    Jaeger schnitzel (lack there of)
    Charlize G.

What a cozy European space! Loved the music- mix of 70's and 80's rock; delicious taster flights, and amazing German food. Service was pretty slow but they were pretty busy with an influx of people so totally no worries there, I was too busy getting buzzed off of a mimosa flight. My boyfriend got the Wiener schnitzel and I ended up just getting a cucumber salad due to a meal plan I'm on (sad I know). I will say from me the cucumber salad was 10/10. Perfectly sour. My boyfriend loved the jaeger schnitzel as seen by the fully cleaned up plate. Great spot!

We went here for dinner our first night in Poulsbo. The restaurant is not easy to find from the street but a passerby explained that you need to go down a hallway then upstairs. That was helpful. The ambience is European (hence the name). We sat indoors although there is outside seating on a balcony overlooking the Main Street. I had the salmon, which came with mashed potatoes and cucumber salad. The salmon was perfectly cooked and the potatoes were delicious. The salad was good too. One negative was that I asked for potato soup as a starter but it came at the same time as my entree. The wife had the Shepard's pie and loved it. The meat was fall apart tender. The veggies were perfectly cooked. The crust was flaky and perfectly cooked. It was one of the best Shepard's pie I ever tasted. The kid had pasta with red sauce and liked it. The accompanying garlic bread was excellent. The entire menu was really enticing and I would love to eat there again. Overall, the food was 5 stars. The reason for 4 stars is that we waited a really long time to get our food and my starter soup came along with my salmon so I had to eat both simultaneously to avoid one getting cold. The reason for slow service was that there was only one waitress on duty for the entire restaurant. I did not count but she must have had 8 tables at least. She was working really hard but a person can only be stretched so much. I am not sure if another waitress did not show up or if they are always shorthanded.

Food The food Great and tasty. Service Josh, our server was great, attentive, serving with a smile, and friendly. He a is new employee and seems like he has being doing it for a while. Ambiance European accent, clean, and positive.

Stopped by here while exploring downtown for a quick bite and we had the full size pretzel with beer cheese and the Swedish meatballs plate. Was crowded but we were able to get a small table for 2 without much wait. Food is delicious and I would recommend coming for the vibes as well! Will def be back! Happy eating!

Wanted some beer and food before we headed out on our journey back home. Great selection of beers. Ordered a Jaeger Schnitzel and Kick'N Chicken. Crispy chicken and crispy pork cutlet. Generous with the meals. Only downside to the Jaeger Schnitzel was there was no sauce with it. We asked for sauce and they charged us $3.50 for the gravy. Waitress was great. Checked on us, didnt bother us. Overall, will come back.

Schnitzel and sides were all mixed together, and taste was pretty bland

After doing some some research and watching youtube videos, we were looking forward to visiting this place as a highlight to our day after 4th of July visit. Unfortunately, this place was a disappointment. I'd like to point out some pros and cons, hopefully for the owner to take away as positive suggestions for improvements. Pros: Friendly and hardworking staff. Good location in the middle of downtown. Cons: Servers were doing their best, but they were seriously overworked given the layout and conditions of the restaurant . Hostess was also very nice, but again overworked and struggled to help customers know how long they would need to wait, etc. Weiner Schnitzel, German Potato Salad, and Spaetzel were bland . Really bland. When we asked about this, they brought us a prepared cup of salt and pepper. Seems like we were definitely not the first to ask about this. There was only one restroom for both men and women. This caused some issues when we were there. Kitchen was disorganized.

This place was great! We came here for a late lunch on a Monday and got an array of things - pork schnitzel with red cabbage and spatzle (great), potato soup (great), swedish meatballs (great), and kase spatzle (good). Also had a festbier. Staff were friendly and the ambiance was fine. Would definitely come back.

Perfect spot for a quick snack. Mustard and beer cheese were the perfect sides for the pretzels and sausage. The Octoberfest beer was yum yum yum

I did not get the full experience since I just ordered to go. It looks like a fun place to dine at. Will certainly be back and bring some company next time. One will find the restaurant via an alley and up a flight of steep stairs. It was busy and the hostess who took my order seemed rushed and preoccupied. Nevertheless, the Classic Schnitzel served with lemon wedge, German Potato Salad, and red cabbage sauerkraut was delicious.

