This was my first time coming here. I've never tried sugaring before and I heard its similar to waxing. I got a Brazilian and Lauren was my waxer (sugar..er?) Lauren is super sweet and she was able to make my experience pain free, which impressed me, because I always dread getting waxed, especially with someone I'm not familiar with. Overall, I enjoyed my experience and I will definitely schedule another appointment with Lauren. read more

Love this place! I've been to this location once before and it's always clean, calm and friendly. Refreshments in the front and sampling their scrub in the bathroom is so great. I came in for my usual Brazilian and inflation cooks me every time however it's always worth it. Kris took care of me so well and it was honestly painless while talking to her. read more

First time here and unsure if I'll be back. The process was so long and painful. I paid for the numbing add on and that didn't help at all. It didn't even seem like they applied the product well. Don't get numbing because it does not help and it's extra pay. I think I'll go back to hard wax because it's less pulls. Here they did so many pulls and went over the areas repeatedly, I was so sore after read more

This was a great service and Stacy did a fantastic job. They were very attentive and friendly.

Stacy was awesome! So friendly and informative. She talked me through the whole process and gave great at home tips too. Very clean facility and scheduling online is super easy. read more

Had an appt with Kris- she is great! Explains entire process as she goes through it and very nice! Front desk staff are also very kind with great customer service! read more

Kris was amazing!!! She made me feel so comfortable and was so kind, I recommend sugaring to everyone!

I had a first time appointment today and was really excited to find a new favorite spot- but this was not it. I don't even know who sugared me because she never introduced herself and didn't ask me any questions the entire time. Which I thought wasn't the absolute worst but I do like when some basic convo is made for a distraction. Wax was also spilt on my jacket so hopefully that comes out, and I was disappointed to see there was still a bunch of hair left on the top and sides that she didn't bother to try and remove or pluck. I've never had that happen before! Ultimately, it was nice to have the 50% off as a first time customer but I definitely would not pay pull price for this type of service. read more

I love this SugaringNYC! I've been going here for about 3 years now and am always pleased with my results. Twonna is great for those wanting a speedy appointment & Claudia is great for some fun convo! read more

I was a first time client and had an appointment this evening at the Lincoln Park location. See the attached picture of the aftermath of the attempt at waxing my first underarm. After seeing this botched attempt, I left immediately without finishing my appointment. Besides the physical pain, I now have significant bruising right before going on vacation this week. Please train ALL employees better and ensure they can do their job without leaving physical bruises on clients. I would advise everyone to stay away this place. read more

Sugaring NYC - Lincoln Park - Great place!!! Ask for Kris, she's amazing - Waxing Near Me - Chicago, Illinois

Labor would've felt better than that wax this morning. The wax was not warm enough My waxer was awkward and didn't introduce herself or even speak one word during our appointment. I've gotten consistent brazilians for years and sugaring has never been painful for me until today's appointment. My lips are raw and painful still since this mornings appointment. I recommend sugaring but not with this particular waxer. Run for the hills if you get her. read more

My gf recommended Cecilia when I couldn't get in for a Brazilian wax before vacation. Not only am I glad she did but I'm glad I switched. Sugaring does hurt a tad bit more than traditional waxing, but Cecilia is great, quick and thorough! The aftermath though is much better on my super sensitive skin. I'll definitely be back! read more

This is the only location I go too. Deyza is my favorite and the only one I truly like to go too! She's super patient and gentle with beginners and truly gives great advice on aftercare. I haven't went back to shaving and even got a membership because I'm so pleased with the service! I also never have to wait there. read more

I've been coming here for a couple years now and I'm so impressed by the service. Very professional and they always meet my needs with sugaring. I also appreciate that the technicians are body positive. At this location they've also been wonderful at taking care of my sensitive skin. Carly is my favorite! She's precise, fast, and minimizes any discomfort. read more

Tonijah is the best she makes sure not to miss any hair shes gentle for someone like me with extremely sensitive skin and she has great memory i only come about 1 time every 4-6 months and she always remembers the conversation we had before... very nice to get to know her and she does a very great job!! 10/10 recommend read more

I usually go to the Michigan Ave. location but my usual esthetician was booked and I needed to get my wax ASAP. Of course going to a new esthetician I wasn't expecting a familiar or flawless experience and I did feel like the service took longer than usual but overall I had a decent experience and the job got done none the less. I was inclined to write a review because this place is better known for getting a wax rather than eyelash extensions/lifts. I always prefer sugar waxing over regular wax because it's usually quicker and I love the results! Next time, I will definitely try their Vajacials! read more

I'm used to getting waxed, but my friend recommended me to try this place. I booked with Rachel because of all the great reviews she had. I ended up getting there 15 minutes before my appointment started and she took me back anyways. Rachel explained everything in great detail and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. We were laughing and talking from beginning to end. She was also very thorough, which I appreciated. It was definitely less painful than a wax. I'll be making this my regular spot. read more

Best sugar ever! Lauren is the best!!! Zero wait time and such quality service!!! I will only be coming here from now on

Ineffective results, extremely painful, and dismissive staff. I have waxed for years and I can say with confidence that sugaring is more painful, more expensive and results are significantly worse. I left with results that I can not wear a bathing suit with. Now am considering whether I can even get a wax to finish what sugaring started. Not worth it. read more

Came in for my first waxing/Brazilian and was a decent experience to start with. When I got home and showered I noticed that almost nothing was removed from my backside except for a small strip. Additionally my legs were waxed unevenly on the front side. I feel it being my first time was taken advantage of to do a rushed and subpar job. Definitely avoid read more

First time coming here and I will definitely come back! I had Tiffany and she was amazing She was super friendly and we had a great conversation. It was less painful than hard wax, so I'd recommend! read more

Customer service at the front desk wasn't that much warming/welcoming this second time I came. But the Brazilian wax was amazing. The wax was warm and the waxer was as gentle as possible and I felt very comfortable. She always explained what she was doing and why, and I didn't even have to ask. She also took her time with me. I didn't want a tweeze after the wax and she still left me bald even with just the wax. I followed the aftercare manual correctly. I had no complications when I came home or days after.I also love the pink girly aesthetic. I will be coming back in the future. read more

First time going here and I got the worst breakout ever. I've gotten sugared +10 times and will get a few breakouts immediately after, but it's been +2 weeks and the bumps are not going away. In my experience the sugar has always been warm/hot, and this was cold. I asked the woman and she said this is just how they do it. read more

I would highly recommend Rachel B. I had my first sugaring appointment with her and she made me feel very comfortable off the bat. She is also personable and talking helped distract me throughout the appointment! The results were great and I will be back. read more

I would give this a one but the girl who tried to help fix my brows really was amazing. So I went to get my laminated brows .... a huge mistake don't even waste your money. Half way through it the girl tells me that she just started doing this ... I tried not to judge because everyone has to start somewhere... but then when she said she was done there was still eyebrow tint on my skin! And was completely uneven. They didn't even stick up the way laminated brows are suppose too. Luckily Rachel who is great really calmed me down. The next day I woke up with my eyebrows peeling !! Peeling !!! And very itchy. I was told I was going to get a call back yesterday and no call ! Stay away from this place if you want laminated brows. read more

I had an appointment with Rachel and let me tell you something! She is absolutely amazing. I have been getting waxed for years multiple different locations and I have never had an esthetician make me feel as comfortable as she did. She is the sweetest, she's very informative, AND she cared for my hooha as if it was her own! I have found my sugaring home thanks to her!! Highly recommend! She needs a raise! read more
