My mom used these guys and had the worst experience ever. They originally were fine with us using a credit card, but after putting our stuff in their trailer, they told us we had to pay in cash. At this point it was 10pm, banks were closed and the amount we owed was greater than what you can withdraw at an ATM.... So they took our possessions for the night until we could come in the next morning with the cash. But wait it gets worse... because after all that we realized they had taken several of our belongings. Terry was a jerk about the whole situation and put his workers in a terrible position. You're better off going with someone else. read more

Best service I've ever seen from any moving company thanks to Dustin and Jordan great job you two!

Gerald and Jordan did excellent work. second time using this moving company and they came ready to work. Will use there services again.

Andy and Jared were the ultimate moving team. Smart, efficient, very open to quality communication, and determined to do an excellent job. The Colorado Boys know what they're doing, and they're passionate about their work. They are, hands down, the best team of movers I've ever hired and I would, without hesitation, hire them again. They are personable and friendly on top of everything else, with great attitudes. Every piece of furniture and every box was handled with care. They assisted us with making sure that everything was packed and sealed how it needed to be for the best, safest result, and then they went above and beyond even to provide a smooth moving experience. No negatives at all, no complaints, and we will be hiring them again. read more

Attention to detail was non existent. They need to have more experienced movers that know what they are doing, at least on my job. They had one job and one job only to move a 2 year old SS refrigerator from point A to point B and managed to drop it in the parking lot off their ramp while loading it on the truck. Yes, they reimbursed me for the broken parts that I had to install, but no telling what permanent damage was done to the electronics. read more

Our experience with the guys at Apache Movers was mixed. They were given an itemized list before the move and we were quoted a price. When they showed up, one of the movers was not only NOT wearing a mask, but I had to give him one! We were told that everyone wore masks and were Covid-safe. Then, we had to walk with them through every room of both buildings and review the list, which meant I had to stand in very close proximity to Jason (the guy in charge) on and off for about 20 minutes. The list was incorrect and things were added and taken off as we did that and a revised price was given. Before they entered the house, they had asked my partner if they could move without masks and he said no. (We are both over 60 and I have neuro Lyme disease so we take extra precautions). Apparently Jason wasn't happy about it and mumbled some unprofessional stuff under his breath. Then he asked me. I said they could work maskless which meant my partner and I had to wait outside in the car for the entire move, which we did. 5 1/2 hours! They did do an excellent job of wrapping up the little furniture we have and moving all of the boxes. They did a good job of moving a few things into our leased home. And they did a great job moving the rest into storage. I felt the price was high but with two stops and a trip to and from Austin, I guess they charge more. So, to summarize, it was a good move except for three things that would make me think twice about hiring them again, especially during a pandemic!! Jason's initial behavior, which was unprofessional (especially during a pandemic but not cool at any time), the fact that one of their movers came without a mask (totally unacceptable, especially after being told there were Covid protocols in place), and the fact that the list we had sent them was not properly noted on the moving list making it necessary for me to stand close to Jason and try to point out what WAS on the list. read more

Outstanding. Pleasure was all mine when these guys moved me from Georgetown to Conroe on 05/17/22. Showed up early and handled everything with care. No damages and one happy customer. Guys you were great and will use the Apache team forever. Thank you, Rob & Don read more

I really appreciate Joey who was my first point of contact and helped me issues I had on my end with my move. The new place I was moving to didn't inform me that they wouldn't be able to give me my keys until 1 pm when originally thought I could receive them in the morning. I called in last minute and Joey was able to reschedule my move only a couple of days before I had to move. The movers I had Caleb and Chris were amazing! They worked hard the entire time and were very polite. They never complained while working in 100+ degree weather while taking heavy items up three flights of stairs. read more

