This restaurant is located in a beautiful area, and you are able to view two of Spokane's epic waterfalls. Make reservations! We were able to make reservations the day before, and we were able to get outdoor seats that had great views. The cocktails featured in-season huckleberries, and there were several choices. I selected the huckleberry mojito - tasty! For dinner, we started with the tempura green beans and the tomato salad (a caprese). The green beans had a fresh snap, and they were lightly tempura-coated. The salad had vine-ripened tomatoes and fresh mozzarella cheese lightly dressed in balsamic and olive oil. Delicious! There was also fresh bread and butter - totally perfect. For mains, I went with the halibut and chips, and my husband decided on the rockfish. These dishes were also spectacular! Mine also came with a fried Walla Walla onion. The fish was still moist but covered in a great crispy coating. Incredible! My husband's dish also had a great pineapple mango salsa that made it delightful. We coupled this with a flavorful Chardonnay. Giving three stars because the food was very good, wish I could say the same about the service. Took FOREVER to get served (drinks, appetizers and mostly main dish). Nobody in our party ordered dessert for fear how long it would take. Waitstaff was MIA a lot of the time, didn't come around to ask if we needed or even apologize for the length of time everything was taking. It wasn't till one of the party went to the bar to ask about the drinks did they finally arrive. May give another try if in the area, or maybe not. read more

We had anniversary dinner at Anthony's. We were greeted with anniversary wishes and a nice anniversary card on our table. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating. Food was okay. Started with coconut prawns. They were good. We both had a clam chowder. A bit heavy and over thick for me. I ordered the steak and crab cake. Hubby had the filet mignon. His 8 oz filet was really thin (usually it's a thick cut) especially for the price. He said Flavor was good, though, and it was tender. Came with a cornbread pudding, which he really enjoyed. Mine was suppose to come with rice pilaf, but had some plain potato wedges instead. They needed some topping. Very dry. The seasonal veggies looked like they were leftover from the previous night. Shriveled up Brussel sprouts and zucchini. Not very appetizing at all. For the price of our meal, it was a real let down. I feel it was not up to the standards of what I have had when dining at Anthony's before. read more

I went to Anthony's for lunch. Service was incredibly pleasant. I often post due to bad service, but in this case both servers were quite nice. Issue was the food. Caesar salad was average but the pan fried oysters were the worst culinary experience I have ever had. I left 5 of 8 and tasting something that felt like it was cooked at 9am, left on counter until my 1230 order, and then warmed under a heat lamp. The 15 fries I got were the only thing I could eat and the Cole slaw had a funk to it that made me turn away. It was so bad, I won't even eat I. The Seattle area locations. No texture to the pan fry, just a cool, oily mess. Feel bad for the servers for having to bring it out of the kitchen. Tomorrow I head back to Seattle and I will count Anthony's as a no go read more

Came here on a date, was really nice. We were seated by the window. The view is just amazing. I couldn't stop looking out the window, but it was too cold to sit outside lol. They do have their own parking lot, we didn't realize that and parked a block away... But as the night progressed, the parking lot ended up getting full, so there is reasonably close street parking if you can't get into the parking lot, just make sure you have coins to pay the meter. It's an old school meter. Wait time in between ordering and receiving your food is a little long, but they give you bowl of sourdough bread with butter. Nothing too special about that, except it comes out warm, so don't leave the towel open on the top!! I ordered the Wagyu Steak meal, and added the scampi shrimp, and had the chardonnay. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer, and he got the cod n' chips. The calamari was very nice and crispy. The lemon aioli was good as well, my date had never tried calamari before and he really liked this as well. I took the lemon slice it comes with and also drizzled the juice all over the calamari. Very good. Would order again. My Wagyu steak was amazing! The potatoes were soooo delicious as well as the veggies. Overall I gave my meal a 10/10. The shrimp scampi was also very delicious, you only get 3 but I feel like they were pretty decent sized, and I took the left over lemon slice from the calamari and squeezed some juice on the shrimp and oh my god, took it to a whole other level of amazingness! Would order again in a heart beat!! On the other hand, my dates meal was so sad... The cod had no flavor what so ever, very bland. Fries were also very bland, couldn't taste any salt.. Didn't even bother with the coleslaw, so I can't tell you about that. Not worth $18, in both of our opinions.. Lastly for desert, we got the melting chocolate cake. Made a reservation for a very important executive business dinner with clients. I had called a week before to add an extra guest and a note about what the dinner was regarding to ensure a smooth experience. Upon arrival no notes were in the system and the extra guest wasn't included but fine, they sat us at a nice table with a view and we worked it out. We were a table of 6 and Service was extremely slow. Initial Drinks took a very long time and they kept asking if we were celebrating a birthday which was awkward.... Food was good but very slow to come out and not all the plates came together which left some guests without food and others awkwardly waiting to eat while their meal sat cold. The servers kept telling us they are slow due to a banquet of a large group which bothered me because it's a poor excuse. They came and cleared the plates while I was still eating and left me awkwardly scrambling to finish as the host while my party had to watch me eat my meal. Our reservation was for 6 pm and at 9:30 we were still waiting around for the dessert and the evening just seemed to drag on... again being told multiple times because of the banquet. The view was nice and food ok but I was embarrassed by the service and wish I had chosen a different place for such an important dinner. read more

To begin with, Anthony's is a beautiful restaurant with a beautiful view. The valet parking, friendly service, and cleanliness are part of what you pay for when you come here, and it's absolutely worth it. Most of the food was simply good, but parts were great; my boyfriend loved his steak, and the mussels were absolutely amazing. The prices are a bit high but again, the experience is part of what you pay for. If you plan on having dinner here (which I would suggest for a date nice or special occasion), definitely make a reservation ahead of time, be prepared to spend a bit, be prepared for a moderate wait time for your food, and get the mussels!! read more

