Have the best food! There is a reason they have been around for this many years while EVERYWHERE else has gone out of business. I have been eating there whenever I am in the area -- for many years! Great delicious food and it's worth the price. The people are great and the it's clean and tidy! Highly recommend read more

Small mom and pop restaurant in Bremerton. Service was good, our male waiter had lots of energy. Food was so so, I really love meatjun but this one in particular wasn't a hit. Banchans had the same sauce on mostly all the items. I do like variety, it had variety but that was killed when all the sauces were the same on side dishes. Would try it again in the future to give it another shot. read more

I've always loved the food here. I did a review many years ago and my mind has not changed about how good this place is. It's got a little bit of a rundown feeling when you're eating inside of the restaurant but the food is hot and good. I'd love that they have a very extensive menu, even though things are really a variation on the theme. The banchon are good. I'll keep coming back. read more

I did not love or hate this place. It was very in the middle for me. The restaurant is very mom & pop, decorated to the owners personal liking I'm sure. Makes you feel like you walked into your Korean aunties dining room. The staff seemed really busy. They were not rude at all but I wouldn't use the word friendly. Because they were attentive I cannot say it mattered much to me. You don't have to be my best friend and while friendliness is appreciated, I'd much rather have someone who checks in more often to refill drinks and such like. The bibimbap was good. It's something that I believe is hard to mess up anyway. The teriyaki chicken was unfortunately pretty flavorless. I would possibly return if invited by a friend but I would never get the teriyaki again and stick to the popular Korean dishes. read more

A nice find! Good service and terrific portions. The bulgogi bibimbop was served in a stone bowl that perfectly crisped the rice. I loved the ability to choose the protein for the kimbop - Spam for the win! The BBQ combo of Kalbi ribs and spicy chicken was well done and chock full of flavor. The accompanying side dishes included Kimchee and many other traditional Korean sides. Price was quite fair given the size of portions. read more

There are very few options for Korean food in the Kitsap Peninsula so I appreciate getting my Korean food fix here. I tried their kalbi and spicy pork bulgogi which hit the spot when I am craving it. The banchan is not the most traditional but it is still good though. Service is a bit slow but otherwise good food! read more

Food was amazing! Portions were ample and we loved the small dishes of the assorted Kim chee and pickled vegetables. Server was efficient and made sure to check if we had any food allergies. Seating was well lit and comfortable. read more

Not as good as it used to be. No Kimchi with lunch and they charge you a 15% tip without asking. Will definitely not return.

Why 1 star? Simply the food here is just too damn expensive and the portions are small. Almost all the plates are $20+. A scoop of rice? $3.50! Mac salad? $6.50! Small ass banchan plate? $11.50! etc... AND they have the audacity to charge more for "Spicy". The taste is decent, But not worth the price. Also, the food may be fresh made to order, but you'll wait 20-30 minutes or more, and it seems like phone orders don't matter as it will still take the same amount of time. read more

Got the chicken wings and they were really good. I appreciate well done crispy wings and they delivered.

Absolutely love this place. The spicy chicken teriyaki is good and you can get it 1-5 stars spicy. Well worth getting the 5 stars. The macaroni salad is some of the best I have had. Highly recommend going to Suzy's and enjoying any of the food. read more

I imagine if I had a Korean grandma, this is the food she'd be making/servicing. Service was fast. And while the food wasn't the fanciest, everything was homemade and good. Simple banchan, and A LOT of food, they really don't mess around. You will not go home hungry! My only issue was that the spicy pork was not spicy enough. Not sure if they would have had gochujang on the side, or something else to spice it up. I'll ask next time. read more

Amazing food and the friendliest service! They were so sweet when a group of my friends and I got together to catch up and ended up staying waaaayy longer than anticipated. But they never made us feel like we needed to leave or rushed us out read more

Customer service sucks as well as the food. The guy/waiter/cashier who took my order was acting as if I came into the restaurant too soon when they opened their door, like he didn't want to work that day; not friendly at all. I ordered a Kalbi and the macaroni was bland, the short ribs were a bit tough, and dry and tasted like they could've marinated it longer. They could've used old short ribs for all I know. I'm def not coming back and will never recommend this so called Korean bbq restaurant. read more

I can not say enough good things about Suzy's kitchen! My family and I have been here numerous times and never left disappointed. The kimchi is AMAZING! It is an absolute must try! Omg, the bbq spicy pork ribs and bulgogi beef were so good! And unlimited veggie sides, delicious. But the staff, they were so friendly, upbeat and fun. Would definitely go back. read more

The food was good, although it took awhile to come out. We barely got checked on and had to grab our own takeout containers. On top of that only at the cash register when we paying for our bill does it say that there is an automatic 15% gratuity added for 5 or more people. I wouldn't have mind but we barely got service. read more

Suzy's is always my go to in Bremerton. The service is fantastic and the food is always tasty. Huge portions and worth the price.

Great food all the time!!! Although understaffed, they do their best to take care of their customers.

