I came here on a whim and the menu was completely different than what I saw online, so I'm updating my review so that it reflects the new menu. There was a lot fewer "healthy" options than I thought there would be based on the old menus. And then a lot more burgers and hot dogs type of items. They did have bakery items and that's what I ended up ordering. I got the cheese empanadas and they were "mini" empanadas for $5. The cheese was fantastic -- very melted and it had a good flavor. The pastry was fried and so it was oily and I was surprised that the empanadas didn't come with any sauces. But overall, I had a positive experience I just wished that the menus online were updated. read more

Dropped in for a quick bite and I've never been more disappointed. The pictures online and on their menu did not match the food at all. This little jewel of a place has the most tasty and legit sandwiches and baked goods. The pizzas are great as well. My favorite sandwich is the Italian Churrasco. Perfectly cooked meat every time. The meat patty is super thin, but just right for what I was craving. I got the hamburger chacarero which has green beans. Didn't taste the green beans in the burger and enjoyed the flavor profile. Their cafe is super cute and such a fun vibe. I went for dinner but wish I came early so I can try their coffee. Looked and smelled so good. Delicious and homemade! I can't even think of the last restaurant that served a hamburger patty that was made from ground beef and hand packed at the restaurant. This place has hand formed meat patties that are huge and delicious! Their buns are homemade and soft. I got the mushroom burger and it had a tasty garlic aïoli sauce and nice sautéed mushrooms. I personally thought that the size was a good size for the hamburger, but my husband was wanting it bigger because it was so good. Their fresh french fries are crispy and I was able to get a side of ranch dressing to dip them in and it was perfect. It is a little more pricey than other hamburger joints but it is definitely worth the extra couple bucks for an extremely delicious burger. I will say, it was a little confusing coming in and not knowing if you sit down or if you order at the counter. There was a sign on the floor that said "wait here" but then no one came to greet us or tell us to order at the counter. There was another couple in there sitting at a table and they were confused as well because once my husband and I started ordering at the counter they stood up and got in line behind us to place their order. So just know to go to the counter and place your order and they will bring it to your table. The owner was so sweet and polite and I will definitely be back as soon as I can! This café must have changed ownership at some point in the last year because the only thing that is the same as the pictures included on Yelp is the sign outside. Very cute inside but if you're hoping to get any of the items on the menu that is on Yelp right now, this is no longer the place to get it. Okay, I want to start off by saying the cannolis are DEFINITELY 5/5 stars! They are WAY better than the Cannoli at Mike's in Boston that everyone is crazy about! The cream inside is soooo delicious! Every bite is worth the calories . The food was also very good, although the salads were lacking a little "umph". My mom got the caprese salad and the tomatoes were a little pale and i got the avocado salad and while it was tasty I feel it could have benefited from more toppings like tomatoes, bell peppers, nuts, cheese etc. The bread is homemade and very tasty. The inside is soft and dense at the same time. The chicken noodle soup was also very good. Long story short, we are DEFINITELY coming back for more cannoli! read more

Antonella's is definitely a hidden gem! I went here with my wife a few months ago and it was so incredible! We tried the California Burger which is the mouth-watering first pic and the Artisan Burger, the second pic! we both immediately noticed that the bread was made in house and that the patty was high quality- you can taste the difference! Currently they do not offer dine-in but they have 3 outside tables with chairs. On a nice weather day it's really enjoyable to eat outside. The pizzas take about 15 mins to cook so if you dont want to wait order ahead! The restaurant is also on the busy street side of state street in orem. Sidewalk parking is limited but there are parking lota behind the building complex. It's a pretty small restaurant, might be easy to miss. But the food here is pretty great as far as fire ovens go! The dough and crust is crispy and chewy. You get a hint of burnt bread on some pieces. I prefered the pepperoni pizza due to the cheese to sauce ratio. So much cheese! Likes a 2:1 and cuts of pepperoni is super thin so they get cooked well. The margarita pizza was also good just not my taste preference. I like cheese and meat. The Italian sodas are great, on the sweet side not so tart. I'd definitely come back again and tey some othwr flavors of pizza. Also antonella's makes homemade breads that usually sell out by noon! The name is the same but the food is completely different. Used to be Italian food but now it is Chilean. Which is all fine and good but it's a bit overpriced for what basically amounts to fast food. I was sad to see that the Italian cafe with all the delicious cured meats and baked goods that I've come to love is no longer there, despite it appearing to be the same restaurant from the street. This is the most unassuming and cutest little bakery/cafe just off of State Street. If you don't know it's there, you'll probably miss it. Is is easy to get lost in the hustle and bustle of all the strip malls, but is worth the find once you get there! When you walk in, you'll be able to smell that you are in for quite the treat. It is small, quaint, and adorable. The owner and workers are absolutely delightful people. I loved the atmosphere! The food itself was great! Everyone in my party was very pleased. I would be excited to try something new next time. The bread especially is super tasty! I'm not dying to come back as soon as possible, but I will definitely come here again next time I am craving Zupa's or something like that. The atmosphere is better and the food is just as good. This place has such a cozy feel and I love that it is locally owned! Their menu is full and the food is delicious. I had their pesto chicken sandwich and those I went with had the portobello burger and pesto pizza. We were all extremely pleased with how our orders came out. They also have delicious loaves of bread for sale at the counter and they looked amazing. At one point, they must have heard us talking about how it's my friends birthday because at the end of our meal they brought out a slice of their amazing strawberry lemon cake and you guys... I'm not a huge cake person but THIS was so so good. Highly recommend these dishes from the menu and honestly cannot wait to go back and continue to try other options as well! read more

