This place like the past reviewers is DIRTY! I was the first person in on a Wednesday (10am) and the floors were filthy. When I mentioned to the owner (who did my nails) that the reviews stated that her shop was dirty - she acted flabergasted and shocked. Then on once of her trips up to get something, she started kicking the shards of caste off fake nails underneath closets and chairs. There were 4 people sitting there with NO customers, instead of kicking all of the day before's nastiness, why don't you tell one of your people to pick up a broom and CLEAN IT UP!!! The problem with Ans Nails is that they accept walkins in addition to those with scheduled appts. The end result is that they are NEVER on time with your scheduled appts. Typically you wait 30 min to an hour. If Susan is there, they will call you and tell you to come in later. But.... Who wants that? You want to come in when you scheduled your appt. Just fix the problem!!!!!! Also, the polish is old and never stays in. It peels and chips easily. Having said that, the technicians are good and really try to give you a good experience. If you come here, bring your own polish and be prepared to be delayed up to 1 hour. read more

I went here. It took almost 50 minutes just for me to get assisted. My nail technician couldn't do what I asked for so I gave her much more simple work. She was charging me almost more than $80 just for a few rhinestones and when I asked for her not to include them, she charged me $55 which I was okay with. She seemed mad and did my nails very roughly. She put one of the tips on crooked and didnt even bother to fix it even tho she noticed it!! She also blamed me for not being able to stay still when she was the one that messed up the nail art!! I wouldn't recommend coming here. read more

My nails chipped the next day and went back to fix them and chipped again the following day -.- In total I went back 2 times to fix my nails and guess what, it ripped again the next day. I will never come back here again and wasting my time. This place is unsanitary. You will see nail particles everywhere and they just throw the nails particles on the floor.. Well it was my first time coming to this place. I seen alot of things that in my opinion lack of professionalism. I feel my time of 1 hour and 30 minutes and money were a waste. Before getting served I waited 45 minutes, during the wait time I was switched 4 times from the chairs I was placed at. Every time I was switched, I thought one of them was going to start doing my nails. When finally, one of them attended to me, I showed them the picture of how I wanted my nails navy blue short and natural cut. She started filing my nails without cleaning the table first after finishing with the customer before me. Especially that we are still going thru covid. During the process of shaping the nail, it was hurting. I stated that I have fragile nails and I ask her for recommendations on how to grow strong nails. she suggested a product powder that they use to shape the nail stronger than acrylic. My nails overall are a deception, some nails are shorter than others, not the color I wanted, you can see the bumps and the thickness of the nails, the strikes of the nails polish. not even to paint a nail correctly. everything was rushed. i trusted the process and this is what they did. I am so sad to see the negative reviews. I have been going to An's Nails for almost a year. I always get no chip manicures and eyebrow waxes, sometimes pedicures. The pedicures are &19 Monday through Wednesday. Normally they're $22. I never had a problem and hardly ever had to wait, only when I went on a Saturday. The prices are reasonable. I've never thought the place was dirty, as was mentioned a few times. The people are friendly and nice. I gave four stars because once or twice I did get my skin pulled too much and started bleeding. She put crazy glue on, weird but it stopped the bleeding. And sometimes while I'm getting a manicure, certain but not all staff members would ask me if I wanted an eyebrow wax, which I was going to do anyway. One time I didn't want to because I didn't feel like spending the money at the time (only $8), and the lady said it's been a while and I had a lot of hair already. I laughed because I need to get my eyebrows waxed every week and it had been over a week. But my eyebrows weren't that bad. I know she was just trying to add a sale. I only stopped going there because I moved to Austin, TX. I had a great experience going there. read more

The tech was extremely talkative with a very heavy accent that made 95% of his cheesy and "friendly" words unintelligible. His movements while applying a full gel set were obviously more for theatrics than actual quality. At some points the the fakery became so ridiculous I had to fight the urge to walk out in the middle of this dark comedy! Me being african american... you KNOW how that would have been interpreted. Lumps, bumps and poorly applied tips weren't even the last straw! When I was ready to pay the posted price, the cost for my set was $10 more. If I could give negative stars, they'd earn at least 3. I wish I had come to Yelp first! Oh, and just for the record, that 5 star review below is, no doubt, submitted by someone who works there or owns the place. (Hmmm. Unprofessional . unsanitary the Guy who did my nails messed them up! Did not shape them the right way . He was in a hurry. I asked to switch the color on my toes and they did extra something i did not ask for . I was charged almost 100$ here . I do not recommend also they false advertise on their page there was some nail pictures that was supposedly done by them . I really wanted to like this place due to how close I live to this nail salon but am so disappointed. This is my second time here now & I still remain unsatisfied; I recommend spending your hard-earned $ elsewhere. The older woman who did my mani + pedi was very rude. She shoved the pedicure tools so deep that I had to move my feet back about 3x bc it hurt. I got no-chip and she slammed the UV lamp down so hard she ruined the polish and had to start again. As for the mani, also disappointing:/ She didn't have too much control of the nail drill which resulted in the nail drill going under my nail somehow and also on my skin. Finally, I asked her to fix a minor mistake and she handed me the file to fix on my own! A nightmare! I was so happy to get out. At first I sat in this young guys chair and I was getting a fill.. anyways he starts drilling my nails down super quick and the drill was like on high speed i notice him drilling my nail bed down way to much to the point he made me bleed from my nail bed I told him to stop and he starts laying the acrylic SUPER SLOPPY and BUMPY so I get up from his chair and wait for NAncy.. she gets started on me taking off the acrylic he laid and she get to weere he made me bleed and she couldn't take the acrylic off on tht spot because it would of probably tooken my really nail completely off.. anyways speaking in there language she tells him come here while she's trying to figure or what to do and this guy literally starts cracking up .. tht he hurt me I should of said something but they probably don't understand shit. I like how they do my eyebrows but not my nails. And they are extremely rude! I went in with my little girl she's really chubby and they kept talking to each other in Chinese and looked at my little girl and laughed. When I addressed them about it they just stayed quite and didn't do anything anymore. I will not be going there anymore because of how I was not respected! Although my sisters nails were done properly for a one star rated place she was treated extremely inappropriate. The man who did her nails kept on grabbing her hands and rubbing her hands in ways that made her uncomfortable. I understand that in order to do nails you have to grab the customers hand but there's no need to hold her hands and say that you're "drying them" and there's no need to touch her fingers and tell her to relax specially when she looks that young.
