My heat went out in late October just as the temperature was dropping. I was referred to Any Temp and arranged an appointment on Nov. 2. Angel G. confirmed an appointment time via text. I was given a survey of the system with options, eventually choosing to repair the furnace. The quote was reasonable. During the course of repair, another component had to be replaced and the part was available in Angel's truck. He showed me various readings and indicated why the additional component was needed. The part cost was nominal and the whole system works fine now. Angel's work was excellent and I would highly recommend Any Temp (and Angel) for any future service. Roger L. read more

Nicor came out as we smelled gas. It was pin pointed to the gas control valve on the water heater. I called Any Temp after finding them on Yelp and they sent a tech out the very next morning. Antonio was there at 8am sharp. He first inspected the water heater to make sure there were no other leaks and if it can be salvaged with repair. They did not push me to buy anything. I decided to replace the water heater as it was 13 years old. Any Temp provided a great price and Antonio had it hooked up and working fast. Any Temp provided great service and Antonio was a great Tech. We will be using their service to replace our furnace as well! read more

Angel was AMAZING! Hard to find an honest and knowledgeable contractor. Angel was professional, and explained his diagnosis and pricing. Pricing was reasonable as well. I will definitely call Any Temp again and request Angel - he's the BEST!! read more

Had some intermittent furnace issues that had finally come to a head with the furnace stopping working during a bad cold spell. I feel like Im pretty in touch with furnace basics (e.g., replacing the filters, checking air and condensate flow, cleaning the flame sensors, know about overheat and pressure switches), but I couldn't figure out what the issue was. On a Saturday, Vedran responded quickly to my yelp message, and technician Antonio came out. Antonio worked through all the components and quickly diagnosed the issue, some PVC pipe on the exhaust was installed in such a way that water could easily backup and destroy the vacuum for the induction motor. Antonio had to cut and re-glue the PVC pipe on the exhaust, and setup a nice incline in the pipe, such that water could flow out and it wouldn't be an issue in the future. Very happy with the response time and work, my furnace is working great! read more

Excellent service! Very friendly staff. Antonio was great at explaining what the issue was in a way that it was easy to understand.

Didn't know what was wrong with heating and Ron was able to get something scheduled asap for me. Technician Angel was great. He went over and explained everything beyond just what the issue was. He was very nice and professional. read more

Great service! I was able to setup service over Yelp messenger which was a plus! The tech arrived was plenty and courteous. He left maintenance instructions on to remind us that our filter needs changing. He serviced our furnace and hot water heater. They accept checks and PayPal for payment for services. I will definitely use them again. read more

Our furnace was in need of a replacement; from the time I contacted Ron and his team at Any Temp for a quote, through to the completion of the installation, my experience was top-notch. The installation was smooth and uneventful; the team was on-time, efficient, and did a great job of keeping us informed throughout the process. Highly recommend! read more

Highly recommended. After meticulously comparing with ~5 other similar HVAC repair companies for my AC installation, I decided to go with Any Temp. When doing a free on-site estimation, Sal ( Salvador) was very thorough, shared pictures he taken, and pointed out stuff other technicians wouldn't care to bring up. He was professional, and patiently answered all my questions. The owner Ron was very customer-oriented/ attentive too. Most importantly, their price is fair, and they provided excellent, quality service. Overall, it was a pleasant experience working with them. Oh, and they don't accept discount for Yelp reviews. However people still taking time to leave a five star comment for them. Just a down-to-earth small business that everyone should support. read more

Resolved the a/c issue in a quick manner. will hire them again. The price seems to be good.

I sent them a message on yelp fairly late in the evening not expecting a response until the next day. They had me scheduled for an appointment that worked with my schedule within 10 minutes! Angel came the next day and quickly identified the problem with my AC and had it up and running in 30 minutes. He explained exactly what the problem was and was very kind and respectful. Definitely recommend this business and Angel! read more

Not only were fast, friendly, and masked up - they fixed out furnace problem very quickly and efficiently. Will use again (if needed!) and would certainly recommend. read more

Our AC wasn't working and we just bought the house and had a baby so needed someone to walk us through the situation given we weren't familiar with our system (and were sleep deprived). Angel came out the morning after we reached out. He was friendly, respectful, and clearly knew his stuff. He walked us through what might be wrong, explained everything he was doing in a way I could understand, and got the problem fixed fairly quickly at a very fair price. And now we don't have to worry about our baby overheating! Definitely recommend their service! read more

I've called Any Temp for furnace repairs and maintenance on three occasions. Always a great help with a solid responsive and reliable team. Highly recommend. read more

I had an old failing furnace + radiator system that wasn't initially installed previously up to code by another company. Antonio and Jesus were the technicians that helped me out and were very knowledgable, professional, and friendly. (owner?) Highly recommend AnyTemp Heating and Cooling. The technician, Angel Guadalupe, was very thorough, professional, and friendly. Five Stars!

