Hired Jaime to replace our doorbell transformer to support our video doorbell. He was responsive professional and reasonably priced. He was quick and efficient and our new video doorbell works perfectly! Will keep in mind for any future electric work. read more

Jaime helped me install a Tesla Charger with upgraded GFIC protected 60 amp breaker. He was able to run conduit neatly from my main panel to the garage location outside for my charger. He also upgraded a previous NEMA plug that another electrician had installed that was not rated for EV charging. Be sure to watch videos on YouTube of what style NEMA 14-50 plug is required for the constant load of EV charging - while it looks the same as a stove/ dryer plug it is constructed with much more durable materials costs 4x what Home Depot sells for dryers and stoves. Very happy with Jaime and his work. read more

Jamie, the electrician at, JLG Electric did a wonderful job, replacing my 62 year old "Zinsco Sub Panel," Thanks Jamie.

I hired JLG Electric to replace my electric panel. Jaime is a very respossible and professional electrician. He replies my texts promptly and answers my all calls every time, even late at night. He did an excellent job with the new panel that he installed. I am very happy with his work. In addition, his price was very reasonable as well. He is the best! I highly recommend JLG Electric. Will ask Jaime for help next time when I have more electric work in the future. read more

Great job by Jaime and Jonathon, much less disruptive than I had anticipated and than other contractors were proposing. Likely, they will do additional work for me on my outside sub panel in future. read more

JLG Electric - Lamp Post and Fountain Install - Electricians Near Me

They come on time, do a perfect job and with a competitive price. I will hire them again in the future.

Absolutely fantastic experience with Jaime and crew of JLG Electric! They replaced my 1950s vintage electrical panel and installed a Tesla wall connector, with the extra challenge that the panel is located about 100' from the garage. Super responsive over text, email and in person, Jaime showed up on time and as promised every time, from estimating the job to being there for all the county permit inspections for the county and PG&E. Speaking of permits, he shepherded me through that entire convoluted process, giving me clear information of the forms needed and how to meet requirements such as the mandatory smoke/carbon monoxide detectors. He was very considerate and flexible about scheduling when the power would need to be off to least impact my busy SIP/WFH Zoom work meetings. He and his team wore masks the entire team, even when working outside in the open. I especially appreciated his attention to detail, they cleaned up after themselves after every visit. Jaime also sourced a stucco repairman to finish the job as the new panel is a different dimension than the old one. I recommend JLG Electric wholeheartedly and will be inviting them back to do more work in the future. read more

Not enough room to say how nice it was to work with them. Jaime is wonderful and so responsive. We were having flickering lights and I had several electricians out to take a look. No one took the time and effort to troubleshoot that Jaime did. He oiled and checked the connections in our entire box instead of just guessing and telling me we needed a new box, which every other electrician had. We needed to switch out the light switches themselves to be compatible with LED lights. He didn't even charge us for that. Earned my trust immediately with the care he took. Next, we have called him for two other jobs- one inside and one outside and he and his partner stayed late into the evening to get the task done. It is so rare to see that kind of work ethic I feel and I have just been very impressed with this company and how they explain issues and go about solving them. Call them now! read more

Just worked with Jamie on three installs of some pretty complex chandeliers. They showed up and was very careful with the room(s) by laying down tarps and cleared the work space. They took their time and was patient with each fixture even when I asked to move them around and work with the placement. Even when we ran into an issue they worked out a solution. I'm an interior designer and I have worked with my share of tradesmen, Jamie was definitely one of them most professional I have encountered. I'd highly recommend him. read more

I would use JLG Electric again and definitely recommend them to others looking for a licensed electrician. Jaime was super responsive, on-time, careful in his work, cleaned up, fair priced, and got my job done very well- just what I needed. Job was replacing a dying ballast in a fluorescent light fixture in my kitchen and putting in LED tubes. read more

JLG did a great job removing an old inverter from my home solar system. He correctly installed a new inverter to replace the old broken inverter. They know their wiring. read more

We are very happy working with Jaime, who helped us with installing the home guard system perfectly. Jaime provided us with a great price and flexible availability when we requested the service on Yelp. We really appreciate that he came to help us during weekends and holidays. Jaime is very punctual and professional. He installed all cameras and wires perfectly and promptly. He said it was the first time he saw the brand of our devices so he searched online in advance to ensure the quality of the installation, and now the system works perfectly. Thanks Jaime for your great work! read more

These guys are the best. They fixed my generator, my flood lights, my pillar lights and replaced a garbage disposal and now everything works perfectly just as it should. Efficient but patient at the same time, and they will not leave unless the jobs are completed correctly. I will always call JLG for ANY electrical work from now on! read more

While I did not contract with JLG, I appreciate their responsiveness and being up-front with pricing. Here's their quote: "Hi CL , your quote for installing your pending light and your 7 smart switches $ 2250.00 . Thanks . Jaime" I ultimately went with another contractor who will charge $300 for chandelier installation and $50 per light switch installation == $750. read more

Jaime helped installing a sub-panel, outlets, and times in my backyard. He is friendly, professionally, project himself. We get the permit successfully. I recommend Jaime to all my clients who are looking for a licensed electrician. read more