Why not 5 Stars - it was a mixed bag - read on dear reader... Needed to move - so i went to Yelp to see what they could do - Apache was one of the first to respond with a quote (I was 6 weeks out from move date) Good - REALLY nice reponsive and attentive Bad - didnt send quote originally; had to call back (not a big deal - bad email address) Good - Two days before move - called to confirm time and date Bad - Showed up 45 minutes late (they called/mechanical issue - not a big deal) GREAT - Donavynn (yes i mispelled) and Fernando - loaded the trailer freakishly fast (sorry Jimmy Johns) Good - They mentioned a broken part when loading (we knew/forgot about that) Bad - broke a door on the entertainment console (they prolly knew it but didnt mention - not a big deal) MEH?? - There were some extra parts to our bed left after they put it together - I dont know if they were ALWAYS extra, or just extra now - never got a explanation.. All in all - a solid four star experience - for the price and experience, I would use again. read more

Good service and lead man, Bryan? was great. Only problem I had was a loose board on my heavy wardrobe cabinet, which I can fix with another little nail. They did a great job carrying down about 7 heavy cabinets (wall units and bedroom furniture) from a second story condo in Austin to move into a house in Round Rock 20 miles away. Done in 4 hours, which was the exact estimate from the Apache office. read more

It was honestly a lifesaver hiring the guys at Apache Moving! The wonderful lady on the phone (I wish I remembered her name) gave me a quote and set me up with an appointment for the next day and they arrived well within my estimated time range, Adam and Jared worked professionally and efficiently and they took care of everything I needed and more! Placed it all at my destination and went on their way! I will definitely be calling ya'll on my next move! read more

Jordan and Dustin were great! I was hoping to keep it right at two hours and they were super efficient, friendly, and did a great job making this process easy. I've used Apache for my last 3-4 moves (lost count!) and they never fail :) read more

I used Apache Moving services for my move from Austin to Houston recently and they were amazing! Jared, Michael, and Chris were super nice when they arrived and made sure to handle my furniture/boxes with care. I even got stuck in some traffic on my way to Houston and they were so understanding and worked with me to make sure my move was as seamless as possible. I would definitely recommend using Apache for your moving needs! read more

Needed a quick turnaround on a move from Austin to East Texas. Apache called me and worked diligently on a quote on Saturday and had a crew of 3 awesome guys at the site by Monday morning. These guys went out of their way to take care of our things like it was their own stuff. They were quick, professional, and took care of us. They are not cheap but they were more than fair and flexible. read more

Fantastic staff, great energy, even through a challenging move. Do ensure you list every single piece of unboxable items if you choose a day rate (rather than per hour). I highly recommended!! read more

Do not use this company. We had a fairly simple office move. They damaged a desk, rendering it unusable. More egregiously, one of the guys did not wear a mask. His only response was "my bad." Yes. Very bad. WE ARE IN A PANDEMIC. They were on time and friendly enough, but I truly regret hiring this company. read more

I've known him since 20 2014. They've always been very professional, hard workers unfortunately, this time they were not available and I lost all my furniture not due to them, but due to the incompetence of another moving company in and out. Chase read more

Jayvion, the team lead on this move, did a phenomenal job on my move. Dean, who worked with him, also was outstanding. They were efficient, very careful to not damage my belongings, and courteous. I would say that Apache may not be the cheapest moving company out there. That being said, they are well worth the price and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future. Very professional, timely, and I have no complaints whatsoever! read more

Great experience. Very efficient and professional. Great communication from start to finish!

Second worse moving company and all my years of moving interstate and out-of-state even out of the country. Broke things, smashed items, they had no consideration for me or my property. I'm sure they will write back and say they have no idea who I am or they did not do these things, but I have images from the damage and how they packed my things into their van and into my storage unit-- so unprofessional, disrespectful, and careless. read more

Gerald & Jordan were AMAZING!! I moved form a 3rd floor unit to another 3rd floor unit and had a very heavy Queen size sleeper sofa to get through a narrow doorway. It took multiple tries, but they never gave up, even after I gave up. They got it in!! They were both very professional and kind. I will be requesting them again for my next move. 10/10 read more

So bad it felt like a joke - avoid these guys at all costs - The movers were unprofessional: they acted like they didn't know what the job was and constantly asked us questions, took breaks and the move slid into the late night - Boxed our possessions horrendously: many of my wife's shoes were scuffed and her nice dresses were balled up at the bottom of a box even though we paid for hanging boxes, many items errantly thrown in unassociated boxes, some boxes hardly even filled - They didn't even bother to finish the job: two SUVs full of items were left behind at the house we moved out of (I spent the whole next day cleaning up after them) - Bad attitude from the owner: after airing these complaints, he aggressively suggested I was in the wrong Wish I would have paid more and gone with a more reputable group...don't make the same mistake we did! read more