I have used Any Temp for multiple jobs for my house including both furnace and AC repair and installation. The crew is very professional and provided clear and honest feedback. I had the pleasure to meet the owner Ron and his crew Antonio and Sal. They are all great to work with. During one new AC installation, there was some minor problem causing a small water leak that damaged my bathroom ceiling downstairs which we didn't notice until a few months passed. Called them and they came within a day or two, inspected it, fixed the program with AC and sent a painting guy to fix my ceiling right away. No question asked, no additional bill sent to me. It is very refreshing to work with companies like them that care about their customers. I highly recommend this company for your future heating or cooling needs. read more

I was having issues with my AC and Ron sent someone out to see me within 24 hours. In addition to swiftly repairing my unit, they took measurements and gave me advice on how to go about replacing it in the future. I would recommend them to anyone read more

Angel came out to check out an issue with our A/C. He came in the time frame that was scheduled and was fantastic. He did a great job diagnosing the problem which was a warped capacitor which he promptly found locally and bought to replace the defective one. He proceeded to let me know the different options I had available and didn't push for just replacing the entire HVAC system. Appreciate the honesty, clarity, and communication with Any Temp read more

Our Situation: -We recently moved into a new house. On Jan 17, we awoke to find the house at 54 degrees and dropping. On Jan 18, our "regular HVAC company" charged us $130 to diagnose the problem (inducer motor) and wanted another $970 to replace it -- but the technician recommended a completely new furnace. On Jan 19, we met with a salesman; mid-range options were $7,000. Before signing dotted lines (and definitely in sticker shock), I Yelped for other inducer motor replacement estimates. (We've used our "regular HVAC company" for maintenance for years in our previous house, so I trusted their diagnosis -- but not their repair pricing.) Why ANY TEMP earned our business that day: -Ron's Yelp messages were very prompt, professional, direct, and helpful. -Ron's Yelp quote was just barely the lowest (of 4) -- and far lower than the ridiculous $970. -Any Temp has fantastic online reviews across multiple sites. (The "lowest price" was extremely important to us, and the rave reviews sealed the deal.) -On the phone, Ron was very polite, organized, responsive, and helpful. Why ANY TEMP will keep our business: -Everything that happened (from the automated "confirmation" text, to Sal's "I'm on my way" phone call, to his on-time arrival, to the final price tag) went EXACTLY the way Ron said it would. -When Sal hit an unexpected repair snag because of a corroded screw that required ingenuity and a 50-minute roundtrip to a supply house (in the snow), he didn't charge me an extra dime -- not for the extra time, not for the extra effort, not for the extra little part. -Sal was friendly, prompt, knowledgeable, and honest -- and got the job done. He truly went the extra mile for us! -Every company uses technology, but Any Temp seems to be using it well -- to help the customer: their automated texts and digital billing platform are great. Takeaway: -If you like servicemen who show up in a clearly labeled company vehicle, in a uniform, wearing a name tag, and with a business card, Any Temp is not that. (At least it wasn't on a Saturday evening when Sal showed up in an unmarked van with a bag of tools.) -It's been nearly two months, our house is still warm and cozy, and my wallet is not empty! read more

I'm in Lakeview. My air-conditioner HVAC system is 18 years old. It's been working fine. But, due to age, I thought I should have it inspected. I called Deljo and they quoted me $109 to do an inspection. But then my neighbor referred me to Any-Temp. They charged $60 for an inspection. Deal! I called them and they said they could come out tomorrow morning. Excellent. Ron from Any-Temp came out, right on time, and checked my a/c system. He said it was a little low on refrigerant and the fan motor was beginning to fail. He only charged me another $60 to add refrigerant. I've decided to not replace the motor. Money's tight, so I'll wait until it dies. We talked about replacing the a/c system with a new, more efficient one. Ron was not pushy or trying to upsell me a new expensive a/c system. His honesty was appreciated. He said my a/c system is about at the end of the typical life span. But, he admitted that if it keeps working without needing expensive repairs than I should keep it. Great experience. Ron's very professional. He took plenty of time to explain what he did. He uses the latest diagnostic tools which are more precise than the old-school analog gauges that many competitors use. Arrived on time. Very good prices! Ron will be getting my future heating and a/c work in the future. read more

Any Temp technician, Ron Zivoin, was contacted at 8:00 A.M. on Thursday, February 5, 2015, in regards to a condo association I manage that was entirely without heat. Temperatures on this day were down into the single digits. Within an hour, Ron was on-site and was able to pinpoint the cause of the boiler system shutdown immediately. He was able to get this heat up and running in just a few hours. This particular system runs on sensors, so Ron replaced batteries in all interior & exterior sensors and reprogrammed the interior sensors. In addition to this, Ron performed a thorough cleaning of the system, supplying "before" and "after" pictures. I have been using Ron, for over one year now, to service all HVAC-related issues in the properties I manage. His professionalism is absolutely phenomenal. I find Ron to be honest, prompt, and extremely knowledgeable in his field. His prices are very fair. This gentleman definitely sets the bar when it comes to the standards I look for whenever an HVAC tech is needed. I do not even consider hiring anyone else! read more

