Tim is amazing. There was a large group of us in town for work. It's hard to go there without asking for him. The food is so amazing. The oyster shooters are out of this world. Not sure what fresh herbs they add in the shot glass but they are to die for. I rushed over to get one more order of shooters before driving to the airport in Seattle. We were here for Mother's Day, reservations were handled by OpenTable - I have never had an issue with them and cancelations and changes are easy. We were running a little late so I dropped my wife off and went to find parking. When I arrived to the hostess she was already seated. We had a great server, Tamika. She was friendly, upbeat, informative and appropriately attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. We ordered brunch: Eggs Benedict and the San Juan Scramble. My wife said the Eggs Benedict were the best she ever had. It was simple, but each element was prepared to perfection and the combination was delicious. I would agree but that is based on the one bite I was allowed! My scramble was great. Perfectly cooked eggs, bacon, and potatoes. Our plates were both clean. We didn't get pictures, but our plates looked just like the pictures on their brunch menu online. What a great start to our day! Parking is usually not a problem, but today parking in the garage one level below the restaurant was a little tight. read more

There is free parking in the garage as long as it is under 2 hours. We are celebrating our 44th anniversary today and this place was the perfect spot for wine and small bites. I have eaten here many times and each time they hit it out of the park. I have tried almost every item on their lunch menu and most of their dinner menu as well and the quality is always excellent due to the great kitchen professionals. Also, their front of the house staff starting with the young hostesses, waitresses and waiters are always so welcoming and friendly, especially Deaira and Tim, that it is always a pleasure to walk in. Ordered the Alder plank salmon - soooo incredibly flavorful, flaky and juicy! Substituted the side for plain jasmine rice since they do not have mashed potatoes until dinner. Everything was cooked perfectly! The light burr blank sauce over the top paired perfectly with the fish. Not pictured: split Cesar salad, which was also very good! If you are in the Seattle area, don't miss this stop! Seats face out towards the water looking at the Bremerton Ferry arrive and depart. Service was very friendly, responsive and open to substitutions to meet dietary restrictions. Highly recommend!! Pro trips: Parking can be a little tricky - there are a lot of one way streets. We were on the hunt for a weekend happy hour spot (a rare gem), and saw that Anthony's offers daily HH. Yes, even weekends. Cue excitement. We parked in their garage (huge plus -- no circling for street parking) and walked into a beautiful dining room with full marina views. We were seated in the main area and got cozy... until we asked for the happy hour menu and were told -- plot twist -- happy hour is only available in the bar. Would've been nice if someone mentioned that upfront, but hey, we regrouped, grabbed our menus, and headed to the bar like confused but determined tourists. Bar area still had a view (just slightly downgraded from "dreamy" to "decent") and we were ready to eat. Tried to sample a beer on the HH menu but were told no samples during happy hour -- a little surprising, but we took the gamble. It was okay, but yeah... a sample would've saved us that bet. Then came the food -- and it was GOOD. * The bar burger (lettuce-wrapped, double patty, bacon, cheese) was juicy and well-seasoned * Clam chowder was creamy and generously full of clams * The Caesar salad was classic, crisp, and super refreshing * The bang bang chicken had a solid kick and was nice and tender * And the cheese curds? Not fried (unexpected) but still melty and tasty -- a little lighter, which we didn't mind! Food took a bit of time, but the flavors made up for it. I came here for a quick lunch on Thursday. I tried the claw chowder and pan fried oysters with chips. The clam chowder was one of the best clam chowder I've had. The pan fried oysters were okay though. I wished the fries were crispier. The view of the restaurant was beautiful since it's by the water. The service was okay. A friend and I decided to frequent this place while on a joint business trip that happened to coincide with his 61st birthday. He had been in the mood to find a spot that offered Dungeness crab and I knew from a previous visit that Anthony's would be a good bet! He ordered a steak Oscar and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had a bowl of the chowder and the best fish & chips I've ever had to date! It was a special using Lingcod and besides the fish itself being delicious, Anthony's batter was what really sealed the deal! Our server was very nice and attentive, even having so many tables in such crowded restaurant, she expertly ensured we had everything we needed to make our meal epic! The restaurant is situated at the mouth of Sinclair Inlet right next to the Washington Ferry landing offering amazing views of the incoming/outgoing ferries, surrounding water, Port Orchard and Annapolis across the water. There's a parking garage on 2nd street with an elevator that takes you right up to and inside the restaurant. Enjoy! read more

