This place was really good. Had the pepperoni and the Quattro. Both were delicious and tasted very authentic. Service was great. It felt like we had two waiters because people were always coming to refill our waters or ask us how we were doing. Food came out quick and tasted fresh. All ingredients tasted very fresh and home grown. I also noticed the menu had a gluten free section with several different choices. I don't have any issues with gluten but nice to see a list of options for this who do. My only gripe was the bill. It was a little high for 3 people. $50 for 2 pizzas and an adult beverage. Also they don't carry ranch or pineapple if you're into that sorta thing. Other than that, I'd definitely recommend and I definitely come back. read more

Opened the summer of 18 this place is worth a stop. Decor is meh but the food is great and the service attentive. Our salad was highlighted by the cherry tomatoes grown in eyesight of our patio table. It the prize was our mushroom and sausage pizza on a perrr-fect crust. Heard the owners stole the head chef from a top joint in NY to launch their original sister restaurant and have since won state awards for their tomato pies. I can see why. Delicious. Came here on a Sunday night around 7 pm. There was a 20 minute wait and clearly the staff was working hard to get people seated quickly. There were tons of exciting pizza options to choose from. I got the prosciutto Pizza and it was delicious. My husband got the sausage mushroom pizza and also loved his. I really don't think you can go wrong with a pizza here! He also liked his cocktail although it was a bit small - that's just what you get in Utah. The service was friendly and fast. OMG, where do I begin. Started with the fried calamari and caprese salad. The calamari was battered perfectly with amazing spices in the batter, partnered up with the marinara and cream based dipping sauces, it was purely delicious. The Caprese Salad had fresh Mozzarella that was made that morning in house, the tomatoes were grown in the garden off the back patio, and the balsamic was thick and full of flavor. Truly on point. For entrees, we chose the best Pizzas on the menu. The Antica Forma, the Pistachio and the Salciccia E Funghi. All three were winners. The Antica Forma has sweet caramelized onions and prosciutto and balsamic. The Pistachio has this amazing pistachio pesto loaded with the fresh Mozzarella and mild Italian Sausage. The Salciccia E Funghi and the same sausage but a sweet red sauce and some nutty pecorino Romano cheese. After meeting the owner, I found that it is a family business. The owner was building the patio water feature while we were there, but he was loads of fun to chat with, along with two of the sons who manage the place. I guess next spring they are planning on having a homemade cinnamon roll shack next door. The rolls are the owner's late Mother's recipe. Can't wait to try em the next time we roll through Moab. I also found that the owner recruited the pizza chef from New York who was trained in Italy and has the credentials to prove it. Hands down best pizza in Utah. read more

Good not great. We had the kids cheese pizza (crust delicious, the rest so-so). Bruschetta was really good on the garlic bread. Fettuccine Alfredo was pretty runny, noodles slightly undercooked, and chicken pretty dry. I would go with pizza from our experience. read more

The restaurant has a strange vibe, and watching the chef prepare the pizzas with his bare hands on a large TV screen in the middle of restaurant was rather disconcerting, BUT the pizza was, most surprisingly, DELICIOUS. I think the 4 1/2 star rating is a bit high at least for my experience. I had the calzone and my wife had one of the gluten free pizzas. It was my husbands birthday and we were hoping for a nice dinner. Once we entered it looked more like a Chuck E. Cheese. This restaurant is great for families with small children, but do not expect anything fancy. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but with it being 90 degrees we chose inside. Their outdoor area was a little better. We were seated by the door that led to the outdoor patio to face fly after fly. The idea of us seating inside is that we would have to face annoying bugs. My mother and nephew ordered pasta which was drenched in sauce. It was not that appetizing. The only saving grace was their pizza! Their pizzas were fresh and hot. Problem was they served them as we were eating our appetizers! This was quite frustrating as there was absolutely no room on the tables and they were really just okay. Our waitress should have taking note and waited on our dinner. They did have a special dessert treat for my husband and they stated it was home made deserts. Not sure, but the strawberry shortcake was quite delicious. Overall not quite what we were expecting but if you want a no frills pizza joint come here and only order that. read more

My mom and I went to this restaurant to eat because it was on our way to downtown from our hotel. We were seated right away. We got the Contadina pizza to share. Great crust, horrible toppings. Canned mushrooms (gross), way too much fresh mozzarella which was barely melted, never again. My family & I visited this restaurant after doing an adventure with the company next door, because it was close and convenient. This place was absolutely outstanding! We ordered the Fried Calamari and the Homemade Burrata and were very pleased. I ordered the Piccante pizza for my meal, and loved the flavor and spice. It was a great personal size pizza, if you're really hungry after the appetizers. I do not recommend this pizza for people who do not like spicy foods, but this was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. The service was fantastic, but I do have to point out it was a slow lunch day, so we did not have a problem with waiting for food long. I recommend this place for anyone in Moab looking for some great Italian food and pizza. read more

Antica Forma ("Old Style") has a large seating area and enough staff to serve their tables, so service was reasonably quick. There's a bar, but it isn't obvious, so some of our party didn't get beer when they would like to have. The pizzas really are "old style," a style defined by an Italian guy in New York who wants to be THE arbiter of what pizza really is. But in spite of that nob to ethnic snobbery (as if there is such a thing as "true Italian pizza" or "authentic Korean or Chinese food," something that doesn't have a history and isn't changing all the time), they are very good. I also had the burrata--good but not great. Mine had the rubbery knob that comes with making still on one end, sort of like rubbery, too-hard mozzarella. That threw me off at first, but when I tried the other end of the HUGE burrata on the plate, it was exactly the texture I was expecting. The only thing that held it back from being fantastic was probably the milk from which it was produced, but they can only work with what is available. Service was very good and attentive (lots of gold stars to Stephanie). Three stars because it is ridiculous to give every good restaurant 4 and 5 stars. 3 is defined as "A-OK," which is a good rating and ought to be. I'm not giving in to Yelp grade inflation. There are more than 2 or 3 rating possibilities for a reason. read more

The breaded chicken cutlet tucked inside was perfect, surrounded by melted mozzarella, seasoning and just the right amount of tomato sauce not to overwhelm or to make it messy to pick up and eat. The crust was crunchy but not overcooked. It came with a salad topped with fresh mozzarella, and drizzled with basalmic vinegar, that too was good. Taking one star away for being seated in front of the counter, inches from the front door where everyone congregates when they first come in the restaurant.
