I was here to eat breakfast, after I had read the prior reviews from yelp. The chefs and kitchen staff, delivered. My breakfast was on the point delicious. My waiter name was Mr. Michael professional and good communication. I noticed and also Mr. Michael explained to the tables around me, please be patient a group 15 seat table was the first in line. I highly recommend getting tge ham steak, taste was great and fresh char grill design and has cedar plank flavor very unique. Biscuits and gravy was so good. Also O'Brian potatoes was delicious. I also won $50/ membership point awesome, remember to join the point casino club.

Nowadays this restaurant is far more expensive than it had ever been in the past. I haven't been for a couple of months but the food has been hit and miss over the years. They have things that sound extremely appetizing on the menu but the consistency of the dishes from time to time are not what would be expected. When the food is good it's really good. But there have been several times I've had to send food back and ask either for my money back or for a different dish. I will say they have some wonderful servers. When I would play at the casino I would get free meals a couple of times of month. I'm not a big player anymore but I can still get my senior discount as well as my club card discount. My suggestion to everyone is to maximize the player card benefits and make sure you get your discounts. It will certainly make the food more affordable, and probably even more tasty.

Take out only. Since I'm the first to review this spot, I'm only able to describe the take out experience. Located in the same hallway as Little Boston Bistro (the infamous poke review) is this gem. The menu breakfast is simple. They have this fried bread that's just got a hint of sugar. It's pretty good on the biscuit and sausage plate I got. The waffle was good and I really enjoyed the breakfast burrito. It had everything in it, including a side of sour cream. The wildcard plate is filling and the bacon extra crispy like it's suppose to be. FYI: I sampled each plate, I didn't eat each plate. Overall four stars. I'm sure they deserve a five but I didn't go inside so someone else has to check it out. I'm looking at you reader. Now excuse me, time to see what other eateries are here. Ooh pizza. M

Steve got a chicken sandwich that was good. I got a hamburger with kimchi. It was excellent but I forgot the name of the burger. I saw a pork sandwich option on the menu that had kimchi but that wasn't the same thing... so just read the menu carefully if what I had sounds good. There are lots of options to pick from so take your time. We also split an order of French Fries which were great! For our sweet tooth we got an Amaretto Milkshake and it was excellent! We really enjoyed this one! It was non-alcoholic and we got this particular one because this was a flavor one doesn't usually associate with milkshake options. We are so glad that we got to try it! The Grub Hut is very, very popular or at least it was when we were there and there was a small line to place our order, very little room to sit and the wait time to get our food was about 25 minutes. We didn't think that was too bad and we thought it was "johnny on the spot" timing at work to tell us that at the time that the order was placed. And I suppose they have it down to an art and need to give out times like this as this restaurant is right by the ferry terminal and Kingston so I imagine a lot of people who are using the ferry need that kind of information to plan accordingly with their meals and arrival/departure times with the ferry.

Food: (5/5) I always drive 164th so I've been eyeing this spot for a long time. My partner and I decided to finally stop by last week and our minds were blown!! We got the fried catfish, collard greens, black eyed peas, corn bread, and sweet potato pie. Everything was AMAZING. The catfish was crunchy on the outside and perfectly succulent on the inside. The black eyed peas and collard greens were both delicious savory additions to the meal with great texture. The cornbread had additions of cheese and peppers, and was a yummy mix of sweet and salty. The sweet potato pie, which we learned Andre's wife makes, was beyond addicting. If we hadn't had a snack before coming, we would've cleared everything immediately. We plan to try everything on the menu, especially the fried okra! Service: (5/5) This was probably the most memorable food experience I have ever had. Andre, the owner, is extremely passionate about his work and it shows in everything that he does. We ended up chatting for quite awhile and our conversation reminded me of everything that's important in my personal life, in the best way. Please come by! You won't regret it for a second.

Joan, the owner and chef, is absolutely amazing. She made me feel like a genuine guest in her home rather than just another customer, checking in with such warmth and care throughout the meal. You can tell how much passion and skill she pours into every dish. If you love sushi bowls and sushi rolls, this is an absolute must-visit. Everything came out fresh, beautifully presented, and packed with flavor. Between the food and Joan's hospitality, this easily earns a 10 out of 10 in my book -- I just wish Yelp let me give more than 5 stars! Can't wait to go back.
