This is a restaurant you go to not find. It is at the very end of Port Townsend, the only advertisement is for the RV park nearby. Don't let that keep you from this delicious, cozy restaurant. Locals here abound which in my opinion speaks volumes about their food and service. I had the El Portal Burger-so good, perfectly cooked and the flavors worked. The French fries were hot, crisp and just the right amount of salt. My partner had had the fish and chips and he said the fish was hand cut. No drinks or dessert for us but I would come back here again and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent service. The food was amazing. Beautiful day in PT, an outdoor patio and fire really was the cherry on the cake. I highly recommend Salish Grill.

The service was great, ambiance was okay but nothing to write home about. The portions were good for their reasonable pricing. 2 entrees + drinks and dessert was just about 100$ which is pretty good in my book. The clam chowder was great! Ask for bread on the side and they bring out an amazing focaccia slice with butter and seasonings. The desserts were incredible, we got the the crème brûlée and banana fosters bread pudding and OMG they were both great, the bread pudding was covered head to toe in caramel sause and was HUGE!

The service, the food and the location is perfect for a nice dinner or lunch . They did rebrand a year ago and I'd say def worth the trip and highly recommend checking them out.

We were looking for a good spot to eat with 2 kids under 4 years old, while on a day trip to Port Townsend. This ended up being a great casual option as it was a busy Saturday. Adults food was exactly what was advertised and the kids had a great time. Lots of good kids options and gave us lots of broccoli for my son and fish. Service was great and anticipated a quick bill knowing we had the kids etc. Easy parking and quick service made it a great end of the day and then we headed back to Seattle area.

Amazing find on the water. Great views, comfortable ambiance and great service made a good start. The Seafood Artichoke Dip is outstanding; not just the dip, but the flatbread as well. My wife loved the Salmon Mac & Cheese, and my Prime Rib & Cheddar sandwich was very good. For my taste, the bread was a bit crunchy, but overall it was very good. Finish up with a NW Berry Cobbler, also very good.

Came to Port Townsend for the day and was looking for some fresh seafood. We thought the marina would be a good bet. The reviews on Yelp were mixed, but we decided to give it a try anyway. It's located near an RV Park. The views are decent, but the RV's were blocking most of our window booth view from the bar area where we sat. They have outside seating available too, but it was pretty windy, so we chose to dine in. We were greeted and seated as soon as we walked in. The staff was friendly and helpful. The menu has a nice variety of options. We decided on the Caesar salad with blackened salmon, cup of chowder, and the northwest cioppino. All the food was really good. The seafood tasted fresh. There was a perfect amount of clams in the chowder. The Caesar dressing was delicious and loved the shaved parmesan on top. Overall we enjoyed our food here. Would recommend.

We had an absolutely delightful evening at Salish Grill (formerly Doc's Marina Grill). The seafood stew was incredible--packed with Northwest salmon, cod, calamari, prawns, Manila clams, and Penn Cove mussels in a rich fennel‑tomato broth, served with warm garlic focaccia. There was so much seafood that I couldn't finish it all (and happily brought the rest home). My partner chose the cod fish&chips, featuring hand‑cut Northwest cod with a crisp golden Panko crust--classic and satisfying . We also shared a starter of steamed clams and mussels with crusty focaccia--perfectly tender and great for dipping . Service was friendly and attentive enough, and the atmosphere--cozy w harbor views. Fresh, local ingredients, generous portions, good service, and a cozy waterfront setting. Highly recommend--best meal we've had in Port Townsend so far!

Doc's is resting on its laurels. It knows it will get customers due to it's location. Food is decent but expensive. Service is slow. Got a pretty good chicken Caesar salad. But $22 just for the salad (no protein). Seasoning on the chicken was great but it was small and overcooked. The fish and chips isn't authentic - more like a panko crust but the fish tasted good.

Doc's has a nice location near the harbor and has outdoor seating to enjoy the view. The menu has a lot of seafood! I got the blackened wild salmon sandwich and really enjoyed this!! The piece of salmon was large, and felt really balanced with the bread and veggies. This came with a side of potato salad that I really liked as well! I felt like the food was a little pricy, and service was slow when we went. But I did enjoy the food and would come back if I'm in the area.

Came in for a friends birthday party. We had reservations and we got seated pretty quickly. It was a Saturday so there were a lot of people waiting. They gave us a back room which was nice and accommodated our group of 8 well. A lot of the reviews here mention that the food takes a while to come out. Well I can confirm it does. We ordered as quickly as possible because of this and it took over an hour and 15 mins to get our food. We ordered a variety of items including the fish and chips, chowder, Burger, Caesar salad, and blackened salmon sandwich. All of the food was pretty decent but nothing really special. Fish and chips was bland and definitely needed the tartar sauce. Service was also not the best. Waiter was very awkward and had poor service skills. We ordered a couple of drinks and he said we should order other drinks because he had to go look in the back to see if they had it but that it was going to take him a while. Also I asked for a menu and he snatched it out of my wife's hands and gave it to me. Very strange. Overall, if I'm in port Townsend again I'd probably skip coming to Docs.

Do they allow dogs outside on the patio?

I saw a dog when I was there, although I'm not sure what their official policy is.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a friendly server and immediately impressed by the beautiful decor. There's also a bar area off to the right if you're looking to enjoy a drink. After being seated, we had time to look over the menu and decided on the fish and chips and the Northwest Burger. The burger name alone caught our attention, and we had to try it! The food was delicious and freshly made. Both dishes were full of flavor, and the quality really stood out. Combined with the fantastic service and inviting atmosphere, it made for a great dining experience. A bonus for pet owners the restaurant is dog-friendly if you're bringing your furry friend along. Dogs are welcome in the outdoor seating area. We had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back again!

Both tacos we had were fantastic, and the chips and guacamole were great too. The tortilla chips were warm and tasty so I assume that they prep them on site. My daughter loved the horchata too. I would have to agree with Jacob S on this. The staff is friendly, attentive and all-around…read moreexcellent, the place is spotless-clean and has an incredible view. But the food most definitely fell flat (sorry). The chicken burrito I ordered tasted like it was stuffed with Wonder Bread. (But that's not a bad thing if you like Wonder Bread -- many older people in the Pacific NW can't handle anything spicier than ketchup, so maybe this "works" for them. It was certainly soft, fresh and chewy Wonder Bread, so full credit for that.) The home-made tortilla chips were a very nice touch, very crunchy. The salsa served with it (verde and rojo) was a bit disappointing. If Gerber Baby Food made salsa, this would be it. Fresh, pretty bland, and had the consistency and texture of applesauce. They have a few unmarked bottles of house-made salsa, made with apple cider (according to one of the waitstaff) which was a bit spicier, but an unusual flavor. (My wife guessed that it had been made with beer.) So if you love Mexican food, but can't tolerate anything spicier than mayonnaise, this would be a great choice.
