Really enjoyed Jasmine! There was only one server for the entire restaurant and to go order and she was an angel. So sweet and really knowledgeable! Ordered the butterflies, ginger stir fried, and pad see ew. The ginger stir fried was the favorite! The sauce had the perfect amount of fresh ginger. Food: My favorite dish was the Spicy Basil Noodle, I love those wide noodles. If your spice tolerance is low, I would recommend asking for either a 1 or 0, we ordered a spice level 2 and it was a bit too spicy for our friends. I however loved it. The only complaint I had would be there wasn't a lot of veggies in the noodle dish or basil stir fry. The flavors are delicious though, and the basil really does come through. Absolutely demolished the crab fried rice. Service: friendly and attentive staff. If you're sitting outside, be prepared to wait a little but it's worth it. Stopped by Jasmine Bistro on a long weekend, and it was packed--clearly a popular spot! Thankfully, we only had about a 20-minute wait to be seated, but once we were in, service was a bit slow. It took a while for our order to be taken and the food to arrive, though the staff was friendly and helpful throughout. I ordered the Thai Paella, which was delicious and beautifully presented. A flavorful mix of seafood and rice with that signature Thai twist--definitely worth trying. I was told the spice levels range from 1 (mild) to 5 (ghost pepper hot), and that 2 is medium and 3 is hot. I went with a 2 expecting a decent kick, but it was very mild for my taste. In hindsight, a 3 or even 4 would've been more satisfying if you're someone who enjoys real heat. Overall, great food and lovely ambiance, just be prepared for a bit of a wait if you're going during peak times. I'd definitely come back--but next time, I'm cranking up the spice! read more

Tl;dr - go here after hiking in Olympic NP and order seafood. I picked this place mostly for proximity in Port Angeles, not having super high expectations although their menu looked a little more interesting than the average Thai place. We ordered clams hot pot (spice level 2/3), Thai paella, and dungeness crab fried rice (both spice level 3/5). Confusing spice level scale, but the clams were a low-medium and the rices were a high-medium to me as an East (not Southeast) Asian with decent, not abnormally high spice tolerance. If you couldn't tell, I'm a big fan of seafood, and this place excelled in the freshness of their seafood. Delicious sauteed clams, unique "paella" rice flavors, tons of high quality picked crabmeat in the fried rice. Why not 5 stars: rhubarb margarita was fine but not exceptional, and they silently substituted broccoli for the listed snow peas in the crab fried rice. Good thing I was already loving the rest of the food because I despise broccoli. read more

I've been twice while visiting the area and the food is always so delicious. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The area is a little small so bigger groups should try to make a reservation! Vegetables are cooked really well, not over or underdone and they don't play about their spice levels! We were starving and thought "how can anyone mess up thai?" And then we tried Jasmine bistro. Pad see ew was fine after hiking 11 miles... but the wonton soup was still not edible. The vegetables in it were sour and I wasn't even sure if the pork wontons were cooked through. The soup base itself tasted like water, there was no seasoning at all. We had to toss the whole thing because we felt unsafe eating it. Waste of money! read more

Excellent restaurant! We came by after a day of hanging out at Lake Crescent. We got in at 6:20 and it was just filling up. By the time we were leaving at 7:30 there was a line and the expected wait for the first party was twenty minutes or so. We ordered the dungeness crab fried rice, mixed seafood stir fry, and green curry with chicken. All of the dishes were excellent (maybe a little on the saltier side for the fried rice?)- the seafood mix was especially nice because the mussels and clams were done to perfection, not at all chewy. We liked the green curry sauce flavor so much we ordered an additional bowl of rice to sop it all up. Very pleased with the place! read more

After enjoying a concert on the Pier we went in search of food. We could smell the spices calling us. We weee immediately seated. Thai tea and chicken satay ordered. The place was busy and I loved the upside down umbrella lights. Soon our food was before us. The wait staff kept our water glasses filled. The price was good. Pet friendly outdoor seating. You can tell the menu is fusion with Thai and other cuisine. We had the Seafood Paella and Pad See Ew. It was so good. After a failed attempt to reach Hurricane Ridge due to icy condition, we stopped at Jasmine Thai Bistro in Port Angeles on March 2022. Finding parking was easy since the restaurant is very close with other business and the ferry station. The restaurant was quiet at the time, so we were seated very quickly by our server. Food: 4/5 Service4/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Price: $$ ($14-$18) We ordered a couple dishes and all of them were great, except the eggroll was okay. The fried rice and pad see ew were the star of the show. Their portions are on the smaller side, so if you're really hungry I suggest you to order at least a couple dishes. The panang curry was not as strong as we expect, but still good! Our server (I believe her name is Nicole) was great. She was attentive, lovely, and willing to accomodate us (a group of seven). At the very end it was busy and the service was excellent untill the very end when we were ready to pay the check and leave. To start with , we ordered veggie fried rice and it came with tofu . We told them clearly that it's "veggie" but they put egg on it . Why would someone put egg on a veggie rice . We got the Pad See Ew and Yellow Curry. The noodles were soggy and unflavored and the yellow curry had actually no flavor whatsoever. They contained very limited ingredients, terrible flavor, and terrible texture (uncooked onions, and curdled??). I thought about having dinner at Jasmine Bistro tonight, but they were so busy that I decided to get take-out instead. Don't go there hungry, because it's a really long wait. I can't take off a star for that, because they're understaffed and the staff they had were doing a great job. I got the butterflies (crab cream cheese wontons) which came with plum sauce, and I paid 25 cents extra for each of two other sauces to try. The plum sauce it comes with is by far the best. I also had the spicy basil noodles with prawns and asked for it without tomatoes and mushrooms. I asked for extra basil, and she said it would be an extra dollar. I said that that was fine and I would take as much basil as a dollar would get me, but when I got home I saw on my receipt that they didn't even charge me that dollar. Ate here last weekend w/ my husband after a morning hike and visit to the Port Angeles Farmer's Market. We were very pleasantly surprised by our experience! Many of the other restaurants in the area seemed lackluster in their reviews or weren't open, but we're big fans of Asian cuisines so figured we'd try here. It's really a 4 star review but gets the 5th star for offering the option of half portions! We had a butterfly appetizer (light, creamy, great sauce!), chicken pad thai (very fresh!), and chicken fried rice (perfect ratio of each ingredient). We ate every last bite! Got two orders pad Thai. One chicken one tofu. Had to order zero stars because sharing with our kids. Pretty much no flavor and the noodles were under cooked. No peanuts no scallions. What a nice surprise. Great lil Thai restaurant right down near waterfront. I ordered the Red Curry with choice of protein and decided on Tofu and the level 3 spice (which I was told here, is Hot.) 5 is when the Thai ghost chili is brought in, so I'd suggest even if you seek heat like I do, try the 3 for perfect level of heat, it gets your attention for sure, but at least has flavor come through! The tofu was quality as well, it complemented the dish with a side of jasmine rice. Our service was excellent, in a land where so much is serve yourself, having great table service is so welcomed, waters refilled, friendly & checking on us. Love this place!
