Great pizza, expensive if you compare to other places but totally worth the price. The dough is cooked to perfection, the ingredients are very high quality. A proper Italian pizza place. The service is not exactly at American standards, more like Italian standards :). The staff is nice but the place is super crowded and the waiters just want to get their job done as quickly as possible. It didn't bother me because I was there for the food. My husband and I tried Antica Forma pizza in Moab on Wednesday evening. We had read the reviews, which seemed mixed but leaning more to the favorable side. We enjoyed our food and the service. It is a new restaurant and they're learning the groove, but all the staff were busy and helpful - it's a sign of good management when staff regardless of who your server is clears an empty plate from your table as soon as its noticed. It's Napolese style pizza. I had the La Nonna and my husband the Prosciutto. We both enjoyed our pizzas, they were flavorful and cooked just right - the only thing we thought could use improvement was the crust was a little dry. And we wanted some Olive Oil & and Balsamic vinegar at the table, which would have solved that problem. Napolese style pizza is now my favorite type of pizza. Each pizza is intended for an individual, it's a thinner dough that's cooked in a wood-fired oven, there isn't a lot of cheese or even toppings, which are limited to more traditional Italian options. But everything is made fresh to order, and is a taste we've come to love. If you want American pizza, go to Pizza Hut. We'll be back to eat at Antica Forma again. read more

Probably the best Margherita pizza I've ever had. Seriously such high quality food!! Great location, fun place to sit and a cool vibe. The only downside was that the service was just okay. A sweet little boy brought us waters but then our waitress was very cold to us, said maybe 3 words to us, brought us our food, and we didn't see her until we asked for the check about 15 minutes after we had finished eating. Despite that, I would still definitely recommend because of how amazing the food was, and that's what really matters! read more

The pizza was ok but the service was abysmal. Our waitress waited forever to check in, didn't refill our drinks, and took so long to bring us the check it was as if she didn't want us to pay. Options are limited in Moab and this pizza was decent but I would recommend taking it to go to avoid the less than average service staff. We lived in Sicily for 4 years and since moving back to the US, we have not found pizza that even close to that we enjoyed in Italy. This place lace was it! Best pizza we've had since leaving Italy. I am in the restaurant and hospitality business and my friend owns a restaurant. Visiting from across the country, we were so excited to find a good Italian restaurant in Moab. We found some great reviews online, so had to give it a try. What consumers expect from a restaurant experience certainly varies depending on the restaurant type, but there are some fundamentals that separate the great restaurant experiences from the bad ones. We were seated immediately by the hostess. However it took the server a pretty long time to appear. We wanted to have a taste of the wine we were ordering and the server told us that according to Utah law she would have to charge us $1 for taste. We didn't know if she was joking or being serious. She rolled her eyes at us and made smirks when my friend questioned her. Not sure if this is the Utah customer service specialty but a lot of the servers in this state are rude and have very bad attitude toward their guests. The homemade burrata was decent, the tomato was not ripe (still crunchy). The pizza however was very DELICIOUS, thanks to the hard working men by the brink oven. The food runner was also very friendly and pleasant. Keep making great pizza, but hopefully you will take this review as constructive criticism and train your servers to be more polite and guest friendly. read more

Boy oh boy! The pizza I had was PHENOMENAL! I had the cotto pizza. Everything about it was tasty! The house made mozzarella was tasty. The Italian ham was tasty. The pizza crust was tasty. I'm still thinking about it 2 days later! They are personal pizzas so they are small but if you're a small person like me expect leftovers. Maybe 2 slices of leftovers. I should've brought it back to the hotel but we went to the parks afterwards and it would've been ruined. So many regrets not eating it for breakfast...on another note, the pasta was bordering on great. What would've pushed it over the edge? Salt. Utahns must have issues with salt because few restaurants know how to season their food properly here. Salt your pasta water, A LOT! Salty as the sea. The mozzarella won't have enough salt to save the pasta. Damn, that mozzarella was delicious though. read more

