I'm unhappy with this place. 1. I asked my nail tech to spray my toes because I was walking home she insisted I sat long enough and just placed baggies over my toes. When I got home two toes were smudged and I ended up back there the next day to get them fixed. 2. I asked for color 011 on my toes and nails, my toes I did a regular manicure and my hand no chip. They are not professional and they charge my card for no show fee again even I don't come here no more. She thinks she can charge my credit card whenever she is pleased without my consent. I am so happy Chloe opened her new salon in the west loop on peoria. they are fantastic! it's a clean sleek decor with ample space between customers. on arrival Chloe asked me if I would like something to drink and to my happy surprise cappuccino was available! very nice perk. Lynn was my nail technician and she was amazing! beautiful mani/pedi! what makes me want to share a glowing review is their kindness and calm energy. I had selected the OPI color I wanted to use but as I sat down it flew out of my hand and crashed onto the floor, the bottle smashed and nail polish flew everywhere. it was highly embarrassing and I felt so very bad. but Chloe and Lynn were so calm and so zen about the incident and had someone come quickly to clean the mess I created. interestingly due to the spacious set up in the spa, no other customers even turned their heads or noticed the chaos I created! Chloe did not want compensation for the polish bottle I exploded or for the gal who cleaned up that mess, but I did tip that worker and I covered the cost of the lost bottle. I also gave a significant tip to lynn who was calm and very competent. (things you do when people deserve it but they try to dismiss how something affected their moment. - it was the least I could do.). When I called the spa, I was informed that I couldn't reschedule or adjust the appointment and would be charged the full amount for not showing up. I reviewed the policy, and while I find it rigid and not very accommodating, I understand that a policy is a policy. As a law student working a full-time corporate job, I'm often exhausted, and sometimes time gets away from me. I use spa days as a way to relax and recharge. I had a very disappointing experience at Chloe Salon and feel compelled to share it so others don't go through the same thing. First, I went in earlier that day to ask about the cost of the service I wanted. Maria, the store manager, gave me a price. However, when it came time to pay, the price was much higher. When I questioned the difference, Maria insisted I had requested extra services--which I absolutely did not. To make matters worse, I never received a hot stone massage that the salon claims is included with any service. When I asked her to show me the actual prices, she refused and told me to go online. I did, and that's when I saw for myself that I had been overcharged. Instead of taking accountability, Maria continued to insist that I had asked for those services. As for the actual nail manicure job, it was poorly done. When I told Maria I wasn't satisfied, she offered me a "discount"--but it was based on the inflated, overcharged amount, not the original price she had quoted me earlier. In other words, even after the "discount," I still paid more than what I should have. Even though Maria admitted that perhaps there was some miscommunication, she still refused to issue a refund or make things right. The entire experience left me feeling cheated and dismissed. I do not recommend Chloe Salon. Between the overcharging, the poor customer service, and the unprofessional handling of complaints, I will not be returning. read more

I told the nail tech the music was too loud and she agreedand told the manager. Nothing changed. The type of music is fine (smooth jazz), it's just too loud. This isn't a nightclub. So I really love this place, but even being a "luxury" spa they are very overpriced. I was charged an additional $25 for chrome on top of my nails. Mind you, chrome to purchase is like $8 for multiple in a pack. And they weren't using a fancy brand or anything and the chrome chipped within a day or two of getting it done. So my total for Gel X with chrome was $145. Which is INSANE. Even super fancy spa places don't charge that. I also received a massage and the price for the massage was $145 for 60 min deep tissue. Which is in line with other nice spas. But the massage room is basically a closet next to the nail chairs and there wasn't any calming music and it was bright. The massage itself was okay. I've received better for less money. The $145 is in line with what I've paid at nice hotel spas where you get a robe and a locker room etc. so I think just overall this place is very overpriced I do love their work but they need to adjust their prices. Eventually people will get sick of the overcharging. read more

Let me start off by saying that i have been to this salon 3 other times before and would rate each time 5 stars! Super clean and comfortable and the service is fantastic for the money you are paying for! Now for yesterday's experience. I've been receiving and getting pedicures every two weeks for 20 years you know the drill you know what needs to happen and not happen. I got a girl name Olga who right off the bat i could tell was new and very inexperienced. Wrong tools being used kept looking over at her coworker to see what she was doing terrible massage but im trying to give benefit of the doubt and be patient became yes everyone has to start somewhere BUT when you are paying 95 dollars for a service maybe as a business owner they should train more give that person more reps practice and expertise in a salon that is very high end instead of putting people to work in a service were people are paying lots of money. I did explain all of this before i left and they did discount me 15% off my bill but still ended up paying 77 dollars. Which still isn't sitting right with me. I am still wanting to give to another try next time. read more

I visited the Chloe Chen Spa for the first time this week and was super impressed with everything. Upon entry, I was warmly greeted by Natalie, who checked me in and took me to the pedicure area. She offered me refreshments and gave me the color books to review. There are a wide variety of colors to choose from and they have a ton of sparkly colors, which I love. They offer so many great colors I had a hard time choosing one. My nail tech Nora also warmly greeted me and was so sweet during the entire process. I especially liked that she gave both my pedicure and manicure, so there was no switching off to another tech between the two. I also liked that they offered nail colors that were exact matches between the pedicure color and the no chip manicure. So many places try to match colors between the two and they are usually off. The environment was so calm and relaxing and all of the team members are very professional. I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a relaxing, calm spa experience that feels very high-end (because it is)! read more

Nails look amazing, loved the people super sweet and kind but it took 2 hours and 5 minutes for a normal dip no tips I walked in at 11:15 and left at 2:20. also very very very expensive, dip with no tip my total was $97 after tip and that was with a 10% off coupon!! I had an amazing experience at Chloe Che Spa for my pedicure. The spa is beautiful, clean, and incredibly relaxing, and my pedicure was wonderfully soothing. However, I did have one concern: I had booked a 10-minute neck massage as an add-on to my pedicure. It was my first visit to this nail salon, and I wasn't aware that a complimentary neck massage is included with the pedicure. If I had known, I would have canceled the extra massage. Instead, after my service, I received a 5-minute neck massage and a 30-second massage on each arm--this was an additional $35 charge. When I mentioned this at checkout, the person assisting me explained that the massage I added was supposed to be more detailed and longer, but it seemed similar in length to the complimentary massage others received. While I'll definitely return, I won't be adding a neck massage next time since it's included with the pedicure, and the extra charge doesn't seem worth it. read more
