Pan d'amore never misses!! Every year at thanksgiving, ever since the other bakery (Sweet Laurette) closed down, my family orders a stack of pies and a bag full of of bread from Pan D'Amore. My favorite are the cranberry rolls, and my grandma loves the Giacometti (cheesy bread sticks). The walnut cranberry loaf is also delicious! This time I ordered the mini danish and the morning glory bite. The morning glory mini muffin had an excellent texture and flavor. The apple pie, pumpkin pie, and blueberry pie were all delicious though the blueberry was my favorite. The flaky crust really shines in their pies. Place is small and cozy, only outdoor seating. The service is fast and friendly. Overall a must see in port townsend!

Walking around in town and did we find a gem! Just saw the little sign by where we parked the car, and this place is life-changing if visiting Port Townsend. Small, but intentional shop with so many delicious treats, and amazing fresh breads. We picked up want turned into the best cheese bread stick we've ever had, fought over it to the last crumb. Sorry, no pic, we ate it too fast. It didn't make it far. Talked to the person working and asked if they knew where we could score some pate for a cheese and meat board later that night and they recommended a market down the way, thought that was nice of them to recommend another local spot. We also got a sourdough loaf and some berry desserts. Will be back on our next trip.

You know a small-town bakery is the place to be when there are lines outside at 9:00 am. When visiting Port Townsend, Pane d'Amore should be on your list! The exterior of the bakery is just as welcoming and cute as the interior, with large windows keeping things fresh and airy - just like their bread! You will have many options, but the savory croissants caught my attention. We bought a few pain au chocolats and savory croissants, and boy, were we happy with our decisions. The staff is lovely, and I enjoyed the jokes and sassy vibes we shared. There is not much space inside, so if I were you, I would peek through the windows ahead of getting in line to confirm that the team has what you may be looking for. Parking is ample nearby, but the location is a quick walk through some lovely historic neighborhoods and is close to most areas where tourists may stay. Take a few extra baked goods for the road!

Cute bakery with wide selection baked goods. Variety of cheeses include some local cheeses. All items are grab and go, service is quick because there aren't any tables or seats.

Cookies, bread. Excellent. I'm a chocolate chip lover but I got the oatmeal raisin instead and it was to die for.

The focaccia was dense and decadent, I could only take a couple nibbles before I left the rest to Chris to finish.

It was delicious and made me want to go back a couple weeks later to get another one. Totally different experience. I took the apple cinnamon roll home, put a pat of butter on it and microwaved it for 10 seconds. The roll was hard, so hard I could not cut it with a fork even or chew it. A couple days later the owner or management of Crusty Crumb posted about poor reviews they were getting and said this: 'We've seen a few reviews lately that let us know we didn't hit the mark for everyone. While we know we can't please every single person, we care deeply about what we bake, how we serve, and how you feel when you visit'. They followed up with this: 'If something was off during your visit, we're truly sorry. We're human, and we may not realize something's wrong unless you tell us. We welcome all kinds of feedback, from the food to the atmosphere, and we'd love the chance to make things right' So, since my experience was so recent I mentioned the hard apple cinnamon roll. I was told that bread should never be put in the microwave - making me the reason their cinnamon roll was too hard to eat. I stand by my comment that 10 seconds in a microwave did not ruin that roll. The butter didn't even melt. Crusty Crumb asked for feedback. When I shared my experience, they were looking for accolades, not an unhappy customer and even though the said 'they'd like to make it right', they didn't mean it. I was not offered a refund for the $6 cinnamon roll nor invited to return to the bakery to get another cinnamon roll on the house hoping for a better experience. They asked for feedback but didn't really want feedback. Disingenuous at best
