessly shot into a basketball hoop while he was playing on duty. He threw even while she was directly underneath and after she was hit he didn't even apologize or appear concerned. We emailed Ferox to complain about the incident and even included a photo and they couldn't be bothered to respond. Don't take your kids there. In particular the employee Steve, he was being rude calling some kids ugly, being racist, telling the Asian students to open their eyes. A person like that should not be working with children and families. Maybe put Steve in the back cleaning up instead of working with the customers.
