The LVP is lifting in areas because there are uneven surfaces. The LVP has lifted so much, that the boards are sharp where they have popped. I contacted Modern Flooring Services and they informed me that my warranty expired in February (2 months back) and that they won't be able to help me. This isn't a warranty issue, this is an installation issue. Don't use this company as they won't make good on their mistakes. They did offer to provide an estimate to repair the work, however. UMMM. Second, my actual experience - They are borderline fraudsters, and most likely will scam you once you sign the contract. I did a project worth $15K with them and it was a nightmare experience. First, they began adding several hidden charges, knowing that I have no other option than to stick with them. Second, they did a quite a bit of damages in my home during installation and walked away citing the contract holds them not responsible. Finally, they were tried a neat trick to charge you more - they will increase the square footage of installation, I am not talking about 10% wastage. For my 650 sq. ft carpet installation (including 10% wastage) they were charging me for 765 sq. ft. When I questioned them, they reverted it back to 650 sq. ft. Something to be careful with these people. The workmanship is just ok. Harwood installation was ok, carpet installation was a lower quality work. Here's how they work - they subcontract to another folks who in turn subcontract to another folks, this caused a lot of churn in communication and in the end, you pay for all the middleman. Lastly, they will not honor anything they mention on their website or provide any kind of warranty. The same owner has another store in Lynnwood - Wills Flooring and you will see a striking similarity in review content, language as well as posters for both the stores. All these reviewers who have given 5 stars have posted only 2-4 reviews on Google, they all have stock photos and their profiles are locked. So, please double check before trusting the reviews.

Despite a busy schedule, Amaya's was able to remove all carpeting and instruct these novice homeowners on how to use KILZ primer to paint some unfinished wood before returning to install the beautiful LVP tiles.
