Wow! I never thought British food could taste so good! They let you taste everything. We only tasted 3 but decided on the Cottage Pie. Nice chunks of meat in a nice savory sauce with vegetables and topped with mashed potatoes. Includes a nice salad and a croissant. All dished cost $13.85! We shared the meal and were satisfied. We will definitely return.

Food is amazing and this guy is QUICK! For a cottage pie and 2 sodas plus a tip of 20%, it was $19. Has free samples of everything and is happy to give. Very nice guy.

Simple and delicious!! They have some seating on the sidewalk, and a convenient umbrella for the light rain. I loved the banger and mash: flavorful and hearty. And the service is efficient, as they proclaim!

    Ferries all day long.

Saucy sailor is a spectacular addition to downtown Kingston. The food is hot, delicious, and served up almost instantly once you get to the window. There's tons of outside seating for when it's not rainy. We like to get it to go, take it home and reheat it a few hours later, and it reheats perfectly. The ultimate comfort food, and the sauces: amazing! They are not called "saucy" for nothing. All their sauces for their different entrées are different, the curry spot on without being spicy. A warm chunk of bread to mop up the sauces with. Winter wonderful. Super charming people, delicious, food, and tons of fun.

The burger was just off the grill, the bun was super fresh and there wasn't an entire onion like most McD's likes to pile on their burgers. The pop wasn't melted down by a full cup of ice - sad that I have to point that out as a bonus. The fries were just made, too. I will stop by this place again when I'm passing through.

I spent all day fighting Seattle traffic with a newborn. The only thing keeping me going was the thought of my McDonald's Cookie Tote waiting for me at home. That tote wasn't just dessert... it was emotional support. I sent the man of the house to pick up dinner. Sweet, innocent soul. He walks through the door with nuggets, burgers, fries... the whole feast. He gets to the bottom of the bag... Nothing. No Cookie Tote. Y'all... I went through every stage of grief in about 12 seconds. So I called McDonald's. Employee: "You can come back and get them." Sir... respectfully... have you ever tried loading a newborn into a car seat for cookies? Because I have, and the answer is absolutely not. I asked if I could just get a refund or swing by tomorrow. He says, "I can send you a coupon." "Perfect," I thought. This man puts me on hold for 1 minute and 47 seconds, comes back, and asks for my mailing address. My... mailing address. You mean to tell me my Cookie Tote is now traveling by the United States Postal Service? So instead of eating my cookies tonight, I'm apparently entering a waiting period while the Pony Express delivers my compensation. Ten years of loyalty... and this is how our relationship ends. Thoughts and prayers are appreciated during this difficult time.

Steve got a chicken sandwich that was good. I got a hamburger with kimchi. It was excellent but I forgot the name of the burger. I saw a pork sandwich option on the menu that had kimchi but that wasn't the same thing... so just read the menu carefully if what I had sounds good. There are lots of options to pick from so take your time. We also split an order of French Fries which were great! For our sweet tooth we got an Amaretto Milkshake and it was excellent! We really enjoyed this one! It was non-alcoholic and we got this particular one because this was a flavor one doesn't usually associate with milkshake options. We are so glad that we got to try it! The Grub Hut is very, very popular or at least it was when we were there and there was a small line to place our order, very little room to sit and the wait time to get our food was about 25 minutes. We didn't think that was too bad and we thought it was "johnny on the spot" timing at work to tell us that at the time that the order was placed. And I suppose they have it down to an art and need to give out times like this as this restaurant is right by the ferry terminal and Kingston so I imagine a lot of people who are using the ferry need that kind of information to plan accordingly with their meals and arrival/departure times with the ferry.

We had made a reservation in advance but arriving just before 6pm it didn't seem necessary. The restaurant dining rooms are huge with plenty of space. There is also a big bar area with even more space. I bet that area is fun when there is a football game being broadcast. We were seated at a large, comfy booth and given menus that perhaps had too many options to choose from. Our server greeted us and took our drink order of margaritas and a beer for me. These showed up quickly and we placed our dinner orders. I ordered chicken tacos with beans and rice with their in house made flour tortillas. Surprisingly, this is a DIY dish where you cut the chicken breasts into strips to make your own along with lettuce, pica de gallo, and guacamole. The tacos were delish and I also enjoyed the rice and refried beans. The latter were not too heavy and hit the spot. My wife ordered surf and turf street tacos and approved highly of those. My son-in-law ordered a burrito that was huge but somehow he managed to finish it. My daughter got her favorite, quesadillas which were also great. I had heard about the fried corn, but couldn't find it on the menu, anywhere. I finally asked, and the cashier said that they have it. It would be awesome if they would put it with the sides on the menu, then. I got the regular size instead of a large, since I've never had anything like it before. It was really good! It had a lot of Cajun seasoning on it. They have one of those fountain pop machines where you can mix whatever flavors of a whole bunch of different kinds of pop. I mixed citrus mello yello with lime mellow yellow. It was a successful experiment. Unfortunately, the wings were really average. They were a little tough and dry, and they weren't really flavorful. The Hawaiian didn't have a lot of sauce on it, and the sauce just wasn't really packed with flavor. The Louisiana rub had more flavor, but it was in the grease that dripped off of the wings. I basically had to dip the wings into the grease on the paper in the basket to get any flavor. I might be willing to give another flavor a try, in the hopes that it was just a fluke that the wings were unimpressive, as long as I can have the corn again.
