We dove in too fast to take a picture but the Hokkaido tea crepe cake is amazing! By far the best crepe cake I have ever had (and I've had my fair share)! The layers of crepe are perfectly thin without it being dry or crusty at the edges. There is a perfect amount of cream btwn each and it's not too sweet either. Some places I have tried (ahem* Lady M) has been too dry which made the cake not feel fresh and not to mention the flavors were lacking. The Hokkaido flavor at Anton is my favorite as it packs a good amount of tea flavor while still being a delicate balance. It's like I'm eating a cloud! Our group got the two orders of the 2 slices for $20. Flavors were black sesame and their signature hokkiado. Hokkiado was my favorite and I loved the the crunchy chocolate in between the layers. Now for the not so good... 3 stars due to the service and I don't usually rate on service. The woman who served us the slices lacked enthusiasm, gave an impression that we were being a hassle, and had an attitude of I hate being here. My bf recently surprised me with a combo flavor cake from Anton's to celebrate a special occasion, and it was the sweetest surprise ever! The combo flavor cake contains 10 decadent slices of painstakingly crafted mille crepe cake, with 5 flavors in total (Hokkaido milk tea, black sesame, hojicha, tiramisu, and matcha). The cake itself had a stunning presentation and came beautifully wrapped with a gold satin ribbon. It would've been helpful to have a short description or guide to identify the different flavors though, since we kept having to refer to the website. The Hokkaido milk tea was our absolute favorite, followed by black sesame and hojicha. The Hokkaido milk tea was very distinct, and had the perfect balance of flavor and sweetness. The difference between the black sesame and hojicha was somewhat imperceptible (it doesn't help that they look deceivingly similar) -- both have a mild nutty undertone, but hojicha has a slightly more toasted flavor. You can tell the matcha is premium quality, but it was a little too bitter for my taste. Didn't have any complaints about the tiramisu; it was just as advertised, albeit the sweetest of all flavors. They're light (not too sweet), flavorful, and stacked so carefully well. The cakes come in a beautifully sleek box, and the bag is wrapped in ribbon which gives the cake a luxurious feeling. However, it is pretty pricy, so you do get what you pay for. I think this is one of the best cakes I've had, so it's well worth a try. Picture it: Easter Sunday 2021, which also happened to be my dad's birthday this year. Cue my sister sending me the Yelp page for Anton SV Pâtisserie and telling me to go there instead. So I went. In front of the shop, there's a menu with three sets of instructions: if you pre-ordered, if you're there to pick up for a delivery service, or if you're looking to place an order. I rang the bell for assistance and asked if I could place an order for two whole cakes. The lady was so sweet and told me that she doesn't have any cakes available at the moment, but she could make them for me and I could come back in a couple of hours. She also gave me a pro tip and said for whole cakes, it's generally better to pre-order a day in advance. I thanked her profusely and returned a few hours later to two beautiful mille crepe cakes. Hokkaido Milk. aka their signature flavor. Activated charcoal makes these crepe layers black, and in between each one is a sweet, rich cream made from Hokkaido milk, which is known to be smooth and rich. Mini chocolate-covered rice balls speckle the cake throughout, giving the normally melt-in-your-mouth consistency a surprising crunchy texture every so often. Matcha. Layers of smooth matcha cream and a top layer of perfectly dusted matcha. The flavor of this one is definitely less sweet than the Hokkaido Milk; it's earthy and fragrant like matcha should be. There was also a black sesame option on the menu that was sold out that day. Guess I'm gonna have to go back for that one! You must be thinking to yourself: $88 for a cake??? Well worth it when you think about the effort it takes to make and assemble these cakes, and even more worth it once you take a bite. It would have been a 4 star but I was having issues with ordering delivery. I ended up having to go an order another one on the direct website and deal with DoorDash trying to refund me. I also wanted the strawberry hazelnut cake but they always seem to run out of that one. I hope I get to try one in the future. Each were about $20 and come with a ser of two slices. So... about $10 a