Visiting the area, so stopped here for a quick look on my second to last night. Restaurant has AYCE crab on the second Tuesdays of the month. Totally worth it! Friendly host staff, was sat promptly. Greeted by the server quickly and took my AYCE order and had it out in a jiffy. Getting refills was a little slow and I take my time finding every piece of crab meat. The staff who dropped off my refills was not really engaging, but not a deal breaker, their job is tough. The dining area is long and always full. I did not feel rushed. Decor is plain, they really just focused on the AYCE. If in the area, try this place. read more

This is my second visit to The Point Casino but my first to the restaurant. It's a comfortable restaurant and our waiter was very attentive. The Pork Belly bites were tasty but a little overcooked. The Bourbon sauce for the belly bites was excellent and recommended by our waiter. The salad was fresh with nice crispy lettuce and the rest of the vegetables were great too. I think the salad was the best part of the meal. The prime rib was also excellent along with a loaded baked potato. We had to send the first prime rib back since it was overcooked but they happily made it right. The second one was cooked just right though. The overall experiene was good. I think I'll try the sandwich shop next time. I was told by others at the casino that it's worth a visit so next time I'll give it a try. read more

I was here to eat breakfast, after I had read the prior reviews from yelp. The chefs and kitchen staff, delivered. My breakfast was on the point delicious. My waiter name was Mr. Michael professional and good communication. I noticed and also Mr. Michael explained to the tables around me, please be patient a group 15 seat table was the first in line. I highly recommend getting tge ham steak, taste was great and fresh char grill design and has cedar plank flavor very unique. Biscuits and gravy was so good. Also O'Brian potatoes was delicious. So disappointed!! I use to love going here truly , but our last visit was nothing and I mean nothing to brag about. Prices went up menu changes and no flavor!! Please hire an actual Chef!! Broccoli (seasonal pick not mine theirs) as brown on the ends obviously frozen previously and not steamed to al dente tasted awful! A hug portion of " Pot Roast". I think it was cooked in a instant pot pot on pressure cook... tender yes but too big piece and NO flavor none... and no veges cooked with the roast! Nope I think they cooked up a roasting bag season and poured it on top. I can do better at home but I wanted to be out! My mom had a single portion fish and chips it was supposed to be to have Panko breading... it was not so the fish was heavily breaded and oily. And do not get me started on what they called gravy yuk I know you serve Prime Rib use the base for your gravy ... not clear gelatin or whatever that was. Please make me love you again... the waitress should NOT have to apologize for the cooks short comings. Are those real mashed potatoes because my taste buds say they were instant!! 27$ for my horrible tasting meal. Sorry guys you have to be better. Nowadays this restaurant is far more expensive than it had ever been in the past. I haven't been for a couple of months but the food has been hit and miss over the years. They have things that sound extremely appetizing on the menu but the consistency of the dishes from time to time are not what would be expected. When the food is good it's really good. But there have been several times I've had to send food back and ask either for my money back or for a different dish. I will say they have some wonderful servers. When I would play at the casino I would get free meals a couple of times of month. I'm not a big player anymore but I can still get my senior discount as well as my club card discount. My suggestion to everyone is to maximize the player card benefits and make sure you get your discounts. It will certainly make the food more affordable, and probably even more tasty. read more

Take out only. Since I'm the first to review this spot, I'm only able to describe the take out experience. Located in the same hallway as Little Boston Bistro (the infamous poke review) is this gem. The menu breakfast is simple. They have this fried bread that's just got a hint of sugar. It's pretty good on the biscuit and sausage plate I got. The waffle was good and I really enjoyed the breakfast burrito. It had everything in it, including a side of sour cream. The wildcard plate is filling and the bacon extra crispy like it's suppose to be. FYI: I sampled each plate, I didn't eat each plate. Overall four stars. I'm sure they deserve a five but I didn't go inside so someone else has to check it out. I'm looking at you reader. Now excuse me, time to see what other eateries are here. Ooh pizza. M read more

