I really enjoyed how tender the short rib in the short rib pho was; it was fall-off-the-bone, tender, and well cooked. The short rib itself had good flavor, but the pho broth was a bit lacking in depth and leaned too salty for my taste. The pho noodles were decent -- not the best I've had, but not the worst either. We tried Green Garden Pho for the first time! Hubby and I got delivery and it all arrived very hot and fresh. I had the Pad See Ew with pork and shrimp, hubby got the orange chicken, we shared steamed potstickers. The potstickers were delicious! Super light and perfectly steamed. The pad see ew was ok, not as good as a few other local spots as it was packed with sooo much basil it was kind of overwhelming and the flavor of the pork and cook was underwhelming/lackluster. The shrimp I had added to it though was great and helped make up for the pork. Orange chicken was also just ok, a little like fast food orange chicken in flavor and texture (which can sometimes hit the spot) but it lacked flavor overall and the chicken was definitely on the chewier side. We will still give them another try for pho, but likely won't be getting these entrees. Serving sizes were huge which was also a plus! read more

We went for lunch based on a recommendation from someone who lives in the area, and she wasn't wrong. The atmosphere is classic pho/thai in a strip mall - but the smells were 100% authentic. I had the tofu pad thai, which was good but completely lacking any vegetables. The sauce was good, slightly bland, I was surprised they didn't ask for my spicy level - I'm guessing it's because they just have one level. My mom had the tofu pho - the broth smelled great and her tofu was well done but while it has vegetables in it, it was still lacking overall. The service was what you'd expect from one of these places. Good, but nothing to get so excited about. All in all, for the area, you could absolutely do worse. I'd eat there again, but I'd probably try somewhere else first. read more

Caveat that I took my food to go. Ordered 4 dishes and it was just over $70. The Pho dishes were good, broth was just ok. The noodles were not mush or a ball, broke up in the broth and the sides were fresh. The same goes with the vermicelli dish, fresh taste. The only issues with these is the bland flavor, so make sure you add your flavors. Hard to tell what type of broth they use (bone, chicken etc) The worse dish was the fried rice, the rice was soggy, clumped together and no flavor. Very disappointed with this dish as I was hoping for more for a standard item. For the restaurant, clean and plenty of seating. For an early evening, several ppl inside and more walking in. Green Garden Pho stays in my takeout restaurant rotation because of great quality I can rely on. I've probably ordered once a month for the past 2 years but Ive never been disappointed. I highly recommend their vegetarian pho: veggies and tofu (there's is fried). There vegetables are always cooked to perfection and they still have a nice bite to them. Our first time in Seattle and visiting Green Garden Pho. We went on a Saturday, 30 minutes to closing and they still welcomed us in! staff was friendly and service was excellent. The presentation and food portions were fresh and onolicious! We ordered the egg rolls, green curry, stir fried eggplant with shrimp all with jasmine rice. The eggplant was so good, we've never had it crispy like that before. Would highly recommend and go again. read more

My husband and I had a lovely dinner on Christmas Eve at Green Garden PHO in Silverdale. The food was delicious, the service was perfect, the employees are friendly and helpful, the restaurant is clean and well maintained, and the Holiday music was pleasant. Our favorite dishes are Pad See Ew with shrimp or tofu, and Kee Mao Noodles with tofu. We also like their Phad Thai with tofu. Yum! We look forward to dining there again soon. read more

This restaurant has the best rice dish with grilled chicken or pork chops since they serve the aroma jasmine rice which is a bit sticky, not too dry. Their Phở is delicious for the beef broth cooked with beef bones and the rice noodles are perfect, not too soft. In addition, chow mein is a good choice as well since it tastes good with all vegetables and meat. The staffs are friendly (sometimes too friendly with all personal questions) and the restaurant/restroom look clean. I deduct one star because the food is not very consistent. Phở broth in the morning tastes better than the one in the evening. There was a time my husband ordered chow mein and it was very salty, but it just happened once. Very disappointed in the spring rolls. There was just one cucumber slice in one half of the 4 pieces and the chicken was thin, dry and flavorless. The size of the spring rolls was 1/2 the size the other restaurants serve. If you are looking for delicious spring rolls, do not order them from here. The size options for Pho is small or large. I opted for the small steak Pho. I also ordered the beef Banh Mi sandwich which was probably the worst sandwich I've ever had in my life. I only say this because the meat ratio compared to the rest of the sandwich was criminal. I wish this was hyperbole, but the sandwich was 90% bread and vegetables. Came here on a rainy cold day and this place seriously hit the spot! Originally wanted to order their pho but couldn't help myself but order the vegetarian Vietnamese crepe. It's one of my all time favorite growing up as a first generation Vietnamese American. The crepe is authentic, with mild notes of coconut milk & a hint of turmeric which brings out the yellow color. The crepe comes stuffed with bean sprouts, tofu & mushrooms and is eaten with lettuce, mint & sometimes Thai Basil. I usually ask for a small bowl to break up the lettuce, the crepe & a few spoonfuls of their authentic fish sauce. The dish reminded me of home. If you order the vegetarian crepe & are okay with eating fish sauce, make sure you ask for the real fish sauce! Otherwise they'll get you the vegetarian sauce that is darker (shown in the first photo below) and just isn't as flavorful. Whenever I'm in the area, Green Garden Pho is always where I end up eating. The pho broth is so flavorful and never disappoints! My go-to is the small steak and brisket pho. I also love that they have so many more options other than pho. If I'm not in the mood for soup I order the vermicelli noodle bowl with grilled pork. The crispy garlic chicken is another go-to dish of mine. On top of the awesome menu and great-tasting food, the staff is also friendly and welcoming. Imagine my surprise when I came from California to visit my 80 year old dad and he informed me that he now loves Vietnamese food, which happens to be one of my favorites! He couldn't wait to bring me here to try their delish fare! He usually gets the Pho, but wanted to try something different, so I advised him to try the rice noodles with grilled beef and shrimp. I've had this dish many times before at various restaurants and this execution was by far the best! The bowl was ample, and the beef was tender, juicy (most places cook it too dry) and the quality of the beef was superb! The shrimp were also the best, and they didn't marinade it first in the odd sauce that others I've experienced do...which lended it the true flavor of clean, fresh, non fishy shrimp. There were plenty of pickled veggies, bean sprouts and lettuce in the mix as well. Their fish sauce was super good as well and wasn't too strong like I've had before, too. The only thing I wish it came with is a fried egg roll. That would have made it even better! Our server was great, food was amazing, and I'm glad my dad has a great restaurant to visit on his way back home from his Kaiser Hospital visits. I wish we had this place back at home in Sacramento, Ca, it was so good! Kudos to Green Garden for a fantastic meal with my dad, one I'll remember forever. read more

