Came here for a business dinner and had a great time. Our server shined bright and we appreciated her personality. The food was fresh with a heavy seafood selection. The views are awesome and we got to sit near the window and watch the sunset.

What happened here?! When I last visited, I gave it a 5/5 review. I had the worst dining experience this year if not the past couple of years. I got sat down and went to the bathroom to wash my hands. There was another patron who looked disgruntled as a staff member was stocking each stall with rolls of toilet paper in hand. Weird right? Then we ordered... The crispy calamari ($24) was basically steamed with zero crunch, batter falling off of the soft rings of squid. The squid was a gross, soft texture. If you told me it was pork bung I would have believed you given the ratio of rings to legs. Some of the pieces had a weird fishy taste. I then had the swordfish mushroom ragout ($46). The vegetables were cooked so that they weren't too mushy or firm, and risotto was pretty good, with chunks of artichoke hearts mixed in. Too bad that the swordfish had a fishy taste that contaminated everything! I had heard that the chef specials were ingredients that needed to be sold fast and had never believed it...until now. I ended up barely eating it and throwing the rest of it away. RIP swordfish sorry for wasting you. Finally, I got the white chocolate cranberry cheesecake ($15). The cheesecake had the perfect balance of sweetness and tang, with a smooth and lighter texture. Too bad that the menu did not mention it had a gingerbread crust which totally overpowered the other components of the dish. The gingerbread was not mentioned in the description in the menu. I would have steered away. The only saving grace was that the cranberry lemonade was delicious - Anthony's makes a good lemonade. When I went to freshen up in the restroom, I found out that the stalls were not loaded up with toilet paper properly - the rolls were just sloppily perched on the toilet paper holders. I think this just underscored how badly my experience went. Complete WTF.

Went solo on a Thursday evening. Good service, prompt attention. Mostly chairs, some half booths with adjustable tables, a few full booths which are presumably easily avoided. Got the Pomegranate Drop cocktail. It was pretty good. Ordered the three-course meal; not a lot of food but certainly reasonable for the price. Four shrimp in the cocktail, very tasty, four shrimp in the duet entree, also very tasty. Salmon could have benefited from slightly more seasoning. Pilaf with almond and golden raisins surprisingly tasty. Broccolini perfectly competent. Bailey's chocolate mousse pretty good. The restaurant itself is very nice. The view is absolutely incredible. Given the low price of the three-course options, this feels like an ideal date spot for people who want reasonably fancy.

Like other seafood restaurants, Anthony's is a staple for the PNW. Came here to celebrate a birthday and was able to get a window seat overlooking the water. Booking a reservation online was easy but probably wasn't needed as they weren't busy on a Sunday evening. My table ordered the calamari and seared tenderloin poke to share. It was our first time having the tenderloin, and I would definitely recommend it again as it was a favorite. The calamari was delicious and crispy plus the portion was generous split among three people. Their complementary sourdough bread basket is also something we always look forward to. For entrees we ordered the manila clams linguine, seasonal crabcakes, and the sirloin. By the time the entrees arrived we were already pretty full so there was plenty of leftovers. Would recommend for a nice celebratory dinner

We came here for lunch on a Friday. While waiting for our table, we stepped outside and took some pictures with the ocean view, which was the highlight of this place. We ordered the halibut taco with clam chowder and the Captain's Platter. The complimentary bread smelled wonderful and tasted delicious. The halibut taco was also excellent. I found the deep-fried items in the Captain's Platter a bit too dry. The service was great--our server was very friendly, efficient, and attentive. Overall, a great view and excellent service.

Anthonys at Edmonds is such a family 'classic' experience for me! As much as I appreciate all their other locations and the experience of dining there, Edmonds is familiar. If it's either their cafe or the Homeport, their scenic views, and access to the waterfront definitely adds to coming out here. We had an anniversary celebration here, where they were featuring strawberries within their menu this summer, which I really enjoyed last season & was looking forward to having again. The service was great, our waiter was helpful in the questions my parents had and was overall attentive during our visit.

What a great space! The interiors are really warm and inviting, with cozy nooks for seating and small elevation changes between terraces to break it up and make things feel a bit more intimate. Service was good as well, attentive, impressive plate-carrying capabilities, and humor regarding a slightly long wait time on a water refill. Glad we had a reservation. Food was great - items gotten with the group included the crab pasta, caesar salad, small steak, and black cod. All good choices. Asparagus and mashed potatoes that come with the steak were particularly good. And the sourdough bread is excellent!

