A large, covered outdoor patio made this a great choice for a COVID-era dinner after a full day of hiking and kayaking. We had pizzas, which were wood fired and good, my only nit is that they did get a little soggy in the middle. I know that's hard to avoid with wood-fired but it can be done. My salad was fresh and good and my companion's burrata was both delicious and ridiculously big. It was like 4 burratas. We took most of it to go. Our server worked hard and though he had several tables we never felt neglected. Pizza crust was cooked well, nice slightly Smokey flavors from the oven. Service was good. For whatever reason not enough salt or they need to use better mushroom and sausage. The texture on the cheese and topping was right but it didn't "pop" sausage is supposed to be a little salty. Flavor on the lasagna was good, but they likely used no boil pasta for the lasagna which resulted in the bottom layer being kinda crusty, but not in a good way. Would come back for sure. read more

Ok. 4th of July night at 8:40pm. The place is slammed and crazy busy The close in 5 mins..... so they give us a table. The waitress (Melvia?) suggest the sausage pizza with pistachio pesto.... Decided to venture away from our usual places to get pizza with the family. We ordered bruschetta, mussels, and three pizzas. The bruschetta and mussels were pretty good and the pizzas were just ok. The crusts were under cooked; at best. The biggest hit on this review has to be the service. While they had four staff members seating people, there was only one taking orders and tending to the guests. She acted as if we were inconveniencing her when we asked for more water. Haven't even had any food yet!! The menu is so cool. So authentic. Had to try. This is the real deal. Home made mozzarella and burata. Wood fired pizza. High hopes. Extensive gluten-free menu. Utah microbrew beer. OK - just had a salad caprese - a huge portion and delicious. Potato croquettes were excellent. But the show stopper was gluten-free wood fired pizza. I'm giving them 3 stars for the quality of ingredients. They import the flour for the gluten free so bonus points for that, however the rest is a slight miss. They are so close but need to tighten things up. The fresh cheese is great but they are not conscious of the water content of their enormous amounts of toppings so the pizza is soggy in the middle. Look at Antico in Atlanta maybe turn up the heat. You are so close. read more

I stopped by for dinner after a great hike in the Park. What a great dinner. I started with a Val Gardena salad. It was fresh and very tasty. Next I shared a Prima pizza and Funghi pizza with my friends. Both were great. Thin crust is what I like. Desert was a delicious peach pie. My friend had a Nutella desert pizza. The service was great, the waiter checked to make sure all was going well during our dinner, and the water glass was always full. I will definitely stop in again when I come to Moab. read more

Really great pizza place in Moab. I'm a pizza snob after living in Italy, and this is the good stuff. If Pizza Rut is your thing then you might not appreciate this, but trust me, this is excellent thin crust, authentic pizza here in good old Moab. We had a large party and our server Joe was good. We had salads (Caesar and the Spritz were both good), and shared the prosciutto pizza. The garlic bread is also delicious. read more

This dinner night didn't start off so well. I'm not an expert in restaurant management, but I know when the place needs some serious training and management experience. We showed up around the end of the dinner rush, about 6:30. A few folks ahead of us then the hostess asked us how many. We informed her it was for five. We stood and waited about 10 minutes while every waiter and even the hostess focused on clearing tables. Meanwhile, others arrived to get seated. As the hostess failed to check in on the front desk, people were seeing the line grow and noticing the lack of attention from the hostess, so they were leaving. At least four families turned around while we waited longer and more tables were bussed and no one was being seated. After there were six open tables of four or more, we were seated. The hostess didn't even walk us to the table. She just gestured in a very shy manner to seat ourselves at a table. Clearly this should not be the hostess. But the waiter showed up, sweaty brow and all, took our drink orders, because he was also the bartender. He came back in the right time to take our orders, deliver drinks, and get us going on appetizers. He really saved the day. He needs to be commended as the all-star of this place. The rest of the wait staff seemed very confused and lacked direction. The food was fine and we have no complaints about that. Great pizza choices and the ability to meet everyone's dietary needs. My tip to the manager...get a host with a great personality and an amazing ability to organize and direct the wait staff, they will set the pace and help you turn those tables and increase your revenue. The only reason I gave this a four is that the food was good and the busboys were nice, our waiter not so much so he gets a 1 rating. The server has a little bit of an attitude not very friendly. He asked if we want dessert after our meal and my friend said no we are good, I saw him clenched his jaw while walking away, maybe he was trying to suppress his anger. I thought it was just me that noticed it but my friends' wife also noticed his attitude, busboys were nice and friendly and made sure they filled glasses with water when getting low. Overpriced child size pizza . We had the linguine with meatballs . The meatballs were very hard and hardly any sauce in there . The pepperoni pizza was salty and had hardly any pepperoni on it . Maybe 5 pepperonis. The size was almost like a child pizza. $16.95 for the crust , sauce , cheese and 5 pepperoni ! I think they took the idea of maximizing the profits too far & I think they can get away with it because the tourists come and go and Moab is a very busy place . Got 3 pizzas and garlic bread as a carryout. Total was about $65 and it fed 4 people with 3 slices left over. Pizza was ok. Not great and not nearly as good as you would have thought a wood fired oven pizza place should be. The pizza crust is very bland- almost tasteless. The singed crust would usually be welcome, but the underdone, structure less limp pizza bottom belied any knowledge of how to properly cook a really decent pie. 3 stars is average.