A few years ago I would have given this restaurant a solid 5 stars. The food was amazing and the staff was always so friendly. Well, the staff is still great but the food - which has gotten a lot more expensive - is not as good as it used to be. We ordered take out. We got a Vietnamese sandwich which had half the meat which made it seem like too much bread. We also ordered the steak & brisket pho. The broth was always so good but now it tastes watered down. I was hesitant to try any Vietnamese restaurants around Kitsap area due to lack of flavor and because most tend to cater to Americanized taste. This cute spot did not disappoint. Very clean and simple decor. I had the Grilled Beef Rice Plate. It didnt come out hot but luke warm. The beef was very well seasoned and tender. I felt it was missing something and not enough food on my plate. I wished it had came with fried egg. That would perfectly compliment the plate. My mom had the Bun Bo Hue. It came out hot. First, these guys seated us within 20-30 mins of closing on a slow night. Thanks a lot. Second, the food was decent all around. I had the bird's nest with vegetables and shrimps. Generous on the veggies, good variety, well cooked / still crisp, and everything was fresh. Shrimps were big and juicy. Sauce amount was lacking, but next time I'll ask for extra - it tasted delicious though! We ordered a dish that we've never ordered or seen anywhere (that we remember) it's an omelette filled with vegetables, bean sprouts, herbs and meat, and a light batter too, and you wrap it in lettuce and dunk it in sauce. From the awesome customer service to the portion and reasonable price of their dishes. I got the Vermacelli Bowl with no noodles and extra veggies for a no carb meal. Truth be told, this was actually our third option for dinner - two other restaurants within the strip mall had long waits, so we were thankful to walk right into Green Garden and be seated. We weren't disappointed! My friend and I each ordered a Thai tea to start. She got hers quickly, so after a few minutes of waiting, I inquired of our server to ensure he had heard us order two. It seems he missed that, so he came back with the tea shortly in a to-go cup, as he said they were out of glasses. No biggie, but the table next to us remained uncleared throughout our meal. I assume they were short staffed. Still, the two people we interacted with were very friendly. We each ordered appetizers: pot stickers and dumplings. The familiar sauce pulled these together for us and provided that burst of flavor and heat one would look for. Delicious. The pho was quite good too. The sriracha-like sauce they keep on the table was extra spicy! I loaded up my soup. I thought the cost of our meal for three was reasonable. This place puts their money into their restaurant and it shows. I've been here twice last year and their food was great. Coming back again today with my sister who is visiting from Vegas LOVED their food and the customer service. They've upgraded on their dish ware it looks like and even made their Thai tea look cute to drink out of instead of regular cups. They outdid themselves and I am happy to say I found my pho spot! This review is primarily for the bo luc lac I ordered. I know it traditionally comes with bell peppers and onions but I hate bell peppers so I asked to substitute with mushrooms. I thought the bo luc lac was a bit too sweet and the steak was super tough. Added an egg and it was definitely fried hard but it was fine. My friend and I shared an order of eggrolls which were good. They were pretty standard compared to any other pho restaurant. Her order was a bit complicated...she got a veggie pho but with no tofu and add shrimp. She didn't want the seafood pho cause she wanted veggie broth and veggies but none of the other seafood. She said her pho was hitting the spot as usual, so I'm thinking I made the mistake by ordering one of their specials. I give this place another shot when I come out this direction but I'll definitely order pho next time. read more

One of the better Vietnamese restaurants in the area. We got the steak pho and seafood pho. They were so good! The broths were flavorful and super hot on a freezing cold day. Just know that the seafood pho only comes in large size. The cold rice noodles dishes and fresh rolls are fresh and tasty. They're so light and makes you feel like you're eating healthy. It's a great place for a quick lunch or dinner. The pho comes out super quick. Service is great and the people are really nice. read more
