One of the cracks in our luxury vinyl plank flooring

Update: After this review the manager ensured that I was contacted to fix this issue with my floor. It took about 2 months to get it fixed as the installers were busy and then did not show to our first appointment to fix the floors. but I am happy to report that today the installer came out and replaced some of the broken boards and put something underneath the really uneven part so it doesn't click out of place. Let's hope these fixes hold up as this flooring is no longer made and they used up all my leftover flooring to do this fix. One area wasn't able to be replaced as they ran out of flooring but overall I am much happier with the floor.

This is what the space looks like. Not complicated at all. Landing is 3' by 6' each stair is 3' by 11".

Let's see where to start...Brandon, from the start my Mother and I walk in and he takes us to the back to look at the commercial carpet we were looking for to carpet their garage landing and 4 stairs going down. When my mother gives him the measurements he says, " Well without exact measurements I couldn't give you a price quote." So then I asked him, "what about the measurements shes giving you aren't exact?", because they were exact measurements. He didn't like that we knew what we were talking about. He gave us a quote on what he said was 132sq ft. We decided on a carpet then went back in to set some things up with them and a nice woman helped us and gave us a quote. At this meeting we explained exactly how the stairs were laid out. Someone came out to take official measurements. After this Brandon called my mother again to tell her that we hadn't told him how the stairs were and that it would cost even more money because 3 of the four stairs needed to to have carpet wrapped all the way around (they aren't currently carpeted this way). Then Brandon tells her that he needs 100% payment upfront...... Never in all my years in the construction industry, or in my mothers years in construction banking, in our many various installations over the years ( windows, wood floors, roofs, etc. ) we have never had to pay the full amount up front. SO today me and my father went to a few other places, and not only did all of them say 132 sq ft was way too much for the measurements of our space, but all of the other companies had no problem not completely wrapping carpet around the 3 bottom stairs. So if you want to get completely ripped off and be talked down to as we were then go here and ask for Brandon! My Mother may have grey hair and be barely over 5' tall but I assure you she is smart as fuck. Her and my father have worked hard their whole lives and you Brandon don't deserve their hard earned money. Good day sir! You tried ripping off the wrong family. And you might have succeeded had you not been such a money hungry douche weasel. Flynns gave us a quote at least $200 cheaper...and for nicer carpet.

This is happening in 4 different places. Large gaps.

I purchased new flooring for my entire house from Carpet Liquidators 4 years ago. At first they were great and the installation went well. I was so excited as I had saved up for years to make this happen. But now all of my laminate flooring is separating after only 4 years! The installers came out and said the only way they can repair it is for me to purchase all new flooring (since the original is now discontinued) and pay the full installation cost. Very unhappy here. They wouldn't work with me or even meet me halfway so now I have to get all new flooring and spend another $3,000 plus after only 4 years! I am a single mom with kids and don't have that type of money. Will never shop here again.

    Smart Strand!

This was a very cool, eclectic shop. I've never wanted to buy a rug so badly, lol. And I may feel…read moreeven older because I got excited over a carpet, lol. There simply were too many interesting things. I am certain I could have spent hours inside and still not taken in everything. The back rooms had what I look at as apothecary chest- tons of little drawers, if you can picture it. Except they had several of them and every drawer was filled with different jewelry findings! Beads, clasps, bails- you name it. At the front of the store were a bunch of felt hats that were also incredible. We were greeted when we entered and checked on a couple of times- I really enjoyed this shop. I was very, very tempted to buy myself one of their gorgeous semi-precious gemstone necklaces. Next time.... oh next time!

Don't be fooled by the name: this is not a shop selling musical instruments and sheet music…read more I mean, sure, there are a few instruments to be found within (bells and whistles and whatnot), but this surprisingly spacious store is so much more than that. Populated with gifts, goods, clothing, accessories, jewelry, home décor (rugs! so. many. rugs!), hand-carved wooden furniture, and curious curios collected from the far flung corners of the world, exploring this place is a treat in itself. It's a self-contained bazaar in a building. The employee who greeted us was enamored with our newborn son, and gave him a free finger puppet, which apparently they do for every little tyke on their first visit, which was a sweet touch. My wife ended up purchasing a few trinkets and a necklace chain, but we spent more time ooh-ing and aah-ing, while conversing with the attendant, more than anything. A great place to shop, but also just to browse, explore, and absorb. Music for the eyes, indeed, but also serenity for the soul!
