I've been a customer Chung's teriyaki for over 10 years and I've always enjoyed the quality of the food. As usual, my server was fantastic and very friendly. Well, I normally get the PHO, today, I ordered a Banh Mi sandwich for the first time because the picture on the menu made it look like it was loaded with veggies... well the bread was nice, and the meat was very flavorful, however, the sandwich that they described on the menu was not what came to the table. There was no jalapeño, and I had to ask for cilantro... the sandwich had a very very small amount of vegetables on it. The pictures say it all.

I just love Chung's! Grew up eating here, my mom would always bring home the Hong Kong noodles. Moved back to Kitsap last year after being away for 10 years, and the food is as wonderful as I remember it! My husband and I love their spring rolls, and still indulge in the Hong Kong noodles at times as well. I just love the shrimp and chicken spring rolls though! So refreshing, filling, and affordable for how delicious they are. And always extra peanut sauce!!

It's a pretty big restaurant with lots of seating and windows. The atmosphere is rather quiet than most places but I didn't mind it all because I personally like eating alone without distractions. We came in at around say 7:40 after a good workout at the YMCA up the street. Any day is a good day for pho and teriyaki, so why not right? I got the steak and brisket pho and my friend got the beef fried rice. I can't say much about the beef fried rice, as it wasn't seasoned well and the portion is surprisingly small for the price. However, the pho I had was delicious! The broth was hot and so good; I couldn't stop drinking the soup. The brisket had parts of fat on it too, so it made the meat tender and juicy compared to most pho's that have the tougher chew. I'd definitely come back here for the pho. Maybe I'll give something else a try too.

First time to this place and I was very disappointed I got the pork teriyaki and it came with a big helping of an edible pork fat disappointed!

    Chicken teriyaki with extra cabbage

Every time I went there the cabbage tasted super abrasive and spoiled I think they're stirring the cabbage too long. The portions are decent and the taste is good if it weren't for the cabbage it totally ruins the meal.

I ordered the chicken and egg roll vermicelli bowl. It was SO terrible, I could not eat it. The noodles were rock hard, the chicken tastes burnt, there is hardly any lettuce in the bowl and what lettuce was there was wilted because of this terrible brown liquid on the bottom of the dish. It was drowned. The lobby is not open due to covid so I went through drive thru....otherwise I would return it. In the picture, you can see all the liquid ( I moved the lettuce ). My son ordered the tofu pho. It was not good but at least he could eat a little of it.

Kind of long wait for food that wasn't good. Noodles were dry and flavorless. The meat was all fatty and not even cut? So unimpressed.

Best Egg rolls. The rest is great, too. I usually get 12 and take the extras home. They're great cold from the fridge. Can't go wrong here.

I tried them all and they all are delicious and feel authentic to the Vietnamese culture. The Hot Stone Pho special broth was clear and flavorful and the noodles were just right. Not to soft or chewy. The Bun Bo Hue was delicious and very flavorful. The broth could be a little more spider but it was still delicious with the different cuts of meat and udon noodles. The Saigon Wings were really delicious and crispy. The right amount of fish sauce on them. The server was very nice to us and had a great experience here. They talked to us a lot , which made us like the place even more! Overall the service was excellent! The ambiance of the place was really nice. I loved the wooden theme of the inside and very open. They also had tables and chairs for people to sit outside but it was kind of raining the time I went so I want. Able to sit outside but good to know they have outside seating. My overall experiment is a 5/5. I would definitely come back here again.

The latte was so smooth and well balanced flavors, absolutely the best latte I have had in long time. Then I tried the donuts and they were very good. I haven't eaten donuts from bakeries near and far but never had Mochi variety. They are made using rice flour that gives the donut an elastic characteristic and chewy but very good. I had three different flavors - strawberry, raspberry, and chocolate. While I still would say I am a cake donut lover, I would always be willing to eat one of these mochi flavors. You definitely should consider stopping in at M&T.

This is the place!!! They have other appetizers and main dishes, but honestly, we can't break away from the above three menu items. Food is consistently delicious! As a Registered Nurse, I truly appreciate the cleanliness of the restaurant. Today I placed a to go order, paid, and went to use the restroom to wash my hands. The restroom was clean as well. When I returned to the dining room. A party of 5 gentlemen had left. The nice gentleman who had taken my order was clearing and cleaning the table. He then took a broom and gently swept the floor where the men had left. The staff is always very pleasant and appreciative every single time. The food is delicious. The servings more than adequate. We usually have leftovers for later. Tonight, we will eat the 2 fresh orders of spring rolls for dinner. And as the name of the restaurant implies, the food is prepared fresh and doesn't take long at all to be served. Express!

My initial visit was over nine years ago back in 2/4/17 when the restaurant was smaller. It's a great sign to see its longevity, posted local awards, and space expansion for additional seating. Interior seating choices available include booths or tables. Wait staff was pleasant and efficient handing us ice waters, menus, napkins, chopsticks, and flatware upon seating. Same pleasant interior with healthy plants and an aquarium. Menu items have expanded and also offers bubble tea. We shared a fresh roll with grilled pork and their tasty dipping sauce. Love the crunch and overall fresh composition. Mom had the seafood pho which arrived in a ginormous bowl and I opted for the steak and meatball pho in a smaller bowl. We shared the provided fresh bean sprouts, basil, and lime wedges, but passed on the sliced jalepenos. The broth was so on point, there was no need to adjust the seasoning. But if needed, there is a variety of additional condiments available at each table to customize one's bowls further. Entree servings and content are so generous, that we ended up packing up our leftover phos. I also bought an additional iced Vietnamese phin style coffee with condensed milk to go. That was nice, smooth, and hit the spot while waiting to board the ferry. Back again in under a week with my mom, but also in tow with The Homie (5/5/26, visit 2of2). This time our visit was much earlier in the day at 1030am, but during our visit the booths filled up with others dining onsite or getting orders to go. Very personable waitperson who also gave us ample time to consider menu options. We shared again the exact fresh roll with grilled pork - tasty, consistent, and generously filled. Mom had her ginormous bowl of seafood pho again and was happy to have all the fresh bean sprouts, basil, and lime wedge to herself. She had been fasting for an earlier doctor's appointment and labs, so she went to town and was focused on her pho. Again, chockful of shrimp, squid, imitation crab/surimi, and fish balls with onions, cilantro, plus that flavorful pho broth and noodles. The Homie was very happy to be able to order pork fried rice without the peas and carrots. Great presentation with the generous pork, scrambled egg throughout, and green onion. Despite earlier items consumed prior, he managed to eat half of the generous entree and had a considerable portion to take home. I tried their version of shaking beef with a scoop of steamed white rice, tender chunks of beef sauteed with sliced romaine, cilantro, green peppers, and onions in a garlic sauce. I did end up picking out the onions to add to the other entree of pork fried rice and separated the green peppers due to personal preference. I ate a few bites, and ended up taking the majority of it home. Again, just the sheer size of the generous serving provided. Worthy detour off of Hwy 303 in East Bremerton for consistent, flavorful menu items and on point customer service! Great dining experiences twice in under a week! 4 stars bumped up to five stars for these two recent visits.