I had the make your own pasta with mushrooms, broccoli and chicken. Chicken was dry, I had a ridiculous amount of mushrooms and the broccoli was huge not cut up and hard. We also waited about 50 minutes for our food. Very disappointed in the food quality and the customer service here as well. Won't be back. read more

We eat at the kloomachin about twice a month. The food has always been pretty good. We went a couple weeks ago and the prices have gone up considerably. For $26 we got a 4oz streak (we ordered it), a very small baked potato and about a quarter cup of vegetables. I ordered my steak medium and it came very dry and tough. We asked for butter, sour cream and green onion on our sad little potato. They charged us for the BUTTER, a death of sour cream and about 6 tiny pieces of onion... 50cents a piece. What restaurant charges you for butter in a potato??????!!!!!! It seems over the last month they have changed their portion sizes and standards. Nickle and dimeing the players that spend a lot of money gambling to death. Better to eat at the deli. Always good. One more the thing. The waitress seemed to have no interest in serving us. It took 25 minutes after our dinner plates were taken to get desert. Not a good experience. read more

A friend and I planned on a weekend of football, baseball and gambling with good eats. They couldn't provide the good eats. The first night we ordered a pizza. When we opened up the pizza, there was no cheese on it. We took it back and requested another one with cheese. They said the meat lovers pizza doesn't come with cheese. I thought all pizzas have cheese. I told him we weren't eating it and wanted our money back. The guy said " you can do anything you want with it, but you're not getting your money back." I go " aren't you supposed to give the customer what they want?" He goes "No. You don't have to eat it but you do have to pay for it. ". I told him "I ordered a meat lovers pizza, not three kinds of meat with sauce on a crust and no cheese." I just left it there. Then we went to Kloomachin Kitchen. I ordered a T-bone steak. For the price of the steak, I was expecting prime meat. It was low grade meat with fat and gristle. I go "where's the beef?" No reply. I couldn't eat it. I just ate my potato and a mixed vegetable mush. The next night I ordered the seafood platter. The fish tasted spoiled so I couldn't eat the rest. The prawns were tasty. For clams, it was just breading and the onion rings had no onion. They were just breading rounds. All I received was three prawns with a plateful of breading. Don't bother wasting your money here. You're better off finding a fast food restaurant . Even lowly McDs has better food than Kloomachin. Kitchen. Stay away from this place. read more

Got takeout to take back to my room. Staff was nice and pleasant to deal with. I got poutine which I was surprised at the amount of bacon and pork belly on it. Definitely worth the money. They were awesome enough to put the sauce on the side so it did not get soggy. The only downfall is going into the smoky casino to get it. read more

Just had dinner at the Point Casino Kloomachin Kitchen. Virtually empty. Reasonable prices. Had the fish and chips. 3 large pieces of cod with batter that was not overwhelming. Clam chowder was hot and tasty. My wife had the sirloin steak, and she said is was good as well. Service was good until I complained about a fruit fly in my beer. The servers reaction was, "yep, there it is and oh look, there is another one". read more

Made our "give it a try again" annual visit to the Point Casino, giving them another shot for improvement of their food. Kloomachin Kitchen, noon, 2-20-2022. We live nearby and would be nice to have a place to eat out close. After the three of us ate breakfast Overwhelming vote was wait another 2 years next before retuning. Mess up breakfast food?? We all requested Bacon as a side. Unknowingly it was each cooked a different doneness. Greasy, tough, and tough crispy. There were 5 tables seated. Ordered drinks, received cold coffee, Tea selection was 1 pk each of two black teas and 2 Decafe for the two tea orders. Service was slow and gruff. After ordering normal dishes it took a loooong time for food to be delivered. Had to ask for coffee refill, and hot water refill for the tea. Hash Browns appeared to be a frozen patty that was on the grill a long time. O'Brians were warm, off the cold side of the grill. We like to patronize local business, but will not be the Point Casino for food. Disappointing. read more

I'm sitting here several days after eating a very tasty dinner at the Kloomachin Kitchen in the Point Casino and this thought popped into my head out of nowhere....I REALLY was impressed with my server!