Ron and his technician Sal were so incredibly helpful and responsive. Our water heater that is around 8 months old started to run out of hot water at a faster rate than usual. Any Temp sent Sal to come check it out, diagnose all of the potential problems, and fix it that same day--literally within hours of calling. Unbelievably good service and communication. Any Temp was recommended to me by a friend, and I would highly recommend Any Temp to all of my friends. I will also be using them for maintenance of my HVAC, humidifier, and water heater. Thank you, Ron and Sal!! read more

My faith in HVAC humanity restored with Any Temp. Sent a quote through Yelp and then communicated with Verdan and Sal provided a prompt, corteous and honest service. I contacted any temp about my gas furnace and got a diagnosis quote of $65. After a 5 minutes analysis the tech identifies the problem as a flame sensor. He tells me it costs $216. I said the part must be made of gold. Wanting heat for my townhouse I agree to the service. I then look up that specific part for my furnace online and find out it costs less than $10. I would expect a mark up but not of this magnitude. I call the owner Ron to discuss the ridiculous mark up on his parts. I get no resolution other than this is the price I charge. Be wary of this company and the hidden fees associated with their very expensive pricing. I am now replying to the post from the company. I did discuss the pricing with Ron and did not spend 20 minutes on the phone with him. I did not want a service plan that would have NOT reduced the overall price as the service plan cost $95 additional dollars. No reduction there!! I did compliant on the service as I did not want to seem like a jag and didn't want the entire call to have a negative vibe. I am human too . My rating and statement still hold true. The cost of the part is $10 and I was charged $216!!! I am not even joking. This is so ridiculous and absurd!!! Don't fall for the same trick!!! Be wary!!! Slick with words but end results still the same. Over charging customers!! read more

We've lived in our house for about 7 years now and Any Temp has been doing our seasonal maintenence since day one. Ron, Antonio and Sal are all super awesome and I totally feel comfortable having them come while my husband is at work - I'm not worried that they are going to try and sell me something I don't need or charge me for extra services, etc. They are very nice and honest people and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, honest, fair HVAC company. read more

We had our AC unit and furnace replaced last week and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The price quoted was lower than two other highly rated companies on Angie's list and Yelp. Ron is a true professional, punctual and his entire team did a fantastic job. He never ever pushed anything, and I was very confident his advice came from his desire to provide the best service at the best price. The installation was quick, well done( AC unit is located on rooftop and it was quite challenging to bring the new unit up there!) and the price was under the original quote.I would highly recommend this company to any of my family and friends. Thank you! read more

What a great company! I was referred by a neighbor who praised Ron's work. He was right about everything. Of course it was an incredibly hot day in Chicago. The AC would switch on, but no cool air. I was panicked because I have an older small dog, who can't tolerate heat. The temp in the house was around 86 degrees. Ron tried to help me on the phone, but knew he needed to come by. He came by the following day and I was so nervous that my 15 yr. old unit would need to be totally replaced. He said he could fix it and I was so relieved that it cost me only around $300. But, he said to budget for a new unit for next year. AND I'LL NOT HESTITATE TO CALL RON BACK FOR THE JOB! Awesome and astonishing to find good, honest, reliable person. He will get lots of referrals from me and I live in a building with 32 old units (unless they've already been replaced). USE ANY TEMP HEATING AND COOLING! read more

My wife and I used Ron as a second opinion after another company performed a cleaning on our furnace that left it non-functional. He responded more quickly than the other company's "24 hour emergency line" and was unbelievably helpful both on the phone and in person, making it out to our house by 10am on a Sunday after leaving him a voicemail around 8/8:30 that morning. His repair recommendations were on par with what the previous contractor stated, although they were around 1/3 of the cost. During the inspection, he was very thorough, explained what he was looking at/for, and extremely professional. Our furnace was 18 years old anyway, so we opted to just replace our unit with a high-efficiency model through Any Temp (previous company quoted us over $2000 higher for a comparable model) and Ron/company were able to install it next day for us, which was great due to the sub-freezing weather. Would not hesitate to give Ron a call next time we have a heating/cooling issue! read more

Ron is "worth-his-weight-in-Gold"! Too bad I don't carry gold around anymore, lol...on the record cold morning of 2/20/15 I called early in the am with a 'no-heat' issue. I had called other so-called reliable emergency companies only to hear sorry not for a day or two...Ron picked up the phone himself and was out to us in 3-hrs after two other stops. Changed the zone valve and we were back in paradise! He's a Rock-Star in my book!!! read more

I had been having issues with my furnace for a month now and was working with another company with no results in spite of multiple visits. Then I called Any Temp and they sent Sal out. He found the problem right away (fyi, had nothing to do with furnace, had to do with exhaust piping). He fixed the issue and now I am warm again. Any Temp will now be my "go to" company for any heating or cooling needs. read more

I had a noisy air conditioning system. I called Ron and he was able to accomodate me. He fixed the problem and checked the system. While he told me the unit is old and shakey, it was not ready to be replaced yet, as it was still working and could go on working for awhile. Ron gave me a general idea of costs to replace it should that day come. I am a single female and am always fearful of getting ripped off, I do not believe Ron would ever do that, he could have tried on this visit, other companies would have. I would reccomend him and trust him, he is not in the business of ripping people off. read more