So my family and I went here yesterday because all any of our three boys wanted was pizza, and this place had great reviews! While not very inviting when you came in, the server we had was excellent! Very knowledgeable about the menu and local area. The pizza was good, but extremely overpriced. The pizzas are only 11" and full of great fresh ingredients, however are particularly of interest to kids, but maybe to those who like to venture out a little more. However, with kids we do not, so this place wasn't for us price for what you get. Great crust though!! A group of ladies came here while we were in a motorcycle ride staying in Moab for a couple nights. The pizza and salads were so amazing. It was perfect for two ladies to split a salad and a pizza. Their pizza is simply delicious. Don't be fooled by pizza's description as personal size. One is good for two people. We ordered two and it was more than enough for 2 adults and 1 child. We took home leftovers. The pizza takes apparently 90 seconds to cook; the service is slightly slower (key word being slightly). We got our drinks and pizza really fast. We ordered one Prosciutto and one Pepperoni. Those were "safe" pizzas for a 5-year-old who just completed a 10-mile hike. Both were received very well by the child and adults alike. I had one of their cocktails, I do not remember which one, although it had either Antica or Forma or both in the name, and finished it in like three minutes, it was so delicious (and much needed after 6 hours of non-stop monologue from a 5-year-old). Overall, this place feels like a train station (large and busy) but tastes like delicious pizza from like Naples (it's Napoli pizza!!), not that I have been to Naples (yet!). read more

I was bothered by the fact that a party of 4 walked in at the same time and she waited until our tables were put together before she could tell them to sit anywhere they liked. Our group of 16 stopped by for a late lunch and they not only seated us right away and altogether they managed to produce 12 separate pies at the same time with less than 2 minutes between the first and last pies. The restaurant is a large, inviting room with some TVs -- some showing sports and one showing a live shot of the open kitchen in the corner where pizzas are being made in the wood-fired stove which is surrounded by some bar seating. Service was amazing -- the staff is all very enthusiastic. Our server Sierra was attentive and checked on us often. The food was tasty, especially the pizzas. Prices were fair, especially the beer prices. The one thing we disliked was the garlic bread -- it was extremely buttery and greasy. A five star pizza joint has good garlic bread. My son got the Ragu Alla Bolognese and it looked like it was just cut up hot dog in the sauce but he said it was great. I'd personally stick with the pizza though. Try Antica Forma, it's worth it. We ate here while we were on vacation. It was one of the only restaurants open when we arrived at our hotel. We were pleasantly surprised by the food. It was excellent. My son and I had their individual pan pizzas which were unique and delicious. We could have shared one pizza but we had leftovers for the next day. My husband had the lasagna. It also was different from typical lasagna and he loved it. Very friendly staff. If I'm ever in Moab again I will definitely go there read more

I was in the mood for Italian food after a day hiking at Canyonlands, so I popped in here as it was pretty much across from my hotel. The waiter was very helpful when I asked about a local whiskey on the bar list. I ordered one and liked it enough that I asked for another one with my dinner. He also made helpful suggestions as to the pasta entrees that I was interested in. With the wood fired oven it seems this place is kind of all about pizza. I was kind of hungry for pasta so I ordered the Ragu alla Bolognese. The sauce was good and loaded with plenty of meat, altogether a satisfying dish. For a place that cooks pizza though, their bread could have been a lot better. It was sort of an afterthought and might have come from a grocery down the street. What has warranted the mediocre rating is mostly in how the check was handled. I finished the last of my dinner and two beats later someone (not the waiter) laid down the folder with the check. What's that? Did I not want dessert? Another drink? Not to feel rushed maybe? To his credit the waiter, after I told him about feeling rushed, tried to make it up with a to go tiramisu on the house. Since I'm not really into sweets I didn't accept, but told him I appreciated the gesture. read more

We needed a quick dinner spot which was open late on a Sunday. This place was open and since pizza is the easiest for tired toddlers, we gave it a try. I called in to place a take out order and the guy that took my order was hilarious. I couldn't pronounce one of the pizza names and he said don't worry about it cause he couldn't either and he even tried and it sounded too funny...lol.