Once again I have to thank my fellow Yelpers for pointing me to a tasty destination. (Looking at you Hannah S!) Thanks to them I knew I was looking for an entrance down an alley. My SO totally missed it as I veered off and 'disappeared'. Once in the door a steep staircase up leads to the restaurant. A hostess stand at the top asks that you wait to be seated. On our week day visit in November, only a few tables were occupied and we got to choose our seats. The hostess was our waitress and the bartender. The kitchen is 'open' to the dining area via a 'pass thru' window for order pick-up by staff. The bar is small with only a few seats and a small area of tables. All together, at a guess, there are just over a dozen total tables for maybe a 50 person occupancy? The decor is a mix of European beer garden and gifts from regular customers. Our waitress was excellent. Very friendly and when I mentioned food sensitivities, she brought me a list the Chef created of possible allergens in their recipes. A welcome surprise. We both enjoyed our meals. Good quality. Tasty. The photo of my Salmon does not do justice to the size of this meal. The portion is large and I didn't eat all the potatoes because I was full. I would have liked more cucumber salad w/o the radish garnish. I love German cucmber salad w/dill dressing. This one was good. Just wish there was more. There is one restrrom for all at the top of the stairs. A couple of highchairs are available for small guests. Paeking on street or in a nearby public lot. Full bar, German beer on tap, good food, good service.

Food was okay, not the best European food we've had. Our server was friendly! Lots of leftovers to take home so portions were plenty!

This chowder was so delicious!!! It's rich and buttery with chunks of clams and potatoes. The pickled cukes were super tart.

    Jägerschnitzel mit spätzel und sauerkraut

The atmosphere itself is pretty neat. There is some vintage posters on the wall and other European type decoration scattered throughout. Ordered the Bavarian pretzel with the beer cheese. It was quite good and came out super hot. The mustards and beer cheese were also delicious. For my main course, I ordered the Jägerschnitzel with spätzel and sauerkraut. The breading on the schnitzel was very flour and lacked seasoning, which made the otherwise juicy cutlet taste dry. I would probably order something else on a return trip.

We grabbed seats at the bar, where Freddy--bartender, hero, and possible Jedi--was holding it down solo. At first, we were the only ones there, living our best VIP lives. But 20 minutes in, a wild birthday party appeared! Chaos? Maybe. Freddy? Cool as a cucumber in a walk-in fridge. Despite the madness, he still made time for us like we were the stars of the show. We ordered the Swiss burger and the Fire burger. Let me tell you: that homemade hot sauce doesn't mess around. It's the kind of spicy that humbles you--one bite in, and I was ordering another beer, not for the buzz, but for survival. Painfully delicious. The vibe? Totally vibing. The food? Fire (literally). Freddy? A legend. We'll definitely be back, hopefully with less hot sauce-induced tears and more high-fives.

You could get that at any single restaurant. Ambiance was worn down, with cheap, old, rickety tubular furniture... and it was loud. There was some karaoke going on. We couldn't converse. Not my scene. Service was slow. So, neither the view, nor the ambiance, nor the generic and boring food provide reasons to go back.

The tower rooms are very conveniently attached to the casino and easy to get back-and-forth to your room. If you stay in a Resort Room, that building is not attached and you have to walk through the parking lot to get to the casino. I would say that that's the only downfall during the winter time of staying over there. But that is where the pool is so it just depends on what you're looking for at your stay. I have no complaints about the room, very clean and nice decor. My husband wished there was room service for breakfast the next morning but that is not available. I also wish they had valet parking. There is not nearly enough parking in the parking lot so if you don't find parking, you have to park in the parking garage and then walk all the way around back in to the hotel. Hotel staff were very friendly and the checkout process was easy. The second part of this review is going to be on the service from my work holiday party. The room was beautifully set up and the food was delicious. The staff that were coming around refilling water and taking plates were very attentive and friendly. We really liked Richard. The one employee that we encountered was the bartender assigned to our room. My first encounter from her I thought she was just having a bad day and I let it go. Not welcoming or friendly at all. Not even a smile. But as the night went on people started talking and it seemed everyone was having a not so good encounter from Robyn. She did not ID anyone all night, except my coworker that asked for a mocktail. She was rude to some people and unprofessional to others. It just progressively got worse. Yes the management will be reaching out to the contact they have at the casino to let them know. I was just so taken back about how somebody could go out of their way to be so rude at a fun holiday party. Other than that, the experience was great and I would highly recommend renting an event room there. Is it worth the drive?...yes
