A huge thank you to Anthony and his amazing team of plumbers, electricians, carpenters, painters, and more for the incredible work you've done on our house to help restore my mom's room after severe water and mold damage. We first called Anthony because we noticed a strange water smell in one of the rooms. Anthony was quick to respond, and after a detailed investigation by his very skilled plumber, he determined that one of the bathrooms on the second floor was not properly connected, causing a leak behind a closet in the room directly below. After fixing the plumbing issue, Anthony's team removed the drywall to enable the remediation company to handle the mold remediation. Unfortunately, much of our room was affected and became uncomfortable to stay in, so Anthony worked hard to prioritize our project, making the room usable as quickly as possible. After the remediation, Anthony's detail-oriented team installed new drywall, textured, and painted the walls, making the room look brand new. They also built beautiful, custom-made closet shelves that met our requirements perfectly. Anthony's team was wonderful to work with--they were honest, communicative, and displayed the highest level of craftsmanship. We started working with Anthony 10 years ago when we remodeled our office. Then he upgraded our 1950's electrical service to a modern 400 amp service. When we moved, he again upgraded our service with two mains, one for the house and one for the ADU and interfaced with the solar company that installed our panels and batteries. He also poured the concrete apron behind the garage and did a great job of that. I like his can-do attitude and knowledgeable suggestions. read more

I doubt that it'll be a bad thing for the customers. We had a smooth start with Anthony Lewis. He was punctual and organized for the initial walk through of our remodel. Since we are expecting parents we had made it clear to him from the beginning that we needed to have the remodeling completed ideally in August and latest September. In the middle of the remodel, in July he gave us the reassurance that things should be completed by the last week of August, which was music to our ears. When the date got closer, we got an update that things would be done by the first week of September. Of course, we are realistic and understand that there are sometimes delays. This is where things started to get problematic. The work really wasn't completed until Oct 10 (and I am at my 38 week of pregnancy), and it really would've continued if we didn't continuously make pleas to Anthony's office get the work done. Highlights of the negative issues 1. Lack of communication / Disorganized: There were days that workers would show up unannounced, and a time that even Anthony was surprised that they were on our property 2. It was on us to double check the quality of work being done: We were surprised that there was never a final walk through with the homeowners to ensure things were done properly with quality in mind. For the items that were completed, we constantly found issues that needed to be redone. One example is with the scratch of the marble in one of our bathrooms. It was a very large scratch on multiple tiles that I am sure any professional would have noticed. 3. Never ending project and excuses: It was on us to constantly remind them of our timeline. It seemed that they had other projects going on that seemed to be more important than completing ours in a timely manner and made excesses to why certain workers couldn't be at our property. For any expecting mom, I am sure you can empathize how stressful this situation is. I am currently 38 weeks pregnant and the baby really could come any day now. It's been difficult for us to "nest" since even the closet in the baby's room only got completed last week. On top of that, the interior trims of the closet forgot to be painted. read more

Over a year ago the electrical panel in my house was blown by a surge on the line from the pole to my house. The team at Anthony Lewis, Inc is incredible. Not only is their work excellent, each and every individual who either came to the house or work in the office were beyond helpful and respectful. It took some time, primarily because PG&E had a big backlog from last year's rain and other problems. I've contracted with Anthony Lewis twice now to do various work on my home and each time has been a great experience. They give detailed costs up front and any deviation from the quoted figures are agreed upon in advance so there are no surprises. As with all projects, things can sometimes go off course a little bit and sometimes there will be inevitable delays. Vicki (the project manager) has always been fantastic to work with and she always kept me in the loop as to what the current status was and what the timelines were. If there were any issues, she was quick to respond and issues were often rectified in hours, if not minutes. Even when dealing with the local authorities for permit-related issues, Vicki was on top of things and ensured it was all handled appropriately. Anthony Lewis's outfit installed my Tesla charger. They did a fantastic job, were easy to communicate with, provided a clear description of the services and the relevant timeline. The initial permit inspection was denied for some silly reasons, and they came back and effectively redid a significant amount of the work to pass inspection. Ultimately, they probably lost money on this job (during the pandemic). That said, there wasn't a word of complaint or any feet dragging. They made an appointment to come fix it, did it, and then the work passed inspection. Their professionalism was exactly what I want from a service provider, and they behaved that way during a time when they probably could have gotten away with a bit of subpar service. read more

In addition to renovating the existing untouched 1957 home, he also added 500 square feet of living space and 800 feed of covered patio. It's been almost 2 months with our new EV charger and we could not be happier. My husband and I still talk about how smooth the process was and how satisfied we are with Anthony and his team. First off, we live in a townhome with a one car detached garage. It was a very complicated installation including trenching and dry wall repair among other issues. They were very professional and fast, they estimated approx. 3-4 weeks for the project, but they were able to get the job done in under 3 weeks. To avoid inspection delays, they pre-scheduled the inspections and setup the work schedule around it; the result, morning to evening continuous work with no delays and stalls which resulted in completion in 2.5 weeks including some uncontrollable permit delays (thanks city of SJ).
