This is the view into their kitchen. We should've left after seeing this

Oh man... Came here for a to go croissant with bacon and a latte. My bad for thinking there would be egg in it(guess I thought for $10.50 it would even though it said $9.99 on menu). No one was in there( Saturday morning at 9:30). Waiting way too long for it. While waiting we noticed how absolutely filthy the place was. They tack on $2.00 for takeout. Took two bites and the croissant tasted stale and "off". Threw it away and our stomachs hurt for the next four hours. Should've taken the cue from no one being inside

Local cafe. Self service. Easy going. Friendly staff. Food was good. Bathrooms are up the stairs.

    The COVID setup

Did not get to take in the cute interior as they are keeping safe with COVID measures (really appreciate this), but we were lucky enough to grab a couple scrumptious to go options for home! The gentleman who helped us was very pleasant and helpful as well. The little menu board and the makeshift front counter did not show all offerings, so he was nice enough to run inside and name off the other options of the day. We settled on a piece of German chocolate pecan pie to take to my mum, and a raspberry scone (his pick of the three berry options consisting of blueberry and Marion berry as the others). It did not disappoint. My mums mouth watered over the pie and my husband confirmed it tasted pretty bomb, while that scone killed me with its tasty bites. The perfect amount of drizzle on top to add some sweetness, while the tangy raspberries were in abundance and paired perfectly with the texture of the scone. I MUST try the other two now. If you are in Port Townsend and want some baked tasties, this is a great COVID conscious option.

Crepes were so yummy!! today's homemade jam was strawberry. Not a huge selection for breakfast, and biscuits & gravy were average. The gentleman that helped was very nice.

We parked and ordered an espresso, Reuben sandwich, a cheeseburger for my son. He loved it so much. My husband was glad that the serving portion was big enough too. The veggie burger has purple onions cooked on the grill so they are actually sweet. My son liked his chicken sandwich. The quality of the food is consistently good. Their new Oreo milkshake costs as much as one from Baskin Robbins, but tastes better. The sun and warm breeze off the water are relaxing in ways not many things are. This was our first visit to Camano Island and the Cama Beach Cafe…read more My husband and I recently visited Camano Island where we were lucky enough to have breakfast at Cama Beach Cafe. My husband, Mike, had the biscuits and gravy to which he gave a HUGE thumbs up. He frequently orders this dish and is generally disappointed; saying it's more like paste. I have told him to stop ordering it, but at Cama Beach Cafe, Coree (our server), said the Cafe's version was amazing. She was right! The Biscuit & Gravy was created with wild mushroom & silvana meats savory sausage gravy, on top of the homemade, buttery biscuit add two eggs for $3 which is very popular! And it was. I ordered extra crisp bacon and eggs with a Cama Cafe-made biscuit. I'm very particular about my biscuits (raised in the south) and was also very pleased. Plus, the homemade berry jam was extraordnary!!! Also, I wanted to say that Coree was absolutely 5-star!She was smiling, laughing, and providied excellent recommendations about what to order. We could see things coming and going on other tables and it all looked yummy. We were in the PNW celebrating my 70th birthday. Coree was so sweet and gave us one a Cama Cafe cheddar-ham scones as a birthday gift - I love my savories! We enjoyed our view of the beach and water from the deck. be sure to look up at the inside dining area with all the big wooden beams of the restored historic building at Cama Beach Historical State Park, which originally began as a private fishing resort constructed in 1934. Wonderful to behold. So knocked out by the food, we forgot to take any photos!
