    Chicken teriyaki meal

Oh my goodness!! What a refreshing stop!! Couldn't decide on what/where do picked the new place by Fred Meyers! Eyes were surprised when we walked in as the whole restaurant had been made anew! Clean, fresh furniture, new flooring, new wall/section dividers, and greeted with a smile and a hello as soon as we came in. Menu is not complex, easy to choose from. We chose our meal, water cane quickly, and food cane out of kitchen amazingly fast!! Hubbs chose the pancake while I picked teriyaki chicken. Both were hot, smelled delicious and were very good!! Come check out the new hot spot in town! You will love it!!

This is a great place! Super clean, great menu, exceptional pho. They are very generous with the protein.

I like this restaurant! It's really nice inside. Clean and I liked the decor. Very luxe! Service was quick, server was nice. When we got there it wasn't too busy, but started picking up for dinner. About of to go and deliveries. Anywho, I ordered the bahn xeo (Vietnamese pancake) and my bf got the bo kho (beef stew). Both good! I enjoyed the Vietnamese pancake, it had a lot of chicken, and a decent amount of shrimp in it. I love to eat is as a wrap and dipped it in the fish sauce. I tried the beef stew broth and it was good! We make it at home and like homemade better but the beef and carrots were tender and the broth was good, so good choice when you don't want to cook a whole pot and clean up afterwards! Would love to come back again and try their bun bo hue!

Wow what a hidden gem.. connected to Fred Meyers building. This restaurant is huge with plenty of booths and tables. Clean too with cute decor. I ordered my usual vermicelli bowl and it came at a good size. I just took a star off due to service.. we just felt rushed and they could be more friendly. Other than that.. great place for Vietnamese food!

    Example of overcharging for condiments!
    Ryan ..

Hear me out, condiments shouldn't cost more than an appetizer. I ordered 3 menu items. I asked for extra hoisin sauce. She asked how many so I said ten packets. (These are small like McD's ketchup). Then she says "I have to charge you extra". I'm thinking fine, probably $0.50. Nope $8.19!!! So even if I get one free packet with each menu item, that's $1.17 a packet! A PACKET!?! For Hoisin sauce! I asked "can I just squeeze some on my meal from a bottle on the table instead"? "No, we don't allow that." But you allow it for the customers who sit down to eat??? Nice place, good food, absolutely HORRIBLE customer service! What is it with these places lately? Stop taking orders at 7:30 when they close at 8. Rude on the phone. Nickle'n'diming you on condiments. Vietnamese food used to be exciting, now it's almost always disappointing one way or another.

We dined in for dinner around 7:30pm. The food was delightful and the service was as expected. No issues with freshness. We ordered: Large special pho - great portion and ratio of noodles to meat, they have cilantro as a part of the garnishes, no tendon on the menu Bbq pork vermicelli - good portion of noodles but over whelming amount of bean sprouts, bbq pork was 5 stars, sauce was okay Vietnamese pancake - was good with the sauce, overwhelming amount of bean sprout, very crunchy egg, comes with pickled vegetables and lettuce Overall positive experience, enjoyed the cleanliness and aesthetic of the restaurant. One downfall may be that it can be easily missed if you're not looking for it!

I enjoyed the Bo Kho! Very fresh and hearty! The restaurant was very well up kept and clean. Warming conditions made it to be an enticing dining experience out this evening!

Generous serving of green papaya salad with plenty of grilled chicken and fresh vegetables and papaya.

We decided to check this new restaurant out and we're glad we did! Great ambience and friendly staff! The green papaya salad and vermicelli bowl were both delicious and reasonably priced. I will definitely be back!

Beef stock for the pho is well made without massive amount of MSG. Pork chop is cooked just right. Enormous portions. A gem indeed.

The restaurant was spotless, welcoming, and appeared to have been recently remodeled. Bringing a group of 19 people into a restaurant at noon could easily overwhelm the serving staff and the cooks, but that was absolutely not the case here. About half of our group wanted the traditional Korean BBQ experience, which included grill tables and cooking their own meats and vegetables, while the others preferred dishes prepared by the kitchen. The staff accommodated both without missing a beat. We were seated quickly, orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived surprisingly fast. And it was plentiful! There was only one server working the dining room, yet she handled everything efficiently, professionally, and with a smile. Every order was correct, and everyone felt well taken care of. The checks were presented and taken care of very quickly. Most importantly, the food was excellent. Every person in our group left happy, and many were already talking about returning with their families. It's rare to find a restaurant that can handle a group of 19 so smoothly while delivering great food and outstanding service. All 19 of us agreed: Seoul Korean BBQ earned a well-deserved 5-star rating. It was that good.