slice. Each cake had at least 20 crepe layers and had the perfect amount of creme in between. The flavor was very prominent, especially in the pistachio. None were overly sweet at all, which was perfect. We also got two sets of fruit tarts (4 in total) as well! The fruit was very fresh and tart. The grapes were especially on the sour side. They were all set inside of a Vanilla Bean cream and a shortbread tart. They were very delicious! I love that they had a good variety of fruit and not just berries. I purchased all of these items during the evening and my family did not eat any of it until the evening after. Nothing seemed to be less in quality at all! Despite spending a day in my refrigerator, the cakes were all still kept perfectly. Only the Hokkaido cake slice seemed to sink down, so I may recommend eating that one the same day if you care about the presentation. These desserts are not meant to last in room temperature for long periods of time, so they packaged the cake boxes with DRY ICE! Wow, so fancy. *Covid-19 review* I've had Anton SV Patisserie bookmarked forever it seems. I was finally able to give them a try recently. They don't have a store front and all orders are placed on their website so there is no in-person contact with the employees except to pick up your order. They're located in the back of a business area filled mainly with non-retail stores so I circled around a 2nd time before I found them. When I arrived, there was a clear sign posted as to how to pick up my order. I decided on two slices of their black sesame mille crepe cake. The gentleman who greeted me asked how far my drive home would be. Since the drive would be a couple of hours, he let me know that the crepes should be kept cold until I was ready to eat them so he placed some dry ice to do just that. Finally got a chance to try the Mille crepe cakes here. We got a few slices of their signature Hokkaido milk Mille crepe cake and the pistachio Mille crepe cake. I am not a fan of over-sugared desserts and these did not disappoint. The texture of the thin crepe layers in between lightly flavored cream made each bite feel pillowy soft. The Hokkaido milk had a few tiny choco balls that added a delightful crunch. The pistachio slice imparted the slightest flavoring definitely not overbearing. I would definitely go back for a slice or full cake for a special occasion as it's $19.99/2 slices and a full cake at $88. read more

New addiction !!! Layers of perfect thin crepes with flavorful filling in between :) we have ordered via doordash and it comes with some cooling agent which helps keep its shape. They also sent instructions on how to cool it before eating. We have obly ordered the pistachio flaavor so far and its been a hit ! Too bad you can only order in pairs of slices - going to try some of their other exotic flavors soon too ( black sesame, matcha etc ). This was my first mille crepe to try because I wanted to celebrate! It was pretty expensive but the reviews were good so I decided to splurge. People even said it was better than Lady M - I can not say either way since I haven't tried! Order: 2 slices Signature Hokkaido Milk Mille crepes (~$20) - be warned they're pretty small slices! The crepes were soft and the cream was light, airy, and not too sweet. It was good and I'm not sure what I was expecting but I didn't get blown away. The flavors didn't seem super special, just a standard cream. The crunchies inside were a nice change and touch. I wouldn't recommend against it but I also wouldn't get it again at this price. I've been wanting to try this place out, so I was super excited when my friend sent me two of the matcha mille crepe cake slices for my birthday. The delivery came with dry ice, which was super functional/useful. It's definitely a unique cake, so I would recommend trying it out if you haven't before. Although it was tasty, I would say I've had better versions before. Typically, the layers are supposed to be slightly "crisp" which creates a unique texture. I felt like the layers were a little soggy, but to be fair, I also ate it later in the day after receiving the delivery in the afternoon and refrigerating it until I was ready to eat it (about 6 hours later). I'd definitely recommend eating the cake as soon as you get it. The matcha flavor was on point, and the dessert overall wasn't overly sweet. The first time I saw this place (before my friend had sent me the slices), I recalled that the prices were pretty high. That fact coupled with my experience tasting it, I'm not exactly convinced that it would be worth the price. read more
