We were surprised at how fast the food came out in under 5 minutes. We ordered the chicken katsu curry ramen and the chicken ramen. The curry was delicious and a popular hit. However the chicken in the ramen, which was recommended to us by the staff member, was bland and not so good, and it didn't have good flavor so it made the ramen not great either. The noodles were fresh though. The orange juice and coffee were also pretty good. Overall we really enjoyed most of food here and this is a great place for groups of people who are trying to make the next ferry given the efficiency of the food preparation.

First off, towards the beginning of the year, when we tried to call in orders, they had changed their number, and when you looked it up, it came up as a completely different name: "Taqueria Mucho." There was no explanation, it still said Birrieria Tijuana on the building, and there was no mention of any changes. Over the summer, they weren't even staying open their advertised hours, although that seems to have been resolved. Also, you used to get lots of onions, limes, and sauces to go with your tacos, but even that has changed for the worse. Last time, we ordered 12 tacos and got two bags of onions and limes. Each bag is good for about two tacos. This time, just one bag for 10 tacos, and the limes have definitely seen better days. I understand if they felt they were wasting food and wanted to changed the portions, but then communicate. I get not everyone eats them. I personally don't need 5. I'd have been fine with 2 or 3 bags, but not 1. Then, they tie the takeout bags off, so you can't check your order. Nothing is worse than getting home to find out you don't have onions. Certainly not driving 10-15 mins each way to go back and have cold food. The other taco place I go to asks you each time how many salsas you want and gives you exactly that many. Would be pretty easy to do that here. Furthermore, they now use to-go containers that don't breathe, so I got home to 10 soggy tacos that cost over $50. Maybe they ended up with the wrong ones from a vendor, but then take a few minutes to cut holes in like other places do. I get it, times are tough in the restaurant industry, but $50 for soggy tacos, barely any onions, and no limes doesn't make me want to spend money here.

Zen Ramen is a fantastic new addition to the neighborhood. They've completely transformed the old Hi-Lo Cafe into a cozy Japanese eatery with a charming vibe and minimalist decor. There are just two outdoor tables and around ten inside, which adds to its intimate, tucked-away feel. One standout feature is the screen inside playing a walkthrough of a Japanese city, giving the space a transportive, cultural atmosphere that elevates the whole dining experience. The food is excellent! Flavorful, satisfying, and clearly prepared with care. The service is warm and attentive, and everything arrives promptly. Just note that they don't allow substitutions, and any extras need to be added separately to your order, which they explain clearly. Zen Ramen is definitely worth a visit if you're looking for thoughtfully made Japanese fare in a setting that feels both local and far away. read more

I didn't know this place existed until I saw looking for hire on Facebook and instantly went to see where this place was. Upon figuring this out immediately went here once done with college and, I was not let down sushi burritos are excellent as always firecracker burrito is still my number one. Definitely will be coming back place is nice outside seating. People are very friendly. Now all I need is a boba place with some fruit tea. 10 out of 10 will come again. read more
