Recently had a takeout order of a Field House Rise & Shine sandwich, biscuits and gravy, Mac salad, and some potatoes... all were so good! The sandwich was a tad bit on the dry side, though. More sauce would have been perfection. Everything was seasoned well. The biscuits and gravy were to die for. I'm pretty easy to please with Mac salad and potatoes so I enjoyed them. Plenty of flavor. This was the first time I've had food from Field House and now I absolutely want to go dine-in. Highly recommend! read more

The Poulsbo location is a gem! The Town & Country market here is so well organized and it entices customers with products and intriguing goods. I absolutely LOVE the layout of this market (maybe bc I was used to how Mill Creek is...) I was quite impressed. We tried Field House here and once again, did not disappoint from our first experience in Mill Creek. Both locations are EXCELLENT! I ordered the smoked salmon Benedict and it was scrumptious! The hollandaise sauce was EXCEPTIONAL! The BEST hollandaise sauce I've had! It wasn't tangy -- rather creamy and buttery. I was like "what is their recipe?" "It must be secret!" lol. The English muffins were flattened and not thick like a normal Benedict. I also had the Macrina Cinnamon roll which was delicious! Not too sweet, especially the cream cheese frosting. I appreciated that it was not slathered on like most cinnamon rolls. My bf had the full size of biscuits and gravy and the açaí bowl. We had both those at the Mill Creek location. We also loved our beverages! I got the matcha latte and he got the brewed coffee. We LOVE field house so much! I love their system of ordering and paying and just waiting for our order with the number and then you're good to go. My husband is a big fan of their BBQ, although he complains that it's expensive for what little you get. Very tasty, though! I do wish that they would add to their choices of sides - perhaps some mashed or diced potatoes, or French fries? Battered and fried onions? Corn on the cob? I find the rest of the lunch and dinner offerings expensive and lackluster, though. Breakfast/brunch looks promising, though, I'll have to try! This is in a large, posh supermarket, so ambiance is not quite restaurant-like. A welcome addition, to be sure. read more

This is the new restaurant location inside the newly remodeled Town & Country Market in Poulsbo. It's on 10th Ave just off the 305. They have a great menu for all day nice casual fare. Breakfast is quite popular. We had lunch. Both ordered the grilled chicken sandwich. My wife's with fries and no bun mine with bun and salad. Chicken was grilled to order fresh and juicy. There were enough fries for two people and my salad could have been a lunch by itself. Everything was delicious! Service was super good order at the counter, take a number and find a place you like to sit; 2 or 4 top tables or at the bar and watch the food prepared. I enjoyed watching hand thrown pizza crusts. We came for the barbecue, and I am glad we did! The food was amazing! The brisket was soft and juicy, and the mac and cheese was amazing! The potato salad was okay, but not really much to rave over, although it was decent. I also tried the beans as well and they were pretty good! The arnold palmiers (a mix of black tea and lemonade for those who don't know) were great as well! The lemonade was quite sweet and tart, and the black tea was quite refreshing! Afterwards, we got dessert (most of which I sadly forgot to take pictures of), and they were all really good! The ice cream in the sundaes and root beer floats were really creamy and sweet, and the crème brûlée was heavenly, very creamy with a crunchy sugar layer on top which was really enhanced with the berries they put on top. 5/5 stars in the food department! The place was really nice, and had a cozy atmosphere. The place was really clean, and the restroom was also pretty clean. 5/5 stars for cleanliness and coziness! Service was great! The brisket and ribs came out pretty fast, along with the drinks and the crème brûlée and sundae! Although, it took half an hour just for 3 rootbeer floats to get out, which I can forgive as that order didn't reach the kitchen (they were in a separate order from the barbecue) and it seems to be a rare occurrence. 4.5/5 stars for service, rounded up to 5! The Field House is a diamond in the rough! The food amazingly good, especially the Brisket and the sides, Mac & Cheese and the beans equally tasty! The outer dining area is flanked by heaters so dining in cooler temps is not uncomfortable and the service is fast, if you're in a hurry and have grocery shopping to do afterwards or just like good food, this is the place for you!!! We stopped by Field House inside Town & Country today. Ordered a salmon BLT and bacon and blue burger. Both came with fries and both were $18. I was pleasantly surprised with the size of the salmon and it was cooked perfect! Bacon was good quality and was also cooked perfect on both. The Sauce on the burger was great and it was juicy! We were both a little disappointed in the fries as they tasted like they had just been sitting under a warmer, but they have great potential. You do need to buss your own table. We will definitely be trying this place out again. They do have a happy hour from 3 to 5 Monday through Friday and brunch on the weekends. My husband felt it was a little pricey. But liked the fact there was no tipping unless you left it on the table. And the ambiance was to be expected for a grocery store. read more

