A friend and I had lunch here yesterday and we were so impressed. First of all, they have a wonderful lunch menu with several reasonably priced options. I selected the coconut shrimp and my friend had the fish and chips. Both of us had more than enough for lunch and took home the leftovers. The shrimp was delicious with just the right amount of breading. It was also served with a side salad. The fish and chips were plentiful, lightly breaded and served with a side salad. Our sweet server was friendly and attentive. She even brought us ice cream for dessert since we were both celebrating our birthdays. I would definitely return. Food: we got the king crab combo among other things and it was fantastic. More than enough for two people and the flavor of the sauces were amazing. They served it with actual scissors , crackers, gloves and a bib. Some places don't provide enough tools to get into your seafood. They also served it in a dish instead of dumping it across the table which preserves flavor and reduces the mess. Staff: We were greeted with kind friendly smiles immediately, followed by another staff member walking by our table letting us know someone would be by shortly and thanking us for coming in. Our server, Jurnee, was the best. Polite, smart and remembered every detail down to the lemon in my beer (which most servers forget). Value/Cost: this meal for 3 people total (including food items I haven't mentioned) would have been $400+ anywhere else. Not so good: the menu is deceptively structured in the seafood boil section with lots of add/ons that drive the price way up. The bad: one order of noodles that should have had a spice level of 1 was spicier. My sausage noodles were correctly spiced but gummy. At our table in addition 2 glasses of wine, 1 beer. I hate to leave a one star review but after a much hyped up recommendation and being let down I can't help it. We spontaneously decided to try this location after friends told us the food was amazing. The ambiance inside is very fun and I love the projectors projecting fish on the floor and the blue lights make it a very fun and family friendly feeling environment- which was about the only enjoyable aspect of the evening. Our server, bless them, seemed to not know anything on the menu or even what kind of tea is available if any at all, I had to settle for hot water and lemon. We ordered the grilled scallops and a crab boil. The scallops seemed steamed and not grilled at all, floating on a tray of butter and garlic, as appetizing as it sounded it definitely needed help, the scallops were very very mushy and felt like they were frozen for a long time, why was there a market price I have no idea. The crab and shrimp were the most disappointing as they were impossible to remove from their shells and the meat would have to be ripped off the shells even after cracking or cutting. Low quality and frozen product and extra over priced for us. Will not return. read more

The price's are absurdly high. My alcoholic beverage was a little too weak, I'd like a slightly heavier pour on the alcohol. My friends both ordered the Strawberry Lemonade, which tasted very watered down. The decor was pleasant. The service was average, which is to say decent. The food was good, but I'm not a seafood expert by any means. Overall I'd give this place a 4/10. The bad was strong smell of cigarette smoke when entering cause an employee was smoking at entrance and another when exiting. We both got the fish and chips and thought was a very reasonable price for what we received. 3 pieces of cod for 15 seems like good price. Some things think they could do better is have salt and pepper shakers at table since food was very under seasoned. Also the ice tea should come with lemon or be asked if want. We had the crawfish boil and tried the fried calamari and the fried oysters. All of it was delicious. The crawfish stole the show though. It was so good and the seasonings were wonderful. The front staff had absolutely no idea what contained gluten in their menu or what gluten even was. A front staff member went back to ask the cook and they said they had absolutely nothing gluten free. What a shame. I was really looking forward to trying it. They charged nearly $200 for what you would pay maybe $50 at your average Joe's Crab Shack, but at Joe's Crab Shack the food is better, the staff is friendlier, and the atmosphere is funner. My wife and I went here Oct 3rd and got fried squid rings, crayfish, and fried oysters. The fried squid rings had the appearance of onion rings with a nice batter but they felt a tad overcooked (little rubbery) but they were still pretty good. The oysters where breaded and fried and were also good but I am not a big connoisseur of oysters and would have preferred Rockefeller ;) The Crayfish were legit 10/10. We got the #1 level seasoning on the crayfish which was good (we will go for #2 next time for more spice). The fries were ok. AWFUL. The boiled fish is served in a plastic bag and my mussels were cooked to the texture of tire rubber. They were not redeemed by the thin and uninteresting sauce (poured out from the same plastic bag). The food (but not the silverware - a server has to be asked for that) is delivered by a ROBOT. My husband, my MIL and I went here for the first time tonight and my MIL ordered the shrimp and chips and my husband ordered the crab legs and lobster and everything was great. I ordered the grilled oysters and there was a bit of a mixup with my meal. I ended up getting the scallops but they comped my oyster meal since they had made a mistake which was really cool. The scallops were cooked perfectly and really really good. My picky husband, very picky, actually liked the scallops and then when my oysters finally came, they were phenomenal as well and my husband, like I said Mr. picky actually ate one himself and loved it. We will definitely be coming back, Journey our waitress was perfect for how busy she was. She waited on us very very well. She was very understanding and I would definitely ask for her as a waitress again we will frequent this restaurant. All I wanna say is to the staff and the cooks. Keep it up and great job. I also wanna add that I accidentally left my purse in the booth when we all left and my husband and I rushed back to get it and they had already set it aside so I really believe great customer service and I hope they have a really long and great standing in this community. read more
