Anthony's has sadly gone quite downhill in the flavor department. The view was lovely as usual and the customer service was good but neither were enough to justify the price we spent (only food could justify imo). We chose to do an appetizer - the pan fried oysters and they were just so slimy :( I usually love all oysters but they really should have pat them down before breading them. We received five and only ate one each because we couldn't manage eating any additional. I ordered a "Strawberry basil mojito"... that was the furthest thing from a mojito and more like a margarita that was very sugary and full of seeds - usually I love seeds but there was so many that I was chewying everytime time I took a sip. When it came to dinner I chose to stick with their clam chowder. It was pretty good, just a very small portion for $13 - I thought they brought out a cup but I fact was the bowl I ordered.. My boyfriend ordered the New York steak and garlic shrimp. We were told the NY steak was their best in house... both the shrimp and steak were flavorless. The shrimp (you get 2 or 3 for $12) were over cooked and tough so that even after dousing them in butter you couldn't taste a thing. The steak, which was $32, was one of the most flavorless I've had in a hot minute... the seasoning brought no flavor whatsoever nor the steak on its own. The mashed potatoes cooled on the plate as they were firm when they got to us so the only semi-tasty thing on the plate were the chopped zucchinis and squash. All in all, I chose to give them a 1 because the view was pretty, the customer service wasn't bad, and they had some pretty good bread but their food was a real let down for the price point. I personally wouldn't recommend coming to drop a pretty penny on mediocre food :( . We left with $114 tab only for the complimentary bread and the single scoop of chowder being the only editable things :/ read more

We had a stellar view of the falls and made it just on time for the sunset dining menu. My red meat was over cooked and too tough to finish so in the future would ask for it not to be on the chewy side! It's a great spot if you're visiting Spokane and want a tourist view for sure. read more

