Clams, Oysters, bread-bowl clam chowder, prawn cocktail and draft Coconut Stout were superb. Excellent Service. Ordered by phone once sat at table. Great experience.

I had a chill dinner with friends on a Friday night. Order from a QR code or head straight up to the counter, if you have questions. We ordered the pound of mussels, which were well cooked and plump, though there was one that was closed - the sauce wasn't that flavorful, as it was mostly butter and I felt like it was missing some herbs. Crab roll was refreshing and good on a buttery brioche, would order again. Bowl of clam chowder was delicious, I liked the texture of the veggies as they were chopped into smaller pieces and cooked well. Slices of bread were the cherry on top! We were indecisive about the oysters, so we got a flight with 3 of each Sweet Creaks, Cairns, Sapphires, and Miyakis. These took a while to arrive, and we were almost done with our entrees by the time we dug into these, but they were deliciously fresh and came with two mignonettes. With three beers, tip, and a credit card fee, our total came it about $150 which felt like a lot for the experience. Service-wise, folks were friendly behind the counter but nobody checked in on us and we went up to the counter to grab extra plates, waters, etc.

Get their clam chowder, a MUST. Especially if you appreciate chunky chowder with a ton of flavor. Their drink selection is decent, with several good drafts on tap. Service is terrific - very friendly and attentive. Personal preferences: The fish tacos could use some chopped jalapeño salsa and the grilled tuna should include the horseradish mayo on the side, rather than added upon serving.

Had between 2, dozen raw, dozen baked, in garlic butter, parmesan, Amazing, well presented, and cold lager, yummy, want to try mussels next time, reasonable pricing

Had the rockfish tacos and poke. Food was a bit overpriced and mediocre. The rockfish tacos were a bit plain. The rice for the poke could be softer and the sauce was a bit too pungent with horseradish.

Everything was delicious. I am a picky oysters eater, I like this size. I really couldn't tell the difference with the sauce but it was delicious. I had a taste of the crab melt, good. Fish tacos were tasty and too filling for me especially while trying to also eat the clam chowder. Clam chowder was a creamy chunky goodness. The root beer was yummy too (not pictured) I would come back! Space inside and out. Ordered at the bar or from your phone.

Clam chowdah. More clams than chowdah, which is exactly what you need.

You know that daydream you have about vacation, when you're sitting in the sun and salt water is not far away and you're having a cold adult beverage with family or friends... and work, dirty laundry, bills, and that weird noise your car is making that sounds expensive seem like they don't even exist anymore? This place tastes like that feeling. We had the steamed Manila clams, which were perfectly cooked and came with an abundance of salty buttery cooking juice that you need to soak bread in. Pro tip, ask for extra bread. We have the clam chowder, which was generously studded with both clams and potatoes. Probably as many clams as potatoes which is awesome because clams are expensive. My son had the crab melt, which was the same crab salad I had in the crab roll, but warm and served on toasted ciabatta with melted cheddar. I had the crab roll which was served on a toasted brioche bun. It was delicious and fresh not frozen crab meat with just enough mayonnaise to get it to hold together. It is counter service, so keep that in mind. Nevertheless the service was attentive despite the Sunday afternoon vacation crowds. Life is definitely better if you have a salty girl in your life!

Love everything about this restaurant! The food was delicious the service was amazing and the food was quick as well! We went here during pride month so there was party favors all over the table which was great cause the kids loved it. They were super distracted. The waitress even let you keep the favors at the end. The chowder was sooo packed with lots of potatoes, clams, and I think I even saw bacon. It wasn't soupy at all and very filling; not super salty as well. A must if you go there. The oysters were soo fresh but some were a bit bitter might be the season itself. I loved the ahi poke as well. The ahi was fresh and the sauce gave it a kick of spice. Good balance with the rice however. The crab roll was decent as well. It taste exactly like a tuna salad. Chips were a bit salty though. I think the crab melt was better. Get the dole whip if you come!! Soooo good and large as well if you get it to stay.

Super chill place, good music and great casual dining. We all had chowder bowls with bread. So good, so many great flavors! Some of the best chowder I've ever had and I've had a bunch! Homemade ROOTBEER that is on tap was AWESOME a little spendy but really good.

Very good clam chowder with lots of goodies. Chunky the way I like it. The crab melt is topped with a dusting of old bay seasoning. A good amount of crab. Their bread/toasts have really good wheaty flavor. Prices not bad for the amount you get.

Just finished an amazing lunch at Salty Girls. I had the Crab Melt- the BEST Ever!!! But really what made it GREAT was the whole experience- You should see how this team HOPS. They work together like a well oiled machine. I was there on probably the most hectic weekend of the year- Lavender Festival. But, these busy workers seemed un-phased by the hungry crowd. They kept up with the pace; dancing around each other like a well rehearsed scene. Questions asked and answered over and over- smiles on faces; tables laid and cleared; peopled welcomed and helped promptly- You sure couldn't ask for more... The best thing of all; the food was delicious!!!!

When you're by the coast, you have to get seafood right? And that starts with fresh oysters! Salty Girls gets there are oysters, fresh daily, and you can tell. I ordered half a dozen oysters and a crab roll. The oysters were fresh and delicious, shucked right when I ordered them. I thought the crab roll was okay, just felt like it was missing a little bit of flavor, but it was still prepared well. The restaurant is a small operation, and I placed my order using a QR code, but you can also place an order at the bar. The server was also shucking the oysters, so ordering using the QR code saves time. I didn't mind it and service was really fast and friendly.

Baked Oysters with Seasonal Compound Butter Flight & Lavender Lemon Cocktail Fish tacos in the background
    Emily F.

Stopped by here after visiting one of the lavender farms! We got the baked oysters with two types of butter--garlic Parmesan butter & Chipotle bourbon butter. The garlic Parmesan was our favorite but the chipotle was good too! My dad had the clam chowder and prawn cocktail, both were great. My mom got the fish tacos & they were pretty good! I got the ahi poke because I wanted something a bit more simple after the buttery oysters & it was a solid amount of fish with some spicy wasabi mayo. If we're ever visiting the area again we will come back! Also the lavender lemon cocktail was absolutely delicious.

After a first attempt where a restaurant's hours were not updated, we found Stymie's in Sequim. It's one of the restaurants at Cedars at Dungeness golf course (the other one is Double Eagle Steak and Seafood). It seems to be the more casual of the two options and we opted for it since we were in hiking clothes. The hostess told us we could walk in and try to find a table. She warned us it might be a long wait. Thankfully, we found a place to sit right away and a waiter gave us waters and a menu. We ordered cups of clam chowder to start. Thankfully they were out quickly. We got drinks while we waited for our food. The Dungeness crab Mac and cheese was listed as an appetizer, so we assumed it was a small portion. My husband got the fish and chips and I got pasta with shrimp. We got our entrees first, so we thought maybe the waitress had forgotten we ordered the Mac and cheese since they were so busy. She then apologized for the wait and said she'd be bringing it out shortly. We weren't planning on asking about it because their portions are very generous and even though we were hungry, we realized it was so much food. When the Dungeness crab Mac and cheese finally came out, it wasn't in a small cup, it was a whole bowl of delicious goodness. The Mac and cheese was resting in some sort of sauce and they were extremely generous with the crab. I loved that you could control the ratio with each bite. I wish I had taken pictures of the menu and its description, but all you need to know is that it's the BEST Mac and cheese I've ever had. I was floored that it wasn't mentioned in any review nor pictures. Maybe it's a new addition. Don't walk, RUN if you're nearby. You won't regret it and it will be worth the wait. I forgot all about my entree and just focused on the Mac.