Before grabbing some fresh fruit from Town and Country I tried a breakfast sandwiches from the Field House Restaurant. I had Sunrise sandwich with egg, cheese, sausage on an English muffin. It was a great sandwich made fresh to order. Nice size sausage patty on fresh scrambled egg on a tasty toasted muffin. And, it was only $6!!! I had a peppermint mocha latte for drink and it was delicious also. There was a miscommunication about my order, I was charged for extra drip coffee. I asked the server about it when she brought my sandwich and she took care of it bringing me a cash refund. I will definitely be back to try other sandwiches, yogurt parfait, and I saw biscuits and gravy on breakfast menu also. read more

Meh, ordered online breakfast here for pickup. I waited the 30 mins to drive there since Im five mins away, then waited another 25 for them to start my breakfast. Two coffees and two breakfast sandwiches. Midweek. Not busy at all. Employees didnt seem to care and the food reflected it ( how do you even make a bland sausage breakfast sandwich, Im not aure, but they did it)? Coffee was flat and Ive had better at truck stops-- it was def from a bulk packet. $20 for two-- spend $6 and drive to any other coffee drive thru in the area and get a better experience. We are long time patrons of Central Market, now Town and Country. We used to get the fish and chips, which were excellent and the pizzas (not Field House.) The pizzas were also excellent. Well, not sure what happened, but went to the Field House for a fish sandwich. Not good. Not sure what happened? I would not recommend. Same with the pizza. The pizzas used to be our Friday night go-to. Do not recommend. The toppings are very sparse. One pepperoni per slice. Limited other toppings as well. They must now have to limit the amount of topping ingredients to pay for the remodel. Very disappointed. Will be looking for a new go-to till things hopefully get better. read more

Been here three times now. Once just for coffee on the run--great. Once for lunch--fish & chips & the steak salad to go. Fish & chips were good. Steak salad had too much dressing--should automatically put it on the side for to go orders. I didn't think to ask. Today, I stopped in the way to the airport. My husband had the Sunrise Breakfast Sandwich with chorizo. Said it was outstanding and a great price for the size & quality. I had the smoked salmon bagel--yum! The bagel was perfectly toasted & there was no skimping on the salmon. Can't wait to sit down next time with a beer & try some of the other menu items. Fieldhouse is great addition to the limited restaurant & takeout options in Poulsbo. The wife and I checked out this place yesterday, and it's definitely not really worth it. I think they try to rope you in with the modern look, but that's all that it is. I ordered the bacon bleu burger and my wife ordered the veggie bomb pizza. My wife's pizza wasn't really anything to write home about. I don't think they let the dough ferment enough so it can be soft, fluffy and crunchy at the same time. It was basically similar in quality to Tutta Bella, another overhyped pizza place. The cook on my burger was not even close to what I ordered. I ordered my burger rare, and the cashier assured me they could do it that way, and even my receipt said rare. However, the burger that was served to me was definitely given to me well done. The dipping sauces for the French fries were ok, I got the truffle aioli and ranch. Being that the burger was so overcooked it actually needed the sauce and my coke I ordered to wash it down. A big disappointment being that for the same amount of money, there are better places to grab a burger. It's definitely not worth a special trip here, which is a shame because from time to time we do shop at town and country. read more

Tried the Bbq for lunch today. The brisket and ribs were fantastic. The black eyed pea salad was so salty it was inedible. I was in the Field House restaurant at town and country in Poulsbo this past Wednesday, and I witnessed Alyssa, who seems to be a manager or PIC of some sort, literally go up to a plate of food at a table where the person who ordered the dish had gone to the restroom, and take a French fry, and then licked her fingers. I almost can't believe I'm writing this and I wouldn't have believed this story myself had I not seen it with my own eyes. I made sure to get her name, and I'm going to be reporting it to Field House and Town and Country markets at Poulsbo tonight...horribly unsanitary establishment that might actually improve if Alyssa were to leave. They're getting better every day! 1st time in, food was good, service was disappointing. 2nd time in, food was delicious, service showed a glimmer of improvement. 3rd time in knocked out socks off! The Asian wings, naked, sauce on the side...so crispy, so clean. Waygu burgers? Yes please (easy on the sauce though, they come pretty wet). Salmon BLT hits the spot. That boozy slushy thing? So tasty. Don't rush to judgement based on early reviews from when they first opened. They have really worked to train their staff and hone their craft. The pepperoni pizza had the perfect balance of flop, crunch, and a solid undercarriage,if you know, you know. The grilled chicken sandwich was delicious with a subtle dijon flavor. The desserts, however, stole the show. My family and friends went there on a Saturday for lunch but come to find out their lunch menu doesn't start til 2pm?! We were like what? It was noon when we went menu was all for breakfast!