We were hesitant to try Anthony's based on recent reviews but we had a great dinner date here! The service was friendly and fast and the food was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious! We would definitely recommend a dinner here. The views were beautiful from the entire dining room so there isn't much reason to wait for a table directly next to the window. I went in with higher expectations. The location is beautiful, we had a window overlooking the falls, which I loved! We went for the sunset dinner, and I ordered the oysters for the appetizer. Yes, this dinner was just $30.00, and I realize that you get what you pay for, but it was 2 oysters TWO! I thought something was wrong, I assumed the appetizer oysters would be a half dozen, I was obviously disappointed, and wished I had ordered another appetizer, they were also very small oysters, coming from Tucson, I was truly hoping for some good seafood up here in the pacific northwest. The entree was shrimp with steelhead trout. The shrimp were tiny, what looked like pre frozen popcorn shrimp???? I was so looking forward to good seafood and that just didn't happen. The trout was ok, the rice was good, but strange in the fact that there were raisins in it. I had a lovely glass of Willamette Valley wine, the creme Brulee was fine, tasted fine, even though the torching was strange. Who knew Spokane had falls? Not me! A friend raved about the view of the river and falls from Anthony's dining room, so I had to investigate. He was not wrong. The Spokane river has some amazing falls and Anthony's has a world class view overlooking them. Washington State is still under mask and capacity restrictions. But we got in early and had a great table with a wonderful view. Our waitress was friendly, helpful and fun. A good selection of craft beer was to be had along with a simple, but elegant menu. Our group tried several different things including, fish and chips, fried oysters, crab cakes and more. Everything was really tasty. We had a lovely anniversary dinner. The drinks were on point. Loved the clam chowder and crab cakes. Scallops small plate was perfect, there were about 8 small on the plate which was more than enough. We had the chocolate lava cake for dessert, not the greatest, not much flour but the experience was fun. Had an amazing view from our table. This restaurant is located in a beautiful area, and you are able to view two of Spokane's epic waterfalls. Make reservations! We were able to make reservations the day before, and we were able to get outdoor seats that had great views. The cocktails featured in-season huckleberries, and there were several choices. I selected the huckleberry mojito - tasty! For dinner, we started with the tempura green beans and the tomato salad (a caprese). The green beans had a fresh snap, and they were lightly tempura-coated. The salad had vine-ripened tomatoes and fresh mozzarella cheese lightly dressed in balsamic and olive oil. Delicious! There was also fresh bread and butter - totally perfect. For mains, I went with the halibut and chips, and my husband decided on the rockfish. These dishes were also spectacular! Mine also came with a fried Walla Walla onion. The fish was still moist but covered in a great crispy coating. Incredible! My husband's dish also had a great pineapple mango salsa that made it delightful. We coupled this with a flavorful Chardonnay. It was our anniversary. Growing up in Seattle, many years ago, I always loved the original Anthony's home port. I had a really high expectation for this special night. We were seated by the window which was cool. The server was A+. Ordered two appetizers. The Dungeness Crab Stack - Absolutely delicious. In my mind, the word "Stack" led me to assume the portion would be larger. That's on me. Steamed Manila Clams - Good but nothing special. I was very happy I had access to sourdough bread and butter. Always great to dip in the juice. For dinner I had the Seafood Chop Chop salad with the Louie dressing. Was amazing. My gal ordered the Australian Rock Lobster Tail - Huge disappointment. I imagined it would be larger. It was overcooked. Tough and not juicy. The side was dry rice, 9 pieces of corn sold as succotash, green beans and maybe raisins. This was not a $75 dish in any way. Won't ever be back to this location when it was all about my gal who received a less-than dinner. On a side note, I have went out for many birthdays, anny's and special occasions. We received a card. Giving three stars because the food was very good, wish I could say the same about the service. Took FOREVER to get served (drinks, appetizers and mostly main dish). Nobody in our party ordered dessert for fear how long it would take. Waitstaff was MIA a lot of the time, didn't come around to ask if we needed or even apologize for the length of time everything was taking. Came here on a date, was really nice. We were seated by the window. The view is just amazing. I couldn't stop looking out the window, but it was too cold to sit outside lol. They do have their own parking lot, we didn't realize that and parked a block away... But as the night progressed, the parking lot ended up getting full, so there is reasonably close street parking if you can't get into the parking lot, just make sure you have coins to pay the meter. It's an old school meter. Wait time in between ordering and receiving your food is a little long, but they give you bowl of sourdough bread with butter. Nothing too special about that, except it comes out warm, so don't leave the towel open on the top!! I ordered the Wagyu Steak meal, and added the scampi shrimp, and had the chardonnay. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer, and he got the cod n' chips. The calamari was very nice and crispy. The lemon aioli was good as well, my date had never tried calamari before and he really liked this as well. I took the lemon slice it comes with and also drizzled the juice all over the calamari. Very good. Would order again. My Wagyu steak was amazing! The potatoes were soooo delicious as well as the veggies. Overall I gave my meal a 10/10. The shrimp scampi was also very delicious, you only get 3 but I feel like they were pretty decent sized, and I took the left over lemon slice from the calamari and squeezed some juice on the shrimp and oh my god, took it to a whole other level of amazingness! Would order again in a heart beat!! On the other hand, my dates meal was so sad... The cod had no flavor what so ever, very bland. Fries were also very bland, couldn't taste any salt.. Didn't even bother with the coleslaw, so I can't tell you about that. Not worth $18, in both of our opinions.. Lastly for desert, we got the melting chocolate cake. We had anniversary dinner at Anthony's. We were greeted with anniversary wishes and a nice anniversary card on our table. The waiter was very friendly and accommodating. Food was okay. Started with coconut prawns. They were good. We both had a clam chowder. A bit heavy and over thick for me. I ordered the steak and crab cake. Hubby had the filet mignon. His 8 oz filet was really thin (usually it's a thick cut) especially for the price. He said Flavor was good, though, and it was tender. Came with a cornbread pudding, which he really enjoyed. Mine was suppose to come with rice pilaf, but had some plain potato wedges instead. They needed some topping. Very dry. The seasonal veggies looked like they were leftover from the previous night. Shriveled up Brussel sprouts and zucchini. Not very appetizing at all. For the price of our meal, it was a real let down. To begin with, Anthony's is a beautiful restaurant with a beautiful view. The valet parking, friendly service, and cleanliness are part of what you pay for when you come here, and it's absolutely worth it. Most of the food was simply good, but parts were great; my boyfriend loved his steak, and the mussels were absolutely amazing. The prices are a bit high but again, the experience is part of what you pay for. If you plan on having dinner here (which I would suggest for a date nice or special occasion), definitely make a reservation ahead of time, be prepared to spend a bit, be prepared for a moderate wait time for your food, and get the mussels!! read more