Great view! There's lots of tables but make a reservation on the evenings because it was packed. Same with the parking lot. Servers were attentive and the cups were filled with water without having to flag the wait staff down. King crab was fresh and steamed nicely with a side of melted butter. Had some roasted potatoes with it. Was overall good. Chocolate lava cake was also good.

We hadn't been to Anthony's for years and finally went last month. It was so good we've already returned two more times. The drinks and food were delicious. Service was excellent. Restaurant has been in this location forever but is so well maintained it looks new. We'll be back soon!

Shrimp Cocktail with a fun twist - very tasty. The calamari was good. Not spectacular, but good.

Food: 4 stars Service: 4 stars Ambiance Inside: 3 stars Ambiance Outside/View: 4.5 stars Overall: 3.5 stars We dropped by for Happy Hour last May (2023). The appetizers were creative with a fusion flare. We settled for an ales and a few glasses of wine. Happy Hour Prices were reasonable for the setting. The service was good, although when we first arrived the dining area was virtually empty, but still it took them quite a few minutes to get us seated... Servers also seemed to me to have a little attitude, as if patrons were a bother, rather than the folks who pay their salaries. I've noticed this each of the handful of times I visited -- and, I've only very, very infrequently seen it anywhere else. The views are great, which gives this place great potential. However, at least as of May 2023, the inside is due for some renovation. This Anthony's has been in this location for quite a while and it's showing. Lastly, this place seems to almost always be busy, which may account for their not feeling they need to up their game (e.g., renovate, improve staff attitudes). Parking is limited and the lot is almost always full. We only visit on very off days/times at this point.

My mum and I came in for the Lobster special I ended up getting the Sunset Special. Ceasar salad clam chowders prawn and the Baileys mousse. Absolutely delicious! My mum had the lobster with rice. Was excellent as well, however a side salad or chowder would have been appreciated. Our waitress was delightful and did a wonderful job. She even met me at the elevator and said oh I didn't know you were leaving i would have said a good bye. Excellent touch! I'll be back

A little expensive for what you get. Nice ambience and location. What food we got was flavorful, especially Alaskan halibut plate.

Every single shop owner who we told that we were there for Proper Fish let us know that Proper Fish has the best fish & chips in the PNW. They also said they have other good things, but we had one mission. We got there a few minutes before they opened, order our fish & chips and were highly impressed. First of all, the fish portion was huge!! It was so light, crispy and flavorful. The tartar sauce was also delicious and I'm guessing house made. We also got an order of their fish chowder that did not disappoint. Bottom line: it is absolutely worth it to take a ferry to Bainbridge Island to have some fish & chips at Proper Fish. But since you're going, you may as well take some time to check out the shops. The folks are super friendly, and we found some fun stuff.

We only had two hours on the island, but Proper Fish was a must because of its reputation for London-style fish and chips with mushy peas. It didn't disappoint. You get one large piece of fish, crispy on the outside and moist and fresh inside. The chips were perfect, made from fresh-cut potatoes that came out crispy and well salted, and the mushy peas were a great authentic touch. There was already a small line for an early 11am lunch on a Monday, which tells you something about the following they have. The dining room seats about 40 comfortably, with outdoor tables adding room for roughly 20 more. Service was fast and efficient even with the line. As a fish and chips lover, I'd put this near the top of my list.

We wanted to try their fish and chips but they happen to serve Seafood gumbo on some days. I am a sucker for gumbo but most of the places outside of NOLA had let me down big time. So I hesitated. I decided to asked for a spoon of gumbo to sample before I order a cup. The young man at the counter started scooping a cup, yes, a real cup so I figured he heard me wrong. When I asked how much, he replied, free for you. Really?! Awesome!!! Now my husband and son's turn, ok, they ordered like there's no tomorrow and below is how I ranked them. Seafood Gumbo - OMG, other than a little saltier for my taste, it is on point. As good as it can get. Highly recommended. Clam chowder- not bad but gumbo was way better. Fried chicken- was alright. Crab puppies - yummy Fried calamari- tough and chewy Fishes - soggy way too dried Salmon - very light battered which were great but fish were dried. Way over fried. Shrimps - over fried and dried Clam strips - too dried Chips - all were soggy even though we asked for extra crispy. Slaw - crisp and tasty. I rather eat this than the soggy fries/chips. I would definitely return for the seafood gumbo and crab puppies.
