    Just sat down, fast service
    Mel M.

I walked to this restaurant from a location nearby where I was having my motorcycle service. It was around 1 PM and there was a few tables happening. Greeted at the door seated quickly, chips and salsa appeared out of thin air. A delightful margarita served in a big glass came next. The extensive menu Was gorgeous, I chose the chimichanga with the chicken. The food appeared extremely fast, hot and delicious. Rice beans, guacamole sour cream. I may have actually licked the plate. Highly recommend this location.

Managed to get on an earlier ferry from Edmonds than expected so we stopped in here for dinner before a bioluminescent kayaking trip that evening. The restaurant is large with nice decor and friendly staff. We were served chips, salsa, and beans when we were seated - the salsa was tasty and the beans were interesting: they tasted very heavily of meat, like a ton of beef fat or something was used, and it wasn't until the beans were cooled down that they started tasting like beans. I still can't decide if I liked it or not. I ordered the fiesta bowl with carne asada and had the option of sliced avocado or guacamole, so I chose guacamole. It was a hearty serving, despite it looking small, but I think that's mostly because the bowl was gigantic to begin with. There was nothing spectacular about this dish, and the meat wasn't anything special. There wasn't a ton of flavor even after adding all of the salsa verde and mixing in some hot sauce. It was filling and wasn't terrible given the limited options we had on that side of the water at that time. Would I be back? Probably not unless that was my only choice.

The big go-to Mexican restaurant in town. Huge menu, huge building, fully renovated in 2023 and looks like a fancy fancy Mexican restaurant. Great for large parties and lots of Instagram picture opportunities. Wish I took inside photos. All the lanterns and wall murals are beautiful. I was so happy with the complimentary refried bean dip and it was warm! The tacos were amazing! So full of ingredients, not the mention big slice of avocado AND guacamole scoop.

I've seen this place several times has I passed by on my way to the Kingston ferry. Decided to check this place out as the ferry was 1 hour behind schedule. Parking was abundant, the interior decor had that Spanish villa style, very cool. The bathroom was clean and also posses that Spanish villa style. The place was clean, the food was amazing and the service was immediate. Will visit this place again!

Enchilada and taco combo. Decent flavor, overly salty, and taco was soggy.

Very busy, and service was pleasant but spotty. Had to flag down help for basic items several times before we could eat. Food tasted pretty good but was overly salty. Loved the real guacamole. Taquitos were burnt and bland. Would not recommend. Taco was soupy and soggy. Burrito was great. I'd recommend steering away from the combos and sticking to their specialty entrees. Would return, but would not order the same thing.

The staff at this restaurant are very accommodating and friendly. The restaurant is very clean and located in a great area, but the food is satisfactory. I ordered a combination meal consisting of Carne Asada steak and a shrimp with mushroom dish. The Carne Asada was extremely tough and not very flavorful, my shrimp and mushroom dish mostly consisted of mushrooms and a few shrimp. I really enjoy Mexican food, so this experience was disappointing.

It's different. So I have no Mexican decent but I would like to think I know a little on Mexican food. I've live in San Diego for almost forever, been to Mexico just as long, visited Texas more times than then I can count, and been to so many Mexican family parties I've gotten use to Dos Equis. But this is different. First the place is big. Plenty of dining area and I love the big wooden tables and chairs. Reminds me of Abuelo restaurant back in Virginia. I know you read that review. My issue is the food was something different. Like there was no flavor. I hate to say it but I needed salt on everything. First the carne asada burrito need salt and I wasn't expecting it wet. The meat was tough and filling pretty empty. The huevos con chorizo wasn't favorable. I had to drown that dish with the salsa I got with the chips. Overall three stars. Food wasn't as tasteful as I've hope but if you have a big gathering. This place will accommodate. Just have salt on standby. Now excuse me, I need some water.

Enjoying a nice sunny day in Hansville. We sat outside which is dog friendly. Service was great. Our waitress was timely and attentive. Our food was delivered quick and hot. I tried the grilled fish tacos. My son had their asada burrito, wet. The meat portion was generous and everything was very tasty. We really enjoyed our lunch.

