The staff are all super nice and did a wonderful job (no cuts or bleeding ahah which happens sometimes during pedis but no they were perfect here!) I also liked their temporary shoes more than the rubber ones at other places and love that they give you a baggie with oil in it to put over your feet before putting shoes on to make sure that the polish doesn't get rubbed. I would wear flip flops normally but not during winter in Chicago of course, so I love that they pay extra attention and make sure your pedicure lasts :)

I left a review warning the clients about the staff, the shop is under new management…read more I've went here maybe twice and at first I didn't recognize the staff but apparently they recognized me. The staff worked at a similar shop in Humboldt Park and I was a client for 7 years. One day I had an appointment and unfortunately the double and triple booked me. After taking off my polish and having me sit in the bowl for an hour - I had to leave. When I left the male tech chased after me and tried to force me to pay for a full pedicure but they hadn't done anything but sit me in water. When I refused, he spit at me and I never went back. Fast forward now, I moved and this is the closest shop. I didnt recognize them at first so I went twice. The third time I came in and they were busy I said okay but they were very rude and when he took off his mask I recognized him. I proceeded to write a review warning people about this incident. I wrote a review. I felt bad so I came back to do a small service, the same guy who spit at me confronted me in front of all of the clients. They wanted me to take the review down or they would be refusing service. Please do not go here. The work is decent, the prices are cheap and Katie is the nicest one. However, the male tech is a pig. Also, you can't refuse service because I wrote an honest review. I understand that shop is new but the same guy works there

The ladies are all fantastic, but please avoid him! My nails were uneven, paint on my toe skin, and lots of callus left. When I asked him to fix these issues he barely did, and then even wiped the sharp tool with crud on it off on the top of my foot causing a mark & pain. Seriously the worst pedicure ever. But the woman Lee is amazing & so are her female co workers. So hence give the male nail tech a zero, but the establishment as a whole a solid 4 out of 5 stars. As soon as I walked in, the lady at the front had an attitude. I asked if there was a wait and she responded, "No wait, do you want to get your nails done or not?" I asked for builder gel, and after trimming down my nails, the first nail tech suddenly moved me to another worker and said, "I don't do fill-ins." The guy then started applying acrylic even though I specifically asked for builder gel. When I questioned it, they kept insisting it was builder gel until he finally admitted it was acrylic. Only then did they tell me they don't offer what I wanted because the person who does builder gel is on vacation. Lady said "go back to the other salon you went to originally" The whole situation could've been communicated from the start before cutting down my nails. I stayed respectful the entire time and left with unevenly trimmed nails and very disappointed.
