I'm visiting home from out of town and I called the same day to see if they had an opening for an eyelash lift and tint and they did!! I was excited because I usually have very small and thin lashes and after using a growth serum I now had long, but thin lashes. I don't like to put mascara on every day so this was my solution. Fatima was so friendly when I walked in and took special care of my lashes - especially noting my not necessarily strong growth. She carefully lifted and tinted being careful with what I have and I am thrilled with the results. The person who made the appointment for me was great and sent me a picture of the outside noting there had been some confusion with a place nearby. Well....I think I found my favorite lash salon. Rhyan who is my tech is amazing. She utterly kind and patient with me as I had tons of questions. I went to a salon before coming here and my lashes did not make it more than a week. Rhyan specializes in volume and natural looks. If you looking for Russian then there is a lady who can meet your needs. Each tech has their own booth with treats for you to munch on unless you are like me who takes cat naps. The shop offers threading, brow tint, waxing, and facials. The owner is super responsive when setting up appointments via yelp or text. You can also setup reminders where he will message you for a 2 or 3 week touch up appointments. My two-week touch was $75 but it was totally worth it b/c I love my lashes! Thanks Rhyan and I will see you in 2 weeks. Ps. This issue does not reflect on the service and professionalism of the staff but they have a plumbing problem. They have multiple signs posted in the bathroom for you not to flush the toliet tissue but you must throw it in the waste reciprocal. This is the best experience I've had since I've been in Chicago! Last minute yesterday I had some time off from work and called this place to see if they had any availability. They didn't, but they made time for me. When I walked in the door this beautiful family offered my husband and I a plate of food as they were celebrating their son's birthday! I felt like I was at my grandmother's house, the hospitality was EVERYTHING!!! I got my lashes done by Sara who was AMAZING and quick! She gave me careful instructions on how to take care of them but I went home and slept crazy and messed them up. Finally decided to update my review after 3 years and still going strong with Eyelashes R Us. Lashes are now done by Sarah! She is super quick and does exactly what you ask for. They will typically last my 3 weeks as that's when you last get to fill in. However, length does depend on the person and how well you care for them. Volume lashes start at $170 and up. Highly recommend to book your appointment via Booksy as it is quicker and easier for you to see who's available and time slots open. Brow threading is still great, as Fatima does them. Even tinting is available. This spot is not a spa, but more of a salon. If you wish to bring your headphones for quiet time highly recommended! read more

This is my second time coming back to Eyelashes R Us (the first time was for a complete set of eyelash extensions). Rhyan is an absolute artist at what she does! During my first visit, I went in not wanting anything "too crazy" and we ended up doing a very natural cat eye look. This second time around (from today - see pictures), I think we went a little bit bolder - and I'm pretty sure I love this look even more than the first!! Rhyan makes the experience relaxing and is very meticulous with her work. She gives good directions on eyelash extension care. The salon even provides eyelash extension brushes and shampoo so that you can care for your eyelash investment at home! Main two points: don't get your eyelashes wet for 48 hours, and clean them every 2-3 days! I have received several compliments on my eyelash extensions and love not having to put on eyeliner and mascara every day! The extensions do shed, but only at the same amount that your natural eyelashes shed, if you take care of them properly. By far one of my best life decisions!! Lastly, I love how clean and COVID-conscious this salon is! They take extra precautions to ensure the health of their customers and staff. I have gotten my lashes a handful of times around the city and I have to say I absolutely HATE my lashes that were done here. I asked for a natural looking set and my lashes are so long curled and clumpy it's clearly lashes extensions! They are so long they reach my eyebrows!!!!! It has been only a few hours and they clump together exposing bald spots so I feel like I have to brush them. Who has the time and energy to be constantly brushing ones lashes?!? I decided to go to Eyelashes R Us after reading the positive reviews. Not me! So I researched a couple of spots and choose this boutique spot. I really like it because it has a mom/pop feel. The husband (I think co-owner) is very very pleasant. My first time there he was super friendly and made me feel welcomed. I booked an appointment with Mila and she did an amazing job they stayed nicely and looked beautiful. The second time, when it was time for a re-lash, she did not disappoint. My last appointment, yesterday, when I showed up I thought I would get serviced by her again but it was someone I wasn't familiar with. Her name was Sarah. My lashes look beautiful, I'm interested to see how her work holds up though. I'm just a bit uncertain when having someone new work on me what the results will be. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5, is because during my last appointment I would have appreciated if the receptionist called and informed me that Mila no longer worked there and someone else was doing my lashes. It was awkward when I realized that the person I booked for wasn't the one that would be working on me. Sarah's work was great but a heads up would have been nice. Additionally the receptionist seems to be a younger kid that doesn't seem to have the charm and charisma that the co-owner has. These are not huge issues but just being completely honest.