A two top that got the window seat next to us, was seated 20 min after us ate and left before we had our food. Venue: Toddler crying and making a scene behind us, twenty something drunk 3 top of girls making a scene. The view is beautiful. The food is okay. Not worth the money in my opinion. Portions are small. I had the steak- it wasn't great. Potatoes were cold and hard. My fiancé got the seafood pasta and it came with maybe 3 shrimp and two little clams or whatever they are. The peach cheesecake was really good though. Overall I wouldn't come back. Ok, let's start with the service. Top notch tonight, not too much, not to little. Everyone was on task and doing a great job. Everyone was friendly even under masks and ready to make it a very nice night for us while keeping it Covid safe. Food - the pictures tell part of the story, presentation was very good and everything looked fresh and appetizing. Flavor was good in all cases, lightly sweet and my only nit pick was that there were peaches in almost everything. Of course it's fresh peach season so that explains it but maybe a little too much of a good thing? Again, a nit pick. Salads were very tasty, fresh with light peach dressing. Prawns were very good as well as my chowder. Halibut was excellent, again with a peach salsa. Scampi with a side of... you guessed it peaches. Clams did NOT have peaches thankfully but were also very good. Fresh sourdough bread was a winner, you would be amazed at how many restaurants screw this very simple but important point up. If your going to serve bread, serve really good fresh bread- it's not that hard and it really adds to the dinner experience. We started off with their seasonal end-of-summer cocktail which was a Fresh Peach Hard Lemonade with local peaches and vodka. Then we had the Oregon Coast Shrimp and Artichoke Dip appetizer, Bread and Butter, and Caesar Salad, Garlic Butter Prawns, King Salmon, Seafood Fettuccini, and Chocolate Mousse. While visiting my grandma, we took her out to Anthony's for her 90th birthday celebration. I was not expecting the beautiful view of the waterfall in such a quiet and serene area near downtown Spokane. The food and drinks ordered were really tasty. No complaints there. The real star of the entire dining experience was our sever Clark. He was extremely friendly and attentive. You can tell he really loves customer service and interacting with people. We sat for almost 3 hours and not once felt rushed. Clark was just exceptional! I'm not sure the next time I'll be in Spokane but I'll definitely recommend Anthony's to anyone I know visiting. read more

Spokane lacks substantial seafood options, but Anthony's proved to be a pleasant choice for my recent birthday. I give you a review, in menu form: Appetizer - Their drink menu was surprisingly appetizing and affordable, and execution was spot on. Main Course - The food was all well executed. The actual seafood itself was top notch, with my alderwood salmon having an incredible amount of wood-fired flavor. My wife's seafood pasta also had a lot of depth to it, though the shrimp were tiny. And the clam chowder was fantastic - thick, flavorful, and full of seafood. My only complaint would be that the sides lack creativity and do not match the depth of flavor that the seafood has. Still well executed for what it was, but could be spruced up a bit. Dessert - There's no hiding from it: the view is worth your dollar on it's own and is probably the main draw. One of the best restaurant views you'll ever get. We're excited to come back, even for just a bowl of chowder and a drink at the bar. Staff was really nice, truly caring and occasionally apologized for delays (which weren't that bad anyway). And that view...it's the real deal. read more

We reserved a table last minute on a weeknight and had no problem getting a spot. The view of the waterfall was beautiful. We ordered a nojito, calamari and smoked salmon fettuccine. I appreciated that they split our dish for us as we were sharing. We loved the calamari and the drink but the smoked salmon fettuccine taste a bit bland and also was sitting in a lot of oil. The service is "ok" maybe even a little slow to be honest. The food was cooked perfectly but lacked enough flavor for either of us. We had the clams for an appetizer. I ordered the scallops and asked for mashed potatoes with them but didn't get them for some reason.. my husband ordered the halibut and ended up putting the butter we got for our bread on it. I'll be honest: I was a little skeptical of Anthony's before our visit. I was expecting pretty average food in a restaurant in a great location overlooking the falls. Maybe because of those low expectations, I was pleasantly surprised. I had the rockfish taco, which was pretty average. Ditto with the chowder that came with it. My mom's salad was also pretty standard and average. My wife's poke bowl, however, was great. 4 stars due to the poke bowl, very friendly and efficient service, and great location. The server was sweet, but she knew nothing about the wine menu and not much more about the actual menu. I don't think she'd eaten anything there, and I can't say I blame her. Every time I come to Spokane I always make sure to stop by Anthony's. It has reasonable prices, AMAZING views and good service. They don't try to do much, with only 3 page menu which I APPRECIATE!!! Be awesome with a few items vs being average with a lot of items. I always get the salmon tacos, clam chowder (it's amazing says this guy from Boston), and one of their ales. It gets a bit cold inside with the AC so bring a jacket. If you haven't, try to get a seat outside at least once for the view. Thanks!!! read more

Visited Wednesday 12/27/2023 We had the sunset abbreviated menu. The 3 course I chose was the clam chowder which was quite good. The salmon & shrimp main course was poor the salmon was dry totally flavorless with no sauce or added flavoring I could detect. It came with perhaps a dozen small salad shrimp that were embarrassing to say the least. My wife had the Caesar salad that was good . Her main course the London Broil had some flavor but was very tough the good news again was the small portion. We had a lemonade and a hot tea. The bill with 20% gratuity for good service from Amy was $99.00. This was the most I have ever paid for small portions and mediocre quality food. Not sure if I will try them again or not. read more
