We had made a reservation in advance but arriving just before 6pm it didn't seem necessary. The restaurant dining rooms are huge with plenty of space. There is also a big bar area with even more space. I bet that area is fun when there is a football game being broadcast. We were seated at a large, comfy booth and given menus that perhaps had too many options to choose from. Our server greeted us and took our drink order of margaritas and a beer for me. These showed up quickly and we placed our dinner orders. I ordered chicken tacos with beans and rice with their in house made flour tortillas. Surprisingly, this is a DIY dish where you cut the chicken breasts into strips to make your own along with lettuce, pica de gallo, and guacamole. The tacos were delish and I also enjoyed the rice and refried beans. The latter were not too heavy and hit the spot. My wife ordered surf and turf street tacos and approved highly of those. My son-in-law ordered a burrito that was huge but somehow he managed to finish it. My daughter got her favorite, quesadillas which were also great. Our server was awesome and checked in on us frequently. There was an assistant who kept our waters topped off as well. We can't wait to return and sample more off their menu.

What a feast, for the eyes, the tongue, and the intellect. We were greeted by the owner of the restaurant who brought us menus and water. When he came to take our order he offered a quick lesson in how to roll our "rr"s. It was fun and we all enjoyed the conversation. The place is painted in bright colors with bold images, and everything was clean. The menu has many options, we got Hard Tacos, Street Tacos, and Taco Duro. Everything was tasty, the consume (extra) with the Taco Duro was very good too. Convenient location, great staff, wonderful food. We'll be back.

The restaurant itself is pretty interesting inside with graffiti type art on the walls and bright vibrant booths. I ordered 6 street tacos, 2 chicken, 2 chorizo, and two ground beef. All were incredibly delicious. I had the habanero hot sauce (which is a 4 out of 5 for them) on all proteins. Its SUPER good. Just the right amount of heat for me, but probably not for folks who are sensitive to hot foods. Had the Chile de Arbol on the chicken, and it went really nicely with that. Last I put some Chipotle on a ground beef taco, and while it wasn't my favorite, it still added a nice smokey flavor and mild spice. Overall, a very positive experience and a place I will certainly be back to!

We started with some tasty cocktails, including the jalapeño margarita. The food menu was extensive, offering a variety of options. We started with some chips, salsa, and guacamole before settling on the chile rellenos and the enchiladas, which we all thoroughly enjoyed. The portions were quite large, allowing us to take some home for a midnight snack. On the evening that my group visited, the restaurant was quite busy, but our wait was only a few minutes. The wait staff was friendly, prompt and attentive. If in the Edmonds area, Casa Oaxaca is a great option for a nice meal.

There was no one in the restaurant and one server. She was helpful and nice. The music was appropriate for the vibe and they also had tvs with closed captions on them. I was a little shocked that when we ordered diet sodas, we were given some ice in a cup ... and a 12 oz can of diet soda. That wasn't my issue with the soda, the fact that I paid $3.50 for each can of soda... was a bit alarming. I'm all about supporting small businesses, that's the reason why we tried this place. BUT, I don't think it should cost $70 for 2 people for lunch. on a more positive note... the bathrooms WERE clean!

I know it sounds silly to say that chips can stand out, but the chips here have so much seasoning on them, and are always fresh. They don't come free, but they are well worth purchasing them for your table, and they still do free refills once you do. Also their birria tacos are amazing. They're huge and so full of meat, the consomme is delicious and flavorful. This place is one of my all time favorite mexican restaurants. It's not the fanciest, not the flashiest, but it's one of the best around.

Individuals behind me were taken first because they had to go orders. The menu does not reflect actual food prices. The rice and beans is shown as $7.25 but they charge $7.30. The chips and salsa show up as 4.13 but are charged as $4.25. There is a taco plate (which is what I ordered) on the menu for $12.43, but the very official printer paper taped in front of the register shows $12.99 (which is the actual charge). The menus are on tvs, so I wouldnt imagine it would be that difficult to update. The amounts aren't substantially different, but it's a little deceptive. It took 11 minutes for my order to be ready, which is pretty fast given the amount of customers they had. The rice and beans tasted like they came from the same supplier as many other. restaurants, they're fine but unremarkable. The chips were pretty tasty, but the salsa seemed quite watery. The tacos themselves were ok. Nothing special. The chicken tasted like it hadn't been seasoned at all. The red sauce for the tacos had zero spice. The habanero sauce tasted almost the same as the red sauce. The most spicy thing that came with the tacos was the grilled jalapeño, but that and the grilled onions just seemed weird and out of place. Think I will find a new taco place when I visit Poulsbo.

Take the humble grain bowl using Ukrainian buckwheat "Kasha" with fermented vegetables. With the expert "curing" of the vegetables evident by taste, and glazed with a lovely nutty sauce, it is both simple, and yet profound. Similarly a recent soup of tomatillo and zuchini, cut by black beans, corn, and tortilla strips both tasted familiarly Mexican, but also stretched the palate and feel healthy like all traditional foods. Menu standards like the fermented "kimchi waffle fries", are fun to eat, but each week she introduces exciting and ecclectic plates - once "rabbit" was on the menu. This is exceptional food, but not in the rarefied, experimental way of expensive haute cuisines, rather they draw on deep cultural food traditions. The range of flavors is much more sophisticated and pleasing to my palate than anything else I have tasted across Kitsap county. The sauer kraut chocolate cake? wow. The fermented hot sauces? Delicious. The gyro plate with smoked beet baba-ganoush, and the adjika (Georgian savory herb) sauerkraut layered with tzatziki is a virtual Berlin nightclub party in the mouth. You can pair the food with exquisite house fermented kvass or kombuchas. I highly recommend the "linden blossom" one which is a traditional Ukrainian taste. The chef's sure hand embraces cooking techniques and spice combinations from not only the well-known Asian, Indian, Mexican and Mediterranean spectrum, but also extends to the more unusual such as The Republic of Georgia --one of the world's oldest wine producers and known for its incredible cuisine and food culture at the cross roads of central Asia and eastern Europe. My only sadness is their limited opening hours from Wednesday to Saturday and only until 7:00 pm. This food truck is worth traveling the ferry to Kingston from the east Puget Sound.

We had seen it for a long time and been meaning to try, but being workers with a long commute, the early closing time + limited schedule just didn't work for us. When we did get to go, the $20 salads just did not satisfy. Dinner for two rang at about $65 and all and it's just really too high a price for what you get, especially from a food truck. This place is very heavy on the legumes of all kinds, and on pickled and fermented goods. It's really their "thing". This ranges from the more typical (pickled veggies, kombucha, kimchi) to the really odd (sauerkraut chocolate cake, and such). There were Eastern European dishes, which was cool. Others were Mediterranean. So, a bit all over the place. If you are not a fan of pickled and fermented things, I'd suggest that you pass, because there's nothing on the menu for you!
