Jesse came to our house on the same day we called him for help. Home Depot delivered our new washer/dryer, but the dryer wasn't functioning at all. They told us to call for an electrician, saying the dryer plug isn't getting electricity. After quickly running a few tests using his equipment, Jesse told us the problem was not actually electrical. The dryer was getting 240, same as the washer, which is exactly what it needed. The plug and circuit were all fine. Thankfully, he kept digging and figured out that the real problem was the LED screen. From the picture, you can see the bottom screen (for the washer) is working. However, the top screen (for the dryer) is completely dark. Jesse was just honest with us. In the end, he didn't even charge anything for coming to our place, since the problem was not actually electrical. He figured out the real problem, which was the broken LED screen on the dryer. We called Home Depot, who said LG would replace the dryer portion for us. Most people would have charged us, so we were very thankful. I've been looking for a "go to" electrician for a while. We got a new electric vehicle and needed a more powerful EV charger installed on a larger breaker. Our main house panel was in good shape, but had a lot of wiring and not a ton of room after a recent remodel. I called four electricians for an estimate. Three of the four did a remote estimate. The first came and then immediately said the job would cost more based on information they had during the estimate; this was very frustrating. The second came out and, upon getting started, said that he could not do the job. Frustrating. The third wanted to charge me a huge amount of money by making the project a lot bigger than it had to be. This is where Jesse and Zoetic came in to the picture. Jesse was very responsive and said he would stop by that night to take a look at the panel in person. This made a huge difference because he was able to come up with a couple options that worked for us. During the installation, we noticed that some of the wiring needed to be addressed and a circuit was double tapped. Jesse came up with a second plan to move some circuits from the main panel to an existing subpanel and to really clean up the main panel. Jesse took his time and minimized any damage to the stucco. He also took the time to make sure that the conduit was cleanly attached to the wall without leaving behind a crisscross of conduit on our wall. He even took a sample of our paint, went to get it matched, and painted all the conduit so it blended into the wall. And he came by a few days later to label and map all the new circuit locations so that we knew which breakers controlled which circuits. It's really hard to find anyone in any trade who will come in person, be honest, and take the time to make sure that the job is done well. Was he the cheapest option? Jesse came out to our house on very short notice following a nearly whole house power outage due to our very old pushomatic electric panel (had nothing to do with PGE). Since we had already started the permit process to install a new electric panel with PGE weeks earlier we didn't want to spend a bunch of time/money trying to fix the current panel but we also needed to have power until the new panel would be installed. Jesse and his team saved the day! We were moving out of our home and needed to have our Tesla EV wall charger removed.