Still a five star place and it just gets better with every visit. This time I tried the pastrami burger and my daughter had the caprese sandwich. I was in heaven with that pastrami sandwich. The buns...oh my heavens...so good, the pastrami was lean and abundant, the onions were thinly sliced, it had the freshest spring greens (and so much of it that you didn't feel as guilty eating burger) and the burger was just delicious. The caprese sandwich was also very good but my daughter wished it had more olive oil and les Mayo. It was my daughter's birthday so we ordered dessert. The panna cotta with strawberries was very good although more watery than I'm used to. I have to give them major kudos for using multi-use plates and glasses, and not giving straws unless you ask for them. Excellent job reducing plastic and paper waste. read more

Quaint little place tucked along state street in Orem. I gotta say this was probably the best bread I've had on a sandwich. From the peanut butter cookie, the bread, to the sauces; everything was fresh and light. My family ordered the Italian sandwich, chipotle chicken sandwich, kalamata sandwich, and clam chowder with bread. I wouldn't get the kalamata sandwich unless you love olives, but the sauce was delicious. The chipotle gave a serious kick of flavor and spice. The only downside to this visit was they apparently ran out of ice and had sent someone to the store to get some, meanwhile they told us it'd be just a few minutes for my son's smoothie he ordered... it ended up be the entire time we were there eating and waiting an extra ten minutes before we asked for a to go box and where our smoothie was. They said they were waiting for the person to come back, Monday you they didn't say anything to us about the problem. They did give us a refund, but my husband had asked if they could just give us a couple cannolis instead and they said they'd have to figure out the price difference. A little nitpicky if you ask me. Antonella's got everything right: the environment, the quality, customer service, etc. It was an exceptional sandwich (I got the Italian and it was fantastic). Unbelievably good. I've had their sandwiches, their pizzas, and their desserts and they're all very tasty. They specialize in making you feel better via their amazing menu offerings, which includes (drumroll ...) Lemon Chicken Pizza. Lemon. Chicken. Pizza. ...let the thought of that wash across your pallet; then tell me you can't think of anything good to eat. This very small shop serves up some of the best Euro-centric grub to be found anywhere in the land of Zion. Antonella's fulfills your breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner, smoothie-run, coffee fix, or dessert desires, from 7:00 a.m. til 8:00 p.m. They close for a couple of hours between 4-6 p.m. during the week, so educate yourself on whether they're open or not before you go. I hate reading the reviews from people who drove a thousand miles to eat here only to find a note on the door that they're closed for the day, afternoon, or whatever. This is a small family-run business, kids. Call first, unless you're okay with a drive for a drive's sake. The loaves of enchanted bread for sale are plentiful in the morning, but disappear by the 10 or 11 o'clock hour. By lunchtime, plan to take no bread home - you're too late. I've had just about everything here, and can tell you that there is absolutely nothing I wouldn't order again and again. Some of the highlights for me are the TBA and the Chipotle Chicken sandwiches. All ingredients are fresh, particularly the bread - they even make their own buns for the burger (which is, by the way, one of the best burgers I've ever eaten anywhere!). Beautiful spring mix lettuce and actually delicious tomatoes are utilized. They do breakfast and specialty coffee, smoothies, kids meals, salads, soups (in a bread bowl if you wish!), and a dessert case featuring a gorgeous selection of several different baked treats every day. (Think Kneader's but better...) Earlier, if you were paying attention, you may have been sharp enough to ferret out my mention of the Lemon Chicken Pizza. Forgive me, but I'm utterly hung up on it. The marinated chicken, the onions...oooh...and the crust! They do something different at Antonella's when making the bread products - I'm not sure what is happening back there in that tiny kitchen, but it's doling out baked treats that should probably be illegal in most incorporated townships. The food here is not the only good thing. The owner is also one of the best aspects of this place. He takes extraordinary pride in his food, and it shows when you eat it. He is never hesitant to talk about how it's made and from where the ingredients are sourced, or his general philosophy regarding food and serving his public. He is truly a local gem that we're lucky to have in our woods-neck. One would have to reach to find negatives at Antonella's. I suppose you could say that parking is not ideal, or, if you're eating in, that the dining space is far from fancy. So, get the food to go, take it home or to a friend in the hospital, eat it at the park, in the rain, or in a boat with a goat. We got the turkey bacon avocado sandwich on focaccia bread, panini prosciutto, and the tiramisu. ALL were 5 star quality, SO SO SO good. The sandwich bread is perfect, the ratio of sandwich contents were just right, and the flavor was great. Beware, the tiramisu is not for sharing, you'll want to get your own cuz it's delectable. But also beware, don't inhale when you put a spoonful in your mouth, you'll choke a bit if you're a tiramisu rookie like me. The owner is friendly and the service is welcoming and quick. My wife and I were super excited to come here duh to great reviews. I ordered the combo meal with tomato soup and avocado sandwich. My wife just got a full avocado sandwich which is advertised as coming with chips. It no joke came with 6 chips out of a Costco value pack. My wife was happy with her meal otherwise. Food was good. My soup was good, just a tiny portion. Now the sandwich is where I was very disappointed. I looked at it, see photo, and was astonished to see there was hardly any bacon. I asked if they forgot to put the correct amount. I was told a full sandwich only gets 1 strip of bacon! And since mine was a half I only got 1/2 a strip of bacon. Now I paid around $10 for the meal and all they can give me is 1/2 of a strip of bacon. That is why the 2 stars. The avocado helping was pretty weak as well. read more
