We had a simple balcony light needing installing, plus a junction box issue in the kitchen. We called several electricians, and also tried a few of our previously used ones to no avail. I'm not sure if that's an industry thing that there seems to be such a backlog, but Jason was nice enough to take our call, and squeeze us in the following day. On the day of our appointment, Jason messaged us with an approximate time of 2pm. As our appointment time approached, his previous job was running long so he texted us to inform about a 2 hour delay. We were glad he kept us up-to-date and set the proper expectations. Once Jason arrived, he was very accommodating about taking off his shoes indoors. The balcony light installation was fairly quick, and as for the junction box, there were several options and Jason did all he could to fix our issue. This review is for honesty and putting customer above profits. I wanted to install as fast EV charger in the garage. As I posted pictures and solicited quotes for work , I got a range from $400 to $950 after contractors did tours of my home. Then Jason came along. Just like everyone he saw the 240V plug in my garage and immediately suggested that instead of installing a faster charger I should get a Gen 2 NEMA Adapters 14-50 Amps and that would only cost me $45 on the Tesla website. We have an EV charger at home and the outlet that it was connected to malfunctioned. The outlet itself was melted and the wires behind it were completely busted and melted as well. Super worrying to think about a fire starting at home, especially having multiple EV cars. It's just something you don't want to worry about while charging overnight or away from home. We called Wolfe Electric Co and Jason's wife I believe answered and got me a same day appointment. Jason was able to make it in last minute to Morgan Hill at 6:30PM which was awesome. We converted from gas to electric range in my 75-year-old house and needed a 240 Volt 50 Amp outlet installed. Several contractors provided estimates. Of them, Wolfe seemed most knowledgeable and professional. Jason and Tim arrived on time to provide an estimate and told me exactly how they proposed to do the job. I want to thank Justin for the through job he did. I had a loose connection due to a crimp connector gone bad (a common problem with crimp connectors he told me). Not only he diagnosed the problem correctly immediately (I thought I had a bad switch), finding the bad crimp connector was a nightmare. He ended up going through about 12 junctions (switches, plugs, etc) until he finally found it. He never gave up until he made the job right and I really appreciate that. While he was searching for it, he even took the time to replace the other crimp connectors he saw that might fail down the road, saving me from another potential case just like this.
