Stopped in with my son for lunch. It was lovely and beautiful to sit outside (there are heaters to help with the chill). The food was good, came out quickly, and the hostess and server were both lovely and friendly. If you are in the area, I recommend stopping by.

We came here for happy hour and it was worth it. Staff was friendly and we were seated right away. We were able to take advantage of happy hour prices even though we got there 10 minutes before it ended. Nice ambiance, cozy but can accommodate large groups. Great view of the marina. The happy hour menu has many choices and was reasonably priced. The steak was perfectly cooked. The mussels had nice flavor without being overpowered by the sauce. Pasta was also well done. Salmon on caesar was moist. Definitely will come again.

My wife and I stayed at the resort on our wedding night. We had our rehearsal dinner and morning of breakfast at Fireside. The food was absolutely amazing. Our server Steve on the rehearsal night was awesome. We really enjoyed the view and the atmosphere is very welcoming. We felt welcomed and well taken care of here. Can't rave enough about this place. We will definitely be going back, even if it is an hour and a half away!

We came in during happy hour, we were seated in a rather awkward spot. We were behind a pole couldn't see other patrons and were seated side by side. The staff took a while to come give us any water or take our drink order. We ordered off the happy hour menu and I ordered oysters off the main menu, as we weren't very hungry but wanted to try the place out since we were staying in the resort. Our waiter did not seem to like that we ordered off the happy hour menu and seemed rather annoyed with us. It took a while to receive our food. When the food did come the burger was dry and lacked any flavor. The truffle fries were fine. The tapenade was quite bland. Oysters were fine but the sauce was not good at all. We were without water for probably 10 minutes + before anyone even noticed we were out. The restaurant itself was nicely decorated with beautiful views. It's a shame the service and food was not up to par as the hotel was amazing.

We ordered several dishes which included the pimento spread with fried saltines, duck confit croquettes. potato and leek soup, oysters on the half shell and lastly, their house-made pasta which was mafaldine, a long strand with curly edges on both sides in with a sauce that was just exceptional. Our waitress, Jessica was so friendly and there was never a wait for our dishes. Overall a very splendid experience and will definitely go back when visiting Port Townsend again.

They are always making sure you have a clean dining space and fresh settings. The food is of course the star of the show though. We went during HH and tried a variety of small bites and every single one of them was delicious. The oysters were on point, the greens balanced, the croquettes and salmon dip were very flavorful but our favorite dish of the day was the biggest one and that was the house made pasta. The selection changes every day and on our day it had red sauce, red onion, and castelvetrano olives and it was so good that we ordered a second bowl! And we may not have needed a second bowl as it was a solid size but it was so good! The house red during HH was also nice and I tried a white port and tonic which was fun to try and refreshing. Definitely a destination stop whenever one is around Port Townsend!

The pickled radish balanced the bone marrow so well, and the flavor of the marrow w the seasoning was a great balance of savory flavors. The Santa Maria Plate had chicken, picanha, skirt steak, and sausage, but we asked for the extra surf and turf that came with scallops and prawn. The meat was very well prepared, with specific high marks for the skirt steak. Perfectly cooked and had that charcoal flavor you just can't recreate. The resateaunt is situated next to an art gallery and offers views into the gallery which is such a nice design touch and adds to the overall ambiance and experience. The serve was also high quality and very attentive. Overall, we had a great experience and I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a date night.

Staff were attentive and the space is modern with an open kitchen. My group ordered the roasted beets, grilled calamari, and steak lettuce cups. I really enjoyed the roasted beets and the grilled calamari - I would highly recommend ordering those. I wasn't particularly a fan the steak lettuce cups. For dinner I ordered the Picanha. I would happily order that again - great flavor from the fat cap and I actually couldn't even finish it. My group also ordered the duck confit from the fresh sheet, the salmon and the steak salad, which they enjoyed. We also ordered dessert. We had the cheesecake and the sorbet. I'm a fan cheesecake already and Charcoal's cheesecake just added a spin with the carmelized pineapple. I don't live in the area, but I would add Charcoal to my list if I did!

The space is cozy and a good vibe for a date night. We loved both of the dishes we tried, especially the scallop risotto. All the seafood was fresh and cooked really well. The miso cod had the perfect crispiness on the skin and the scallops were perfect. All the tabloids went really well together. The cocktails were not bad, but not our favorite part of the meal. Everyone was super friendly and we really appreciated that our server knew exactly when to check in and give us space. He also picked up on the fact that we wanted to share all the dishes so he brought them out one at a time. When we ordered dessert he added in a candle since he knew we were celebrating and brought out extra dessert wine and goodies too! We appreciated the attention to detail :) Definitely a must try in Whidbey!