Yes, the food is good, and yes they are incredibly expensive. I can over look that if the food is good and the service and ambiance is good. Unfortunately, the service could have been better. Most restaurants, especially high end restaurants, will make some small gesture if they know that there is a special occasion being celebrated... anniversaries, birthdays, etc. Even something as small as a little scoop of sorbet or ice cream. One of our go-to restaurants here in Kitsap County...and one of only a few "high end" dining establishments outside of Bainbridge. My wife and I came here again for New Year's Eve. Service was excellent as usual, though quite slow in comparison to our previous visits. It wasn't our server; it was the kitchen staff getting our food to us in a timely manner. I half expected to hear Gordon Ramsay yell "Hurry up and get this food out to the tables!" I was bummed to find they raised the cost of wine corkage fees from $15 to $20. And why? They're not doing anything different than all the other times I've brought my own wine! Has the price of glasses or the corkscrew gone up? I find it ridiculous. Lower the markup on your wines and I might start ordering from your wine list. I've been collecting wine for 50+ years and wine markup in restaurants drives me NUTS! We started with a couple of Crab Cracker drinks ($12.50 ea.). I enjoyed mine a bit; my wife wasn't impressed. We both wondered, "Where's the tequila?"...couldn't taste it. Our drinks accompanied an appetizer of their Crispy Calamari (an incredible $21.00!). We've ordered this many times as the price has continued to climb. Crispy indeed, but it seems to be more coating than calamari anymore. For dinner, my wife had the Planked Silver Salmon with Red Pepper Beurre Blanc ($36) and I had the Swordfish with Mushroom Ragout & Risotto ($46). Our two dinners were the highlight of the evening. Both came with broccolini that was a welcomed sight, but just a tad too crisp/chewy for me. Steamed just a few minutes longer would have been perfect. Celebrating my wife's birthday with out of town friends on a beautiful Saturday. I put in a request to be seated by a window weeks before and that is what we received. If I was the manager I would probably encourage a more thorough cleaning of chairs, window sill and floor that had food and crumbs on them. Service was fine, our waitress was very friendly and welcoming. I would want her to work for me if I had a restaurant. Appetizers were crab dip and bread which was good. I had a watery peach special cocktail and my wife's cocktail was great. Meals were grilled halibut, seafood pasta, and burger .... all of it was fine. Good flavors and simple execution of the dishes. My wife got a tasty dessert for her bday and again our server was very friendly. That allowed us to sit and talk for a long time without interruption which was appreciated. The view is nice, but Anthony's prices aren't anything to write home about, so we tend to stick to their early bird dinners. But the early bird dinners are getting pricey as well. Used to be in the low $20's, now it's $35 for appetizer, entree, dessert. We had dinner there last night. We both had caesar salad, sirloin steak, creme brûlée, all of which have been good in the past. The salad, which used to be nicely presented, was a mess, dressed lettuce thrown in a bowl, an excess of cheese grated on top, and a single crouton hiding underneath. The entree and vegetables were under seasoned. My steak was supposed to be medium rare, and was medium well. The creme brûlée came right out of the cooler, complete with a soggy sugar "crust" on top. How long would it take to sprinkle some sugar and hit it with a torch? Ten seconds? They charge substantially more for their by-the-glass wine selection the I could buy the entire bottle for, so I usually stick to beer, and that was reasonably priced and pretty good. So is the complimentary bread and butter. Waiter was enthusiastic but inexperienced. read more

