Candyss does a great job of tending to my skin's specific needs. I eventually became a member and for the cost of the membership, I love the discounts on the products they carry and monthly facials I receive. Courtney is a wonderful owner and always makes me feel at home. The vibe is comfortable and the space is always beautiful, neat and clean. I recently visited Esthetic Haus to get my eyebrows threaded. The esthetician went over my eyebrows with a thread, but I could tell that there were no brow hairs being plucked from my skin. And given that the service cost nearly $50, I expected more from quality of the threading and overall experience. Unfortunately, I had to visit another salon the very next day to get my eyebrows properly threaded. The difference was instantly noticeable both in feel (the pressure and technique) and appearance (clean/no hairs around my brows!). Overall, while the ambiance and location of Esthetic Haus are great, the eyebrow threading service did not do the job, which at that price point is disappointing. I hope they can improve their technique to ensure customers receive the quality they pay for. read more

DO NOT GO HERE. Made an appointment for a Wednesday and then the Tuesday before I was charged a no show fee ($85.00). Tried calling and explaining that my appointment was for a different day, and that I had confirmed that appointment, I could send them my e-mails and texts confirming so. Must be an issue on their end. I left a voice-mail and got a call back that the company "did not understand my message." I explained it all again. I never received any notification about any other appointment, nor did I make one. They said they could "see everything" and that I had made both appointments. Now, I'm not unreasonable, in an attempt to figure out what happened I explained that it is possible (though unlikely) that I had fat fingers and accidently booked an appointment I did not intend to when browsing times. In the unlikely event I had booked an appointment for two consecutive days in a row, if I had received a confirmation of an appointment for the wrong day, I would have cancelled or called to see what was going on. But I never got any kind of notification beyond the appointment that I was already aware of. I also certainly never confirmed the incorrect appointment. My first notification that I had an appointment with them on that incorrect day was when I got charged the no show fee. Their response: well, I didn't show up and so that's the fee. They also spoke to me with anger and disrespect and I was rudely told that the point of the fee was for customers to "take responsibility for their appointments" and that we were "not getting anywhere" from further discussion. I was also told they notified me of the [incorrect] appointment. They did not, I had three emails and a few texts from them for the appointment I had actually made and subsequently confirmed, but I digress. Suffice to say - I cancelled my actual, confirmed, appointment (I would not be surprised if I see a fee for that too, despite me asking twice they confirm I won't be charged a fee for cancelling my actual appointment on account of the customer service I had just received). I am disputing the no show charge on my credit card for services not rendered and unauthorized charges. All in all, this reeks of fraudulent and deceptive business practices. Stating simply to "read the fine print" does not settle the matter for an appointment I didn't make. Further, I worry that they now have my credit card info and clearly I can't (and nor should anyone) trust them to make things right in the event of another unauthorized fee resulting from an issue with their booking system. A few other one star reviews exist for the unfair fees and refund policies (no refund for a woman with a skin issue and was refused her preferred service during her appointment? Or a woman who had to help her dad with his oxygen machine in the middle of a respiratory pandemic?!) - check those out before booking an appointment, some of those stories are awful but not surprising. Super disappointing. I would have liked to support this business. Hard to do that when customers are treated like cash dispensaries instead of people. TL;DR: buyer beware- you may get charged a fraudulent fee and they will do nothing to make it right. In fact, they'll be rude about it read more

I created my appointment online and received no confirmation or notification of the time or location. When I arrived, I was not greeted or spoken to before a thermometer was pointed at my forehead. A music speaker directly above me was blasting loud 80s music directly into my chair the whole time I was trying to relax into this uncomfortable process. By the time I looked in my rear view mirror on my way home my "lifted" lashes were no longer lifted and instead laying SIDEWAYS, CLUMPED and helter-skelter! Kandyss made my natural lashes look like badly-applied FAKE lashes. I called Kandyss as soon as I got home but she did not offer to correct my lashes anytime in the next 24 hours nor did she offer any kind of refund.