Ok, let's start with the service. Top notch tonight, not too much, not to little. Everyone was on task and doing a great job. Everyone was friendly even under masks and ready to make it a very nice night for us while keeping it Covid safe. Food - the pictures tell part of the story, presentation was very good and everything looked fresh and appetizing. Flavor was good in all cases, lightly sweet and my only nit pick was that there were peaches in almost everything. Of course it's fresh peach season so that explains it but maybe a little too much of a good thing? Again, a nit pick. Salads were very tasty, fresh with light peach dressing. Prawns were very good as well as my chowder. Halibut was excellent, again with a peach salsa. Scampi with a side of... you guessed it peaches. Clams did NOT have peaches thankfully but were also very good. Fresh sourdough bread was a winner, you would be amazed at how many restaurants screw this very simple but important point up. If your going to serve bread, serve really good fresh bread- it's not that hard and it really adds to the dinner experience. My fiancé got the seafood pasta and it came with maybe 3 shrimp and two little clams or whatever they are. The peach cheesecake was really good though. Overall I wouldn't come back. A two top that got the window seat next to us, was seated 20 min after us ate and left before we had our food. Spokane lacks substantial seafood options, but Anthony's proved to be a pleasant choice for my recent birthday. I give you a review, in menu form: Appetizer - Their drink menu was surprisingly appetizing and affordable, and execution was spot on. Main Course - The food was all well executed. The actual seafood itself was top notch, with my alderwood salmon having an incredible amount of wood-fired flavor. My wife's seafood pasta also had a lot of depth to it, though the shrimp were tiny. And the clam chowder was fantastic - thick, flavorful, and full of seafood. My only complaint would be that the sides lack creativity and do not match the depth of flavor that the seafood has. Still well executed for what it was, but could be spruced up a bit. Dessert - There's no hiding from it: the view is worth your dollar on it's own and is probably the main draw. One of the best restaurant views you'll ever get. We're excited to come back, even for just a bowl of chowder and a drink at the bar. Staff was really nice, truly caring and occasionally apologized for delays (which weren't that bad anyway). And that view...it's the real deal. read more

Made a reservation for a very important executive business dinner with clients. I had called a week before to add an extra guest and a note about what the dinner was regarding to ensure a smooth experience. Upon arrival no notes were in the system and the extra guest wasn't included but fine, they sat us at a nice table with a view and we worked it out. We were a table of 6 and Service was extremely slow. Initial Drinks took a very long time and they kept asking if we were celebrating a birthday which was awkward.... Food was good but very slow to come out and not all the plates came together which left some guests without food and others awkwardly waiting to eat while their meal sat cold. The servers kept telling us they are slow due to a banquet of a large group which bothered me because it's a poor excuse. They came and cleared the plates while I was still eating and left me awkwardly scrambling to finish as the host while my party had to watch me eat my meal. Our reservation was for 6 pm and at 9:30 we were still waiting around for the dessert and the evening just seemed to drag on... again being told multiple times because of the banquet. The view was nice and food ok but I was embarrassed by the service and wish I had chosen a different place for such an important dinner. read more

Anthony's is one my top three favorite restaurants in Spokane, and everything from the food to the view is an amazing experience. We started off with their seasonal end-of-summer cocktail which was a Fresh Peach Hard Lemonade with local peaches and vodka. Then we had the Oregon Coast Shrimp and Artichoke Dip appetizer, Bread and Butter, and Caesar Salad, Garlic Butter Prawns, King Salmon, Seafood Fettuccini, and Chocolate Mousse. Everything was truly amazing. They pick up fresh fish from the airport three times a week, and the King Salmon was a special of the week! read more

I went to Anthony's for lunch. Service was incredibly pleasant. I often post due to bad service, but in this case both servers were quite nice. Issue was the food. Caesar salad was average but the pan fried oysters were the worst culinary experience I have ever had. I left 5 of 8 and tasting something that felt like it was cooked at 9am, left on counter until my 1230 order, and then warmed under a heat lamp. The 15 fries I got were the only thing I could eat and the Cole slaw had a funk to it that made me turn away. It was so bad, I won't even eat I. The Seattle area locations. No texture to the pan fry, just a cool, oily mess. Feel bad for the servers for having to bring it out of the kitchen. Tomorrow I head back to Seattle and I will count Anthony's as a no go read more
