Great breakfast spot, friendly service . You'll leave full. Never had anything I didn't enjoy here. Favorite is the hash browns delight. Parking available. Be prepared to wait if you come with a group. Counter seating also available.

Hubby took me to breakfast at this hole in the wall diner. Don't blink or eyes or you will miss it! Super small inside. The decor is old and booths weren't very comfortable, just needs some updating. If we are rating food alone definitely a 4 star place. Portions were great, came out hot and it was so so good!!! Our server was very friendly. Price was $40 before tip.

Decided to walk down here for breakfast after dropping the car off at Les Schwab for some servicing. The reviews were great and the idea of an old school diner was awesome, so we went. Immediately loved the ambiance! Totally old school, down home, small town vibes. Service was amazing and just what you'd expect from a small diner. Food was good, not great-but worth ordering again. I had the meat and cheese omelet (sausage and cheddar), side of bacon, and my wife went with the chicken breast salad with hamburger patty substituted for chicken breast, with blue cheese dressing. Omelet was HUGE! Bacon was skimpy but tasty. Salad was like one you'd make at home but still really good, hamburger Patty was bland. The hash browns were the best! So good, and they had chipotle and Jalapeño Tabasco sauce (staples in my household!), which was a nice touch.

Wow wow wow - AMAZING breakfast at The Junction Diner in Poulsbo today. My husband and I try a new place every weekend, and today we landed at The Junction Diner. To start, this spot has so much charm and nostalgia in how it's set up. Regulars galore, Terri (the amazing server manning the entire restaurant) knew at least 75% of the people that came in by name. The food though, and that stellar chef (I didn't catch her name but man is she cool), I asked for a breakfast sandwich and for the chef to basically make me her dream sandwich. Sausage, spinach, tomato, egg, cheese, Mayo - insanely good and cooked like a grilled cheese... My love language is all things grilled cheese. My husband had a huge portion of chicken fried steak that he devoured as well. Not only was the food amazing, the banter and the people truly made our day. Prices were SO great as well, so know going in that you get a lot of bang for your buck. I'm honestly disappointed that I'm just now discovering this tiny hidden gem, but we will be back for lunch very soon. To note, they're open 6am to 2pm, closed Sundays, and small joint but lovely outdoor setup for sunny days. Thank you Terri and the phenomenal chef for such a wonderful time!

Updated menu prices. For example Veggie Omelette went from $11.99 to $16.99. Price of pie hasn't changed.

I got the breakfast sandwich with a sausage patty and it was AWESOME!!! I took a star off because they didn't have the corned beef hash. Check it out.

This is a great little (literally, the place is super small!) dive joint for breakfast and lunch. We stopped on our way through town and were lucky to have a booth open up shortly after we got there. A couple of kind patrons also offered to make room at the counter, but we ended up taking the booth. The food here is standard, no frills, diner fare. We tried the French Dip, the Junction Scramble, and the Mushroom Swiss burgers. The food came out in a timely manner and was tasty! Service is excellent and friendly. Thanks for a delish meal on our way to Port Angeles!

Don't get the omelette! The people I went with liked their food, but it was very greasy and tons of gravy.

Even with the higher prices, still a good deal compared to other eateries. And the food is still terrific.

Classic greasy spoon diner. Small interior but it adds to the charm. Bacon, eggs, hash browns, and toast, exactly what I expected.

It's a nice synchronicity watching everyone's flow and seeing locals coming in and chatting with one another. Unlike other diners in Seattle which may feel more transactional, a server in all black clothing was giving hugs to her regulars and wishing them a Happy Thanksgiving. One of the cooks recognized me and it felt like Cheers where everyone knows your name. The sound of silverware being separated, plastic glasses being stacked, and the vintage style decor brings me back to what diners used to be like. You can hear the sounds of newspapers and smell the fresh brewed coffee. This is a cozy place where I've been family reunions. I misjudged this businesses and am giving it 10 stars.

It had a very classic diner vibe, and it wasn't super busy when we went. We had to wait outside for a server to come and seat us, but it was only around 5-10 minutes. Once we sat down we were given menus and there was a tic tac toe game on the table so that was super cute. However, I had looked up the menu online before going in and was devastated to find that it wasn't the same menu as the online version. The waitress said that they changed their online menu a while ago, but the menu I had was directly linked from their google search, so it was a bit disappointing. The food was still really good and the service was super kind and friendly, but you could tell they were prioritizing the regulars, which is to be expected in a sense, but she forgot to come by a couple times with things that we asked for, including the waters we had to ask for three times. Overall, it's such a cute little place, especially since there aren't many options for breakfast on the island, but the ambiance is the best part.