They know what they want and expect. You might be taken aback if that's not you. You probably should make a reservation. Parking is available in the lot next door but you must park in spots for the restaurant. Otherwise you'll get a big fine. You have to ask for a piece of paper to put in your car on the dashboard. You will be led to a table by a no nonsense person. Each table has a place for the pot filled with whichever soup you choose to cook your food in. Ordering is done on a iPad. Straight forward, again if you know what you're doing. Otherwise just ask questions and take your time. Choosing meats is simple. Pork and lamb are my favorite. Meats come sliced very thin and rolled up and placed on wooden rings that surround the hot pot. Good luck choosing the other items. Green vegetables, tofu, noodles, turnips and dried tofu rolls to name a few. I personally stay away from the coagulated pig blood. After you type in your order, go to the self serve bar. There are plates there if you don't already have them at your table. It's near the front with various salads and other snacky items, such as peanuts. Somethings to enjoy before the hot pot is ready. You also will concoct your own dipping sauce from the several choices of ingredients available. People usually combine four or five different kinds. You can always go back later and try different combinations. Also there are small cans of sesame oil that I like to add to my sauce. A server will bring the very hot pot of soup you asked for. Let it return to a boil. Using chopsticks pick up one or two rolls of meat and wave them around in the boiling soup for just a few seconds until the meat changes color to gray. Dip it in your sauce and eat. Repeat. Gradually the soup will take on flavor from all the meat you cook. Add some of this other things you ordered. I usually cook leafy greens and noodles later. Take your time. It seems like you are eating more than you actually are. Payment is at the end because you might choose to order more food to cook.

They told us they had happy hour after 9:00 PM with 31% off everything on the menu. Happy hour?! What a surprise! I thought they only had happy hour midday. I was recovering from a cold and soup sounded great, so we walked right in. The last time we were here was a year ago during our annual Seattle trip. The tomato soup is our favorite, but we decided to have that along with the gold chicken and fish maw soup this time. The fish maw soup is very collagen-rich and comforting to drink. We also ordered the beef sirloin slices, lamb shoulder, and pork belly, all of which were top quality. What I like about Haidilao is the variety of items you can use to make your own sauce. Each haidilao is different and even the menus are different. This one has a combo set menu which I was excited to try. The meat in set A was just... Bad. The brisket was way too fatty like 75% fat and not much lean meat. The lamb which I normally love was tough. And the pork was gamey. I was beside myself. Some things I expected because it was almost 9:00 p.m., such as the sauce bar and dessert bar running out of ingredients, but bad meat? Even worse, we got stomach problems this morning... The only saving grace was that the server was very apologetic and let us upgrade to set menu B. To meat there was... Acceptable. And yes, that includes the wagyu beef. Which shocks me because HL has been remarkably consistent for me, and the wagyu at Cupertino or Arcadia are terrific. This wagyu set felt a bit old and beefy, though okay enough. The soft serve ice cream machine was also out of order so no sweet ending. Having stomach problems afterward was just insult to injury. Sorry to say we probably won't come back to this location.

We had a reservation on a Saturday evening but it wasn't that busy. Greeted and sat right away by nice staff. It's a bit of a tight table setup but quite well organized so that each diner can operate the heat of both their hot pot and grill independent of others. Quite a genius concept really and easily learned though odd for familiar diners of each type of cooking. They had this really good stewed pork and quail eggs and a large rice cooker you can help yourself to at the bar while waiting. It was so good I had that for my dessert. A very typical Asian family dish often left on the kitchen stove that we are familiar with. The beverages are included in fridges with many soda lemonade waters and other stuff to grab as you like. There is a huge sauce bar to mix your own. Love the sesame sauce mixed with other things! And a bunch of fresh fruit to help yourself to. The hotpot had a number of choices. Sukiyaki broth looked good and our son loved it. I chose the spicy Szechuan type red broth and ordered it mild but it was still quite hot. Honestly this wasn't as tasty as other hotpot restaurants and even mine I make at home with ginger and garlic is much better. Wish I chose the sukiyaki or basic beef broth like our daughter (it was tasty too). So I gave up after a couple rounds of that and stuck to the bbq. The bbq is small with parchment paper on a steel tray but it cooks up pretty quick and nice. Great general choices with many things available. Spicy pork was not the best I've had though and that's one of my faves. Excellent beef choices and pork belly. Whole head on prawns etc. The list is huge. Overall the service was quite fast and attentive clearing dishes and bringing additional items you order from a tablet. They don't do either type of bbq or hotpot as well as others but it's pretty close and so fun to mix and match! A little extensive but if you can eat a lot it's a fair value.