My new favorite spot! Not a lot of varieties out here in Bremerton except for fast food and chained restaurants so I was very HAPPY to have found this place. They have reasonable priced menu and their banchan (side dishes) are all very tasty, I asked for more and that rarely happens! The soon dubu (soup) was delicious and the meats were authentic tasting and yummy combo. They were busy but the service was still excellent. Hole in the wall but inside is kept very clean. read more

Suzy's is an unassuming Korean place in the middle of Bremerton. If you're visiting this area, or live on the peninsula, it should be a stop on your list. The service is amazing, homey, and comfortable. We had a great server who was very understanding of our dietary needs (my partner and I are vegan), and was able to point out solid vegan options for us to order. The food itself is a testament to the sometimes hidden diversity of the peninsula. Our Kimbap was fresh and flavorful. We had an AWESOME giant kimchi pancake that we ate too much of. The stars of the show were definitely the vegetable bibimbap and yuke'jang. The bibimbap was delicious and came out crackling and hot in the metal server. The soup was mild and earthy with a little spice. I'm sad I've only discovered this place after moving away, but I am excited to come back for a future visit! read more

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Bremerton. The food and the customer service are great. When my kids have hockey games in Bremerton, we always like to come here to get something to eat before the game. The restaurant itself is not fancy, but the food is decent. The price is reasonable with a good portion size. Everything is tasty. I haven't found anything that I can complain about. The customer service is wonderful. Everyone is super friendly. We always feel that we're welcomed. I look forward to visiting this place again. I highly recommend this place to everyone who is visiting Bremerton. read more

4 1/2 stars. Good restaurant in a nondescript little strip mall. Excellent quality Korean food, with ample appetizers as is customary. The evening we were there, the staff were extra busy, being short two people, but they did not grouse about it, they just worked extra hard. The hot bowl bibimbap was excellent as was the yakisoba. This place makes a LOT of to-go orders, so it took a bit of extra time for our orders to come out (about 1/2 hour) but they were worth the wait. We overheard the host letting people just walking in that because of the staff shortage, it would take about 45 minutes from the time they order until their food arrived. Not a pleasant thought, but again, understandable. read more

LOVE this place. The best Bibimbap we've ever had. They serve it in a hot bowl so the rice on the bottom gets crispy. Their selection of Banchan is really good too! We always make sure to frequent Suzy's kitchen when we're in Bremerton. read more

Meh. I have had so much better on South Tacoma Way in the International district. It IS Bremerton so the bar is pretty low. Service was friendly, but lacking 1. 30 minutes to get To Go food...at noon. 2. That is not Mandoo, those are basic Gyoza and even Gyoza (Japanese style) I have had better. 3. Kimchi soup - very disappointing. Not a lot of flavor, incredibly small portion for To Go and no substance.$16 for a soup can size portion of KimChi soup. Is it just me? I would say half of the places I order To Go from, you just know you would have had a better deal if you sat down. I really dislike small business who "punish" you for ordering To Go. If anything, we should be treated like Gold as we are not taking up your space by sitting. Will not be back. read more

Best restaurant in Bremerton. Hands down. That's saying a lot as I've never had Korean food before and there are many fine Hawaiian, Mediterranean, Tex-Mex, and East Asian restaurants in this town, and even a few good hamburger joints. But this is the best. read more

Im thousands miles away from my favorite yakisoba place and this spots satisfies me when I have those cravings.. which are often .. don't judge me lol . I'm vegan and I tried the tofu yakisoba last week and LOVED it I also liked the veggie egg rolls with the sweet chili sauce on the side . A pretty chill mom and pop place that comes in handy on those "don't feel like cooking " nights . A lotta places I've tried yakisoba ans it's been BLAND asf but theirs is pretty flavorful! 8/10 read more

This restaurant reminds me so much of the little Korean restaurants abundant in Seoul. The service isn't spectacular but that's normal, what I'm here for is the delicious and authentic food. Not to be missed is Dolsot Bibimbap (mixed rice) served in the authentic piping hot stone bowl. The secret is to let it sit a moment so the rice carmelizes in the bowl before stirring it up. Absolutely delicious! Even better with spicy Gochujang stirred. Comes with an abundance of Kimchi side dishes. read more

If you're from Hawaii, you know how hard it is to find meat jun on the mainland. After hearing about Suzy's Kitchen on a FB group, I thought I needed to try and boy am I glad I did! It felt like being back home in Hawaii. The meat jun was so flavorful and paired nicely with the dipping sauce, Mac salad, and white rice. Another must try, is their homemade mandoo! Everywhere else I've ordered mandoo, it was always the pre-frozen gyoza. Not the case at Suzy's! I will definitely be back and I can't wait to try more delicious dishes! read more

I was visiting my husband who is stationed out in Bremerton last October. Since it was my birthday, we went out for dinner craving Asian food. So we headed out to this quaint spot right off base. The waitress aka "Ate" was super sweet. We order the sampler, wings plus Korean short (galbi). The owner came out to let us know that the galbi was not gonna be marinated as usual but it tasted great regardless. Everything was delicious! I took one star off since they do not serve alcohol, beer or wine. We went on a Thursday evening so it was not busy at all, just two other parties. However, my husband stated that during the weekends, lines are out the door, wait time could be as long as an hour or so and there is also very limited parking available. My hubs loves this place and goes regularly. read more