We used Apache Moving last time and it was excellent! So we decided to book with them again this time and it was a bit upsetting because we were confirmed pick up between 12 noon to 1pm and they did not show up on those scheduled times. We called and were told new time is at 2:30pm and they finally arrived at 3:30!! They wasted 3 hours of our time waiting and not gonna lie it ruined our schedule and plans that afternoon. They did not even bother to contact us to let us know about the delays. Luckily Jordan and Gerald, our movers are efficient and fast enough to move our stuff, I know it's not their fault but we would really appreciate it if the office or someone from Apache gave us heads up about the delay. read more

All they had to say was they couldn't do the move in the first place and that would have been fine. Instead they stacked up work on some poor dudes who ended up arriving an hour late past their 3 hour window (6PM) and took 3.5 hours to pack a portion of our stuff until we called it because it was almost 10pm and we hadn't even started to travel to our final destination. Only reason they're getting 2 stars instead of 1 is because the workers were extremely polite, especially for having to move furniture at 11PM on a Friday night. We spent the next day moving the rest of our stuff by ourselves read more

Thank you for praying for me after you called me a liar and that you groveled before me. What an example of excellence you are, you really turned the other cheek by... calling me a liar and not even offering to ask me the issue privately. It's almost like, uhh you're rude to your customers because you provide largely one time services and most people really honestly truly don't want problems. Not because of aggressive businesses such as this one, but because a little thing called empathy. read more

I called them over a week ago, sent documentation per their request and they said they would get back with me very soon with a quote. I told them the house was damaged in a storm and we had structural engineer complete a report that the house was structurally sound. I waited about a week and called them back inquiring as to why they did not return my call. The person Nat said his boss said they might not be able to do the move until their insurance company said it was okay. Why not return my call to tell me this information? I wasted my time on this company and they were not responsive. read more

We have moved 14 times in 40 years of marriage so we are experts at moving. In the last eight years here in Austin we've moved four times and always used Apache. Terry and his crew are professionals, respectful and do a great job at moving your possessions from point A to point B without damaging them. And their price is very competitive. FYI Our son just moved back home here from Denver and he used them as well to unload the truck. Once again excellent service and professionalism. Only people we will use. read more

What a joke! Do not hire these movers they are total AMATEURS! After breaking my washer (worth $700), my nightstand (worth $100) and damaging the feet of my drawers (worth $300), they are only offering me a $140 compensation?! UNBELIEVABLE! Why should I be the one paying to replace my damaged furnitures when you obviously did such a POOR JOB at SAFELY PACKING my furnitures?! read more

The guys showed up on time and started packing promptly. After all the boxes were done, one guy came up to me and asked if I had a tool kit to dis-assemble the bed and L-shaped Computer desk. He said they didn't get one. Since my tool kit was already packed in boxes , I couldn't find it. He said they'll figure something out and started to move my computer desk without dis-assembling it. In the process of getting it out of the room, they damaged the table by hitting it to the door (attached the picture). At this point, I decided to get the tool kit from my friends place and left. By the time I came back, they loaded our bed on the truck as is without dis-assembling it. With the tool kit I got, they started removing the bolts of the table and in the process they broke it (attached picture). When unloading the queen bed, I suggested they do it piece by piece since its a new house and I don't want any scratches on the walls. They didn't take my suggestion and went ahead to put the bed in the room as is. Half way through they realised it won't fit and started unscrewing it in a vertical position (which is not ideal for any bed) . The way they handled it made me think that there is nothing professional about it. Tl;dr -- my 2 cents, I don't recommend them to anyone. read more

