I had my first Wingstop experience today. I had a six-piece traditional wings with three Hawaiian and three Louisiana Rub. I had heard about the fried corn, but couldn't find it on the menu, anywhere. I finally asked, and the cashier said that they have it. It would be awesome if they would put it with the sides on the menu, then. I got the regular size instead of a large, since I've never had anything like it before. It was really good! It had a lot of Cajun seasoning on it. They have one of those fountain pop machines where you can mix whatever flavors of a whole bunch of different kinds of pop. I mixed citrus mello yello with lime mellow yellow. It was a successful experiment. Unfortunately, the wings were really average. They were a little tough and dry, and they weren't really flavorful. The Hawaiian didn't have a lot of sauce on it, and the sauce just wasn't really packed with flavor. The Louisiana rub had more flavor, but it was in the grease that dripped off of the wings. I basically had to dip the wings into the grease on the paper in the basket to get any flavor. We have heard great things about Wingstop and wanted to give it a try. It was OK but not worth trying a second time. We had 4 different flavors of the boneless wings, garlic Parmesan, Hawaiian, hot honey, and Mild. There was not much sauce on the wings and there was hardly any flavor. The Hawaiian had some flavor and the Hot Honey did if you got a piece with sauce on it. The rest just tastes like chicken plain chicken nuggets. The Cajun fried corn was a little greasy but that had amazing flavor. Overall we were disappointed. The food was not bad, it just wasn't my the flavor experience we expected. We split an order of fries The Lemon Pepper wings were very flavorful and not too greasy at all. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed in the Korean wings; I expected spicier. But, one interesting point is that the heat level grew as I ate more wings. So, slow after burn. The fries were the biggest issue for me. Service is quick and efficient. The place is very clean and tidy. I came here to rate their new chicken sandwiches to see how they stack against the other competitors. I tried the spicy Korean and it was solid, not as spicy as I'd expected. Lots of pickles, comes with ranch or blue cheese to help moisten the bite which is much needed. Excellent for opening day. Very busy! Yet they were on point. Friendly employees that greet enthusiastically when you come in and when you leave. Good knowledge of the menu items. Supervisor support available but not overwhelming the first day on the job employees and first day open. Menu was extensive with wing seasonings for both bone in and boneless. Seasonings and sauces were varied for choice to make most people happy. I wish a larger variety of sides was available. Finally, I must add it is the first time in my many years living in N. This place is the biggest scam. They called as we were on on our way to pick up our order (2 minutes before it was due) to tell us that they were out of wings. But they can't give me a number for corporate claiming it doesn't exist and that now I have to wait to wait a week for them to call their manager and request a refund. We ordered directly through the wingstop website, not through DoorDash or anything like that. Employees blatantly lied stating that they aren't allowed to give out corporates phone number. They stole our money. We literally got nothing and there is no way to get a refund from these bumbling morons who can't even decide who the actual manager at the store is. Was happy to learn of a local wing spot. However when we went to get our order that we placed online, the worker stated they needed to add another bag around the existing bag that contained our order because of the grease. My thoughts were 1) why didn't you just repack the order entirely before the guest even arrived? 2) why is there so much grease? Then we opened our food and it was awful. About 3 tablespoons of grease in each 15 piece (mind you, we ordered dry rub on both) and grease spilled all over the bag, and eventually soaked through the second one. Was super excited to bring back all the college glory day memories with this location so much closer to home. Easily placed an order online for pickup at my time of choice. We arrived a few minutes early and my order was already prepared (in advance of the scheduled pickup time) so I was in and out in a jiff and on my way. Got all the way back to Bremerton before realizing my order of veggie sticks had been omitted. Shame on me for not removing the covid staple on my bag to confirm before I headed out. Called asap and was told by Gigi they could replace them for me if I wanted to come back OR she could put a credit on file for 30 days. Refund was not an option. Ugh. Wasn't super thrilled with either option knowing how frequently I get to Poulsbo so she offered 60 days which I appreciated. Ordered from here a handful of times both online and in person. Sadly there's been numerous times where their cheese machine has been out so you can't get voodoo fries. Sad that the cheese just can't be measured out. (Almost walked out without ordering anything else as I was craving those fries) Put a order in for a meal for two and asked for some corn as well. After ordering I stood there waiting for my cup drinks in which I was looked past for the next person to order, like I was invisible at that point. Customer service felt very stale. The workers are in the back just messing around and there's maybe 2 doing there job out of all the staff there's usually I believe around 8-10 employees but I'm not sure. Just to set the tone I got all boneless, I was kind of on the run and didn't feel bone in was appropriate I got a order of 15 wings (boneless) with 3 different sauces. I love how you can pick as many or little of your wings to have sauces. I picked 5 traditional Buffalo, 5 Bayou BBQ, and 5 Garlic Parmesan. I got the side order of corn, and a side order of Voodoo Fries. I got a side of Ranch and Honey Mustard both are perfect pair for the sauces they offer! Let's start with the wings. They were all delicious, perfectly sauced, but still had some crunch to the breading. Bayou BBQ I though would be a little spicy per there fire meter on the menu, but it was sweet and perfect. Little kick but not a lot. The Buffalo was tasty, really good traditional Buffalo. The garlic parm are a dry wing, which is fine. They were delicious but definitely would have preferred a garlic parm sauce over a dry seasoning toss. The corn. so good, perfect little bites of deliciousness. They have the Cajun seasoning and honestly it's the perfect combination with the sweet corn. I wish they were bigger pieces, but they are still really freaking good! The voodoo fries are tossed in Cajun seasoning, topped with cheese and ranch. These were really good, you have the option to get them extra crispy, and I didn't. I probably would next time. We ordered a combo of classic bone-in wings; BBQ, Garlic Parm, and Traditional Hot Wings. Fries and veggies were also included. The fries were delish, we loved the seasoning. The veggies were fresh and the blue cheese dressing was tasty. However the wings were quite dry and a bit disappointing. The garlic parm wings had barely a hint of garlic flavor, while the traditional hots were probably the mildest I've ever had. The BBQ wings were not quite as dry as the other two, maybe the sauce helped with that, I don't really know. All in all it wasn't a terrible meal, but it didn't meet our expectations, unfortunately.