Really cool decor and even has a little tortilla making area for people to watch as they make them. Lunch prices are awesome but the food is just ok. The guacamole was ok, ground beef taco was ALL beef without room for lettuce or tomatoes or anything else. Cheese enchilada was made with cheddar cheese instead of Monterey Jack. Salsa was pretty good though. The margaritas were lacking in flavor though

I asked to place an order to go and the guy went in the back and asked whoever was there and came back and said no. His reason was because it was a slow day and "didn't feel like making more food". Never experienced anything like this before. You want great tacos and birria? Go to Jessicas Taqueria in Silverdale. Her business hours are legitimate and won't refuse service because of laziness. My husband and I came here last evening craving for some tacos. Growing up in the bay area in Cali, tacos are a huge hit and I can definitely say a small place like this in Washington really did their thing. Tacos were good. The birria tacos were okay but definitely were a little dry and definitely could've had more meat and cheese. The consomme was very bland so dipping the birria tacos in it didn't really make the tacos taste any better. Burrito was okay however, it was very flat. Flavor was definitely there and was really tasty. I just wish there were more ingredients added. Honestly it felt like I was eating a quesadilla rather than a burrito. My husband had cocktail which he liked very much and I had horchata. Horchata was good but a tad bit grainy. Our server was very nice! Service definitely was great. We were served our food very fast and even then the food was HOT! This spot is very compact and intimate. Would not recommend for larger parties 4+. All in all tacos were the star of the show. Would return just for the tacos only and horchata.

The restaurant itself is pretty interesting inside with graffiti type art on the walls and bright vibrant booths. I ordered 6 street tacos, 2 chicken, 2 chorizo, and two ground beef. All were incredibly delicious. I had the habanero hot sauce (which is a 4 out of 5 for them) on all proteins. Its SUPER good. Just the right amount of heat for me, but probably not for folks who are sensitive to hot foods. Had the Chile de Arbol on the chicken, and it went really nicely with that. Last I put some Chipotle on a ground beef taco, and while it wasn't my favorite, it still added a nice smokey flavor and mild spice. Overall, a very positive experience and a place I will certainly be back to!

The ambiance is attractive and we were immediately greeted and seated upon our arrival. There is a private lot. I started with an exotic drink with mezcal and fresh blackberries since this is blackberry country. I forget the name but it is on the picture. It was delicious. The wife had Passion Fruit and it was also delicious. For entrees, the wife had chicken mole and did not care for it. The chicken was bone-in which is normally fine, but she did not care for this chicken. The mole was very spicy. There is a difference between flavorful with a kick or slow burn, but this was overtly spicy. She did not eat much and did not take it home. I had an exotic dish which I don't remember the name but it was essentially a chicken stew served in mortar bowl. Rice and black beans came on the side, but I added them to the stew to make it thicker. It was delicious. Very flavorful with a slow burn. If the review were based on this dish alone, it would be 5 stars. Our server was attentive and helpful. Take the humble grain bowl using Ukrainian buckwheat "Kasha" with fermented vegetables. With the expert "curing" of the vegetables evident by taste, and glazed with a lovely nutty sauce, it is both simple, and yet profound. Similarly a recent soup of tomatillo and zuchini, cut by black beans, corn, and tortilla strips both tasted familiarly Mexican, but also stretched the palate and feel healthy like all traditional foods. Menu standards like the fermented "kimchi waffle fries", are fun to eat, but each week she introduces exciting and ecclectic plates - once "rabbit" was on the menu. This is exceptional food, but not in the rarefied, experimental way of expensive haute cuisines, rather they draw on deep cultural food traditions. The range of flavors is much more sophisticated and pleasing to my palate than anything else I have tasted across Kitsap county. The sauer kraut chocolate cake? wow. The fermented hot sauces? Delicious. The gyro plate with smoked beet baba-ganoush, and the adjika (Georgian savory herb) sauerkraut layered with tzatziki is a virtual Berlin nightclub party in the mouth. You can pair the food with exquisite house fermented kvass or kombuchas. I highly recommend the "linden blossom" one which is a traditional Ukrainian taste. The chef's sure hand embraces cooking techniques and spice combinations from not only the well-known Asian, Indian, Mexican and Mediterranean spectrum, but also extends to the more unusual such as The Republic of Georgia --one of the world's oldest wine producers and known for its incredible cuisine and food culture at the cross roads of central Asia and eastern Europe. My only sadness is their limited opening hours from Wednesday to Saturday and only until 7:00 pm. This food truck is worth traveling the ferry to Kingston from the east Puget Sound.

This place is very heavy on the legumes of all kinds, and on pickled and fermented goods. It's really their "thing". This ranges from the more typical (pickled veggies, kombucha, kimchi) to the really odd (sauerkraut chocolate cake, and such). There were Eastern European dishes, which was cool.