Made an appointment with Jaime to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage and to upgrade my doorbell transformer to a higher voltage. He was very knowledgeable, professional, friendly, courteous, and quick. His prices were also very reasonable. I highly recommend him. read more

I called Jaime to fix my microwave wiring paroblem. Breaker was tripping. He quoted $350 over the phone to trouble shoot and fix the problem. He came home and raised it to 450. After an hour of trouble shooting, he did not find out the real problem. He said he would fix it but it is not the right way and he does not know how to fix it properly. I agreed and he brought wire outside and ran it on the wall and fixed the problem. It looked ugly but it was working. He left taking the money. A week later it stopped working. Jaime said that he is busy and cant come. So I spent $450 for nothing and my electrical wiring got screwed up. That is Jaime. I am going to take him to the small claims court. read more

Very happy with the work they've done in my house (recessed lights in bedrooms and hallway, outlets replacement). Good quality, friendly people, reasonable price and very prompt response to all questions i had. Jaime replied my request very soon and gave me cost-efficiency way to deal with my kitchen lamp. Originally, I only consider to change starter or central controller and Jaime suggested me to replace one new lamp instead because the old parts are difficult to find. He is right. And his price is also reasonable and even lower than other companies who only changed one part. After finishing the work, he help clean the floor as well. Very very great work and great price. I will highly recommend Jaime's work and will make him as my first choice if I have other electrical work necessary to do! He also provides construction and remodeling service. Very good quality company!! read more

We normally don't write reviews, but this time we were very satisfied with the service. JLG Electric is a family own business. Their handle is very professional, from replying to our request, to providing a quote, to doing the actual work. We had them install an EV charger and two floodlights in the backyard. Really, impeccable work!! read more

Jaime was fast and very professional. We will be using him for any electrical needs from now on. Great experience.

Jamie was very responsive, gave me valuable suggestion and provided a reasonable quote for installing a NEMA 14-50 outlet in my garage. He's very patient and helpful. Unfortunately I have to go with another electrician since Jamie isn't likely to provide help with building permit or inspection, a critical part that I don't think I can handle it professionally without additional help from electrician. I'll definitely work with him in the future on other projects. read more

Great service. Made things SUPER easy. I reached out to a number of folks and JLG Electrical Services was the most rapid to respond. They consistently came back with quick and helpful answers. I found a competitor who would do the work for cheaper but was less easy to work with (wouldn't accept online payment) so I asked if they would honor the price and they did! I went with JLG and was SUPER happy!!!! read more

Jaime, who owns JLG Electric was awesome! He came to my house to give me a quote to install two ring (wired) cameras and an EV charger before we agreed to do any work. Jaime was very knowledgeable and gave his honest opinion about the work we had needed to get done. It turns out the ring cameras we had purchased were not ideal for our house set up and the location of the electric panel. Jaime let us know that it was going to be more expensive to install them and we would have to either cut into the walls of our house in order to install them and run a lot of wire to the electric box or drill into the wall of the house to use existing interior outlets. We did not want to do either, so we appreciated his honest opinion and we did not proceed with the ring camera install. Instead we are going to install a ring doorbell camera. Jaime's quote for the EV charger was very reasonable so we set up an appt to have Jaime come install it. Jaime was punctual and he kept the area clean where he needed to cut into the wall to drop wire into the garage for the 240 volt outlet. He and his partner did an amazing job and we are very happy with the result! Thank you Jaime! We will hire you again for additional electrical needs :) read more

Jaime helped upgrading a panel (100A to 200A) and connecting a sauna in my home. Everything was spot on: Friendly and informative on the phone, friendly and professional in person, on time for any on site visit, helped coordinating with PG&E and the city, spot on with the estimate, and the project itself well done! The customer service and the quality of work warrants 5 stars without a doubt! read more

Used JLG Electrician J. Lopez for both new construction and remodeling electrical work for my house and mobile home. His work was top notch and very reasonable prices. Was prompt, professional and got the job done right. I have recommended to my friends and will use again! read more

I truly can not say enough as how happy I have been with JLG's services. Jaime is very professional, trustworthy and highly experienced and by far has the most reasonable prices for any project that he has performed in the past for me. He has always been prompt and if for any reason he is running late, he always calls to let me know. This is one of the biggest pet peeve that I have with most contractors. Jaime is probably one of the best all around electrician in the Bay Area that you can find. He and his crew can perform any large or small projects. I have used Jaime's services for many small and large remodeling projects in my house and as a matter of fact on 9/7/15 my son hooked up his motor home to one of the outlets inside the garage and soon after we lost power to security camera, security lights, all outlets, switches and light fixtures inside the garage. We thought may be the breaker had blown due to A/C running inside the motor home as a result of heavy load on the circuit. I called Jaime and he came following day and within a very short time he diagnosed the problem which was a faulty wiring from inside the attic to the panel and he replaced it quickly with very little material for a very fair and reasonable price. I also have him scheduled to come back for additional work. As far as I'm concerned he is the only electrician that I'll ever trust and use and believe me I've had few bad ones before I found Jaime. I would very highly recommend Jaime and for stated reasons he most definitely earn a 5 star rating from me. read more
