Great place to relax after the round. We stopped by 20 minutes before closing so it was not that busy and food came out sooner than we expected. Nachos - pretty good Bacon Mushroom Double Cheeseburger- 2 1/3 patties, patties was a little bit overcooked to my liking, I would prefer medium rare or medium. But it is still very good. We chose the Parmesan cheese garlic fries and that was delicious. Fish and chips - fried to perfection, batter was crispy and crunchy and yummy. Sweet potato fries were also fried to perfection. Crispy and crunchy. Better than Mr. Fish house at spike's market. Servers were friendly too.

The view at this restaurant is top notch with a beautiful view. The salmon crostini is fantastic and the lumpia is made fresh daily. The staff is fantastic and friendly.

Steve got a chicken sandwich that was good. I got a hamburger with kimchi. It was excellent but I forgot the name of the burger. I saw a pork sandwich option on the menu that had kimchi but that wasn't the same thing... so just read the menu carefully if what I had sounds good. There are lots of options to pick from so take your time. We also split an order of French Fries which were great! For our sweet tooth we got an Amaretto Milkshake and it was excellent! We really enjoyed this one! It was non-alcoholic and we got this particular one because this was a flavor one doesn't usually associate with milkshake options. We are so glad that we got to try it! The Grub Hut is very, very popular or at least it was when we were there and there was a small line to place our order, very little room to sit and the wait time to get our food was about 25 minutes. We didn't think that was too bad and we thought it was "johnny on the spot" timing at work to tell us that at the time that the order was placed. And I suppose they have it down to an art and need to give out times like this as this restaurant is right by the ferry terminal and Kingston so I imagine a lot of people who are using the ferry need that kind of information to plan accordingly with their meals and arrival/departure times with the ferry.

This review will be a bit long, but I feel it's important to acknowledge when businesses go well above and beyond... into orbit in this case. Not only did they work to exceed expectations, but to set the ultimate standard for customer service and to demonstrate a commitment to caring for people beyond the customer-business relationship. This post is also a message both as an endorsement for diners, but also an advisory to every other business in this county. Take note - this is a roadmap for how you win forever customers: Last Saturday, my daughter got married in Poulsbo, in a ceremony that involved guests from Alaska, California, and Colorado. On the Sunday morning afterward, my wife Gayle and I threw a brunch celebration for our out of town guests as a thank you for making the journey for our daughter's special day. We made the reservation back in February in order to ensure they would have room for 20+ guests. At some point between then and now, Sully's decided to stop serving brunch. We didn't need to be their problem. It would have been easy to call or email us and let us know that our plans would have to change... with sincere apologies and an explanation as to why - blah blah blah, and with enough notice to get a reservation elsewhere, maybe. They didn't. In fact, they didn't even tell us they'd stopped brunch service. Some of our guests were calling us and asking: "Hey, Google says they're closed. Are you sure about this?" We didn't know, but figured we'd show up and find out. Instead, Sully's made sure to have enough staff a few hours early on Sunday, enough food, broke out the old brunch recipe book and dusted it off, and cleared the patio and set it up. All of that work just to ensure our guests had brunch. And a fabulous time. This was solely for our benefit. They weren't going to make a lot of money on just our party. Truth be told, they might have even lost some on it. They could have just shrugged us off. But they honored their commitment, even though it was a hassle, and a lot of extra work. Even though it meant knowing they'd have to special order food just for us, even though it meant more expense. And - not to belabor the point - they trusted US to honor *our* agreement to come. They hadn't taken a deposit. We could have ghosted them, especially if we'd believed Google's page saying they were closed. After all, we were strangers to them. But they treated us like family. And then... ...they crushed it with the food, the drinks, the service. They setup a special U-shaped table, complete with linens and flowers, and showcased a view of the Duwamish Sea that is unmatched in Kitsap County dining. I'd list all the food items and give a review - each one a culinary gem. But that would be cruel. I'd be bragging about food we had that won't be available to the community at large again (unless they bring back brunch... pretty please). No, what I wanted to call out was how deeply touched my wife and I were at their willingness to honor their promise, our reservation, and then go the extra mile to make it special. They didn't have to. But they did. And our guests were incredibly impressed, both with the food and the service. Thank you, with our whole heart, to the people of Sully's... from the owner on down to the staff. You made our day so very special. And while they may not serve brunch anymore... I urge you to go there for lunch or dinner. Support a restaurant that demonstrates loves for its community through its actions, not just words or fancy FB posts. And get the wings! (My personal fave) You won't regret it. Cheers to you, Sully's! We'll be diners with you for life.

Started our dinner with cocktails. We both got the same tequila/grapefruit spritz concoction ($18 each); really couldn't taste the tequila, so I'd say the drink was a bit light on liquor. For first course, my wife had the Carrot, Orange & Ginger Soup ($12) and I had the Toscano Salad ($15). Both were quite tasty. The soup was a brothy blend with a nice gingery flavor and my salad was arugula loaded with pear slices, hazelnut pieces, basil, and a number of fairly large chunks of salty pecorino cheese. Only downside for me was the dressing was rather meh; tasted the oil, but not enough vinaigrette. Both came with a slice of flavorful, crusty toasty bread. For our main course, my wife had the Korobuta Pork Loin ($32) and I had the Cioppino ($38). The pork came with what was called a butternut squash, fennel stuffing, broccolini and apple sauce. The pork was very flavorful but not cooked as my wife requested (she wanted no pink) and it just wasn't what she was expecting...it was larger and more steak-like. She thought it would be kind of rolled with the stuffing inside. Also said she didn't find much squash or fennel in the "stuffing". My cioppino was excellent! The tomato base was lighter tomato and more brothy than I've had on most cioppino...and delicious. The bowl was loaded with clams, mussels, shrimp, large sea scallops, and white fish. Unfortunately, two clams and a mussel never opened their shells. We washed the food down with a bottle of Lobo Hills WA Gewurztraminer ($38), which was tasty, but a bit over chilled, initially hiding the aromas and flavors. I felt that for our $200+ check the restaurant might have provided a tiny dessert gratis for my wife's birthday, but no. They brought her the tiny tooth picked flag that said Happy Birthday, that would have been placed in a dessert had we bought one. Thought that was a bit cheesy. Service from Luke was great. He was very attentive, but not overly so. And the old house is very welcoming, though it can get pretty loud due to all hard wood acoustics. They do have outdoor dining too.
