I got my nails done by Anni and I had the best experience. we did a breast cancer awards set in memory of my mom and it brought me to tears. Anni was so compassionate and comforting as she finished her work. the loctician did an amazing job as well! This was the very first fill-in for the set. Less than 24 hours later, on the morning of June 8, one nail broke. On June 9, a second nail broke. I called the salon on June 10 to explain the situation. Rather than expressing concern about the quality of the service, the male manager immediately informed me that it would cost an additional $15 to repair the two nails because the salon does not guarantee fill-ins, only full sets. After a lengthy discussion, he eventually stated that the repairs could be done at no charge, but only if completed by the same technician who serviced me. Unfortunately, I had an event to attend that afternoon and could not risk an extended wait. The following day, I called again and spoke with a female manager. She also began by reiterating that fill-ins are not guaranteed and that repairs must be completed by the original technician. She then informed me that the salon was slow and, if I came immediately, they would make an exception and repair the nails. I rushed to the salon, which is less than a 10-minute drive away, only to arrive and be told there were already two people ahead of me and that the wait would be more than 30 minutes. This was especially frustrating given that I had specifically called ahead and adjusted my schedule based on the information I was provided. While I understand that salons have policies, I find it unreasonable that two nails would break within days of a routine fill-in and that the response was to argue policy rather than address a clear quality concern. What was most disappointing was not the broken nails themselves, but the lack of accountability, inconsistent communication, and poor customer service from management. As a first-time customer receiving a fill-in on a relatively new set, I expected better workmanship and a more customer-focused resolution. Unfortunately, this experience has left me with little confidence in returning.

As soon as I walked in, the lady at the front had an attitude. I asked if there was a wait and she responded, "No wait, do you want to get your nails done or not?" I asked for builder gel, and after trimming down my nails, the first nail tech suddenly moved me to another worker and said, "I don't do fill-ins." The guy then started applying acrylic even though I specifically asked for builder gel. When I questioned it, they kept insisting it was builder gel until he finally admitted it was acrylic. Only then did they tell me they don't offer what I wanted because the person who does builder gel is on vacation. Lady said "go back to the other salon you went to originally" The whole situation could've been communicated from the start before cutting down my nails. I stayed respectful the entire time and left with unevenly trimmed nails and very disappointed.

I got nipped during services because the male techs don't handle women's nails gently and with care. I looked to my left and saw how harsh and aggressive the other nail tech was filing the other ladies nails and I couldn't help but to scrunch my face in pain for her. Took me in as a walk-in manicure right away. Very aesthetically pretty salon with a great selection of drinks offered. The not-so-good: my cuticles were really mangled. I have gotten an e-file manicure many times before at my usual salon, never had an issue. The e-filing was totally fine, but after, the manicurist cut my cuticles so deep. I was in pain for 2 days after. I know they were bleeding because she was using some sort of blood clotting disinfectant. Also, the edges of my nails were left super rough and I had to refile them myself at home. For $70 for a regular polish e-file manicure, I would expect much better honestly. My fault I didn't say anything as well- I have terrible social anxiety and just prefer to avoid confrontation.