What a great spot. My favorite Anthony's so far. Had the pleasure of taking the foot ferry over and it's just a hop skip and a jump up from the dock in the much renovated and renewed Bremerton ferry pier area. Very impressive. Everyone inside was friendly, the space is airy with - of course - a spectacular view of the water and the harbor. On top of this, every single thing we ordered was delicious and prepared and presented with total consistency. My lunch companion insisted we try the mousse for dessert and for sure it is a wonderful choice. Others had the creme brulee cheesecake and mouths were watering. I always get the clam chowder if I have the chance - every place makes it a tiny bit different; I like this one. Highly recommend if you want a relaxed meal, or a special event meal, or just for no reason but to enjoy the great food, great service, and great ambience. read more

I had the rock fish which was excellent and the special custard desert after tip and tax 42.00 a bit pricey but nice restaurant, nice atmosphere and I had a very nice server. We enjoy all the Anthony's restaurant, but like Bremerton best. This time I had the halibut fish and chips which were lightly battered and perfectly fried. The french fries are crisp and tasty. The f/c also comes with a small slaw seasoned with a "oriental" style dressing that I liked. My GF had the fried oysters. She likes a light batter and they do them well. It's her go-to there. Her son also had the f/c. No dark beer on tap, unfortunately, but the manhattan was great. Our waiter, Sean Michael (sp), was spot on. When we arrived, he was busy but stopped and assured us he'd be right with us. That extra bit of effort on his part makes a little wait MUCH more bearable. We enjoyed our food and watched the ferries ply back and forth to Seattle. A great evening. Not cheap at $180 that included three drinks, but worth the money. Just fyi, you'll park in the garage attached to the building and take the elevator up one floor. No charge for parking. read more

I was completely blown away. We ordered the sunset dinner which came with calamari, salmon duet,which also had shrimp,and burnt creme,which I assume is creme Bru le. All were outstanding. But my sister ordered the crab cakes also pictured which has ruined me for any other crab cake in the world. Literally ,the best I've ever had, and could possibly imagine ever having. The view was nice. The cocktail was good. I ordered the most expensive dish: Steak and Lobster. The steak was not great, you can certainly get better at Outback. The lobster finally came after I was nearly done with my steak. Multiple people interrupted my meal to tell me how sorry they were... if rather you just tell me once and discount the meal - which they did not do. I called in an order for a piece of cheesecake, something that I have ordered multiple times. The piece of cheesecake was for my mom's 78th birthday and she really likes it. Was looking for a nice seafood restaurant in Bremerton and Anthony's was walking distance from our hotel. They were fairly empty on a rainy Monday night and we were seated right away. The food was quite good and the sides were perfect compliments to the main course. I had the king Salmon with beans and mashed potatoes. It's been a long time since I've come here. The Bremerton ferries are running pretty rarely these days. If you missed your boat and don't feel like driving around, there are a few things you can do while you wait. This place is one of them. Before you go, just expect that the meat and fish will be over cooked. I.e. the fish will be super dry. That said, otherwise, it's actually pretty good! I suggest choosing something served with a salsa or a sauce that interests you, and use it liberally. The restaurant has a decent view and the decor is very marine themed and color schemed with fish prints but it didn't bother me. Service was attentive, kind and made extra effort to answer allergy related questions. A++ read more

It's a beautiful restaurant, overlooking the water, and the ambience was terrific. Our waiter, forgot his name, but he was really really good. My husband and I both did the three 433 deal and I had petite steak with potatoes and broccoli, Caesar salad and crème brûlée for dessert and mine was really good. My husband had the, what they called prawns, but we're very small shrimp with rice, pilaf, and broccoli And clam chowder and also crème brûlée. His dish was very unsatisfactory, should have told the waiter but don't usually like to do that. They were very, very small and only a few, not worth it. read more