The movers did a good job of moving my items from a storage unit to two separate locations. My only complaint is that when I called the office on the morning of the move to confirm what time the driver/movers would arrive because I hadn't heard anything from them, I was told that the scheduled driver was a no-show, so they had to find a new driver. I called back several times for updates. Thankfully they did find a new driver, but the move was pushed back from the originally scheduled window by almost two hours. I would just recommend that they get in front of issues like this by being the one to reach out and over-communicate when a problem like this arises. read more

We had Magic and Harper help us with the moving in Austin. It was a flat rate option that was suggested by the Joseph during estimate and glad that we chose that. It took 12hrs in total and we payed way less than the hourly rate. Both Magic and Harper did an awesome service. Would not hesitate to refer apache moving service in Round rock. read more

I received several quotes for moving my one bedroom apartment and and Apache came in with about the same quote as everybody else. I went over everything with the scheduler and told him what my large furniture items were and asked if they would help break my furniture items down (like my bedframe), and that my new place is on the 3rd story. They charge by the hour with a 2 hour minimum, and I also asked if he expected it to take much more than the 2 hours. He said he didn't think so but that they would prorate it every 30 minutes after the first 2 hours. So the morning of, these two guys show up at 9am. They tell me it will probably take about 5 hours. I tell them what the scheduler told me about the time and basically, we just agreed we'd do the best we could to knock it out. Although I specifically had asked about having the furniture taken apart beforehand, they apparently didn't have any tools with them. I provided the necessary tool for the headboard removal (a basic Alan wrench), and he fiddled around with one screw for a while before declaring he couldn't do it. I later removed the headboard with the same Alan wrench in less than 10 minutes. Then I had to get someone to help me haul the headboard and frame separately later on. It was a nightmare to move and I'm not a big girl so I had really hoped they would move it for me. (Luckily, a kind neighbor saw me and my friend struggling with it on the stairs and jumped in to help.) At the new place, the guys acted totally surprised to see how many stairs there were. It's 3 stories but there's an additional little 3 step thing at the bottom that he told me was a 4th flight. It was paid hourly, so I'm not sure why it mattered, but he made a big deal about those 3 steps being an extra flight of stairs. After the very first haul up, this one guy is standing my in living room with his hands on his knees, panting rather dramatically and telling me he's sick. I wanted to say he shouldn't be here touching all my stuff if he's sick but it was too late at that point, so I said nothing. This same guy kept taking breaks and telling me rather dramatically how tired he was and kept asking if I had weights in the boxes. I pointed to my set of dumbells that were unboxed and which I had hauled myself in my car and carried up myself. With this guy taking breaks and acting so exhausted (I was the first stop in the morning by the way), I wanted to move it along since it was hourly, so I helped unload the truck and haul things up. The whole time. This guy kept taking breaks and saying, "don't worry, I'll take 30 minutes off your time for my break." Right about noon, they got the last dolly full of boxes up. He said "I'm gonna stop your time now," acting like he was doing me some big favor, but I was thinking, "Well, that's good considering we're done!" I gave him my card and a cash tip and he called the office and gave them my credit card. It was for the full 3 hours. There was no 30-minute deduction. Several dishes that were in boxes labeled Fragile were broken. They didn't really ask where I wanted anything except one item, which they did not put where I told them to, so now I have to struggle to move all this furniture around by myself. Of the two movers, one guy was really sweet and didn't complain the whole time. The other guy complained the entire time and kept promising me 30 minutes off when he was taking breaks and I was helping unload the truck. It's unfortunate that this one guy soured the whole experience because everyone else in the company did well. The scheduling was very communicative and the other mover was professional. But in the end it's entirely unprofessional for this guy to act like that and let me be unloading the truck while he takes breaks and then get charged for the whole thing. Highly unimpressive. read more

After reaching out to a few different moving companies, I decided to move forward with Apache (partially due to a positive word of mouth review from a colleague). They were quick to give a fair quote and easy to get ahold of. They were a bit late on moving day, but the extra time was actually useful for us and some last minute to-do's. The guys, Jared and Mike L., were great. They got right to work and were quick with the move. They were patient with me when I realized I left some screws at the old place (luckily not far from the new one). The guys were super friendly and made my move comfortable and easy. I really appreciated the hard work and friendliness with the heat and humidity that can get anyone down. read more
