I've been to Puttshack's Downtown Atlanta location before, so I know this concept can be a lot of…read morefun when it's managed properly. Unfortunately, this location was the exact opposite experience. The place was extremely overcrowded, and the pace of play was terrible. Nearly every hole had a backup, and by the end of the round it felt like we were watching putt-putt rather than playing it. What really stands out is that this doesn't seem like a one-time issue. After reading other reviews, I found plenty of people describing the same problems: overcrowding, constant bottlenecks, and long waits between shots. When the same complaint keeps appearing, it's no longer an issue of bad luck, it's clearly a management problem. What's most frustrating is that I've seen Puttshack get this right. The Downtown Atlanta location was busy too, but groups kept moving and the course flowed smoothly. Here, it felt like management kept packing more people into the venue without any concern for the actual guest experience, I mean the whole course moved like rush-hour traffic. Another important note would be the attentiveness of the staff. Even on a Saturday, at 3pm mind you, the lower bar was empty when we walked in, and the staff of three at the upper bar seemed to have issues managing a line consisting of two. I nearly waited 5 minutes for even an acknowledgement, which is not the kind of experience you'd expect BEFORE the evening rush. The technology and courses themselves are great, but that's hard to appreciate when you're spending most of your time waiting for the group ahead of you. For the price, I expected a lot better. Until they address the overcrowding, I'd recommend looking elsewhere. Life is too short to spend it waiting in line between putts.

A gem of a mini golf course. Our favorite in all of DFW (and we've been to a dozen). The best…read morecourses are not only fun visually, but the scenery is incorporated into the green: hit your ball INTO the lighthouse, OVER the hump, UNDER the shack, THROUGH the trapdoor, etc. It is also the most reasonably priced. I almost don't want to write a review, because it's rarely overly busy when we come, and we want to keep the secret, haha. The owners and employees are awesome people. They obviously take pride in their creation and sharing it with people. We have been coming for five years, and they are great at upkeep. On our first visit of this year, we noticed everything had a fresh coat of paint, new tee mats, and some new landscaping elements in preparation for the busy, warm months. The landscaping is professional and attractive. We also love that the course is adjoined on two sides by wild green space, so we often spot some cardinals and other birds while golfing. There is not a lot of shade. They are smart about mounting misters and umbrellas during the summer to help cool you off, but I wouldn't advise coming in the middle of a hot, still day if you are heat sensitive. Hours vary by season, and they tend to have extended hours anytime school's out (including Christmastime), so check the website or give them a call anytime you get the itch for a round of putt putt. We also like that you can play a second round for half price.

For Mother's Day, my son took me to Topgolf. I'd never played before--or even watched--because…read moresomehow I convinced myself I wouldn't like it. Boy, was I wrong. Each bay came set up with clubs, menus, and seating, and a server walked us through both the food ordering and how the games worked. Once we started playing, I didn't want to stop. We played nonstop for 2.5 hours. We ordered a big platter of food that lasted the whole session. It's entertainment venue food, but honestly good for what it is. The service really stood out though. Even though we had an assigned server, multiple staff members checked on us throughout the night. When it started pouring rain, someone immediately came by and moved us to a bay with a tarp. Super attentive and very appreciated. Such a fun time. I'm already planning to get the summer fun pass so I can work on my swing.

I took my wife here for our anniversary. We've been to several Topgolf locations together, and…read moresince this one is right next to their headquarters, we figured it would be one of the nicer ones. Unfortunately, we left a little disappointed. I will say the manager was incredibly nice, and the balls tracked really well. Outside of that, though, the facility just felt older and more worn than other Topgolf locations we've visited. Service was also pretty slow, especially getting drinks. The food was just okay. We ordered the Mediterranean trio, and both the hummus and tzatziki were surprisingly runny. This location felt more like a golfer's Topgolf than the fun date-night atmosphere we've experienced at other locations. There's nothing necessarily terrible about it, but for an anniversary night and compared with our experiences at other Topgolfs, we just weren't that impressed.

This place kept them busy for a couple of hours. It also allowed me to take a break from their high energy antics while having a little fun myself. We enjoyed our "3 pack" tickets of the laser maze, mini golf, and mini bowling. The twins got to work off some energy as I relaxed in AC. That's a win-win for me. We didn't play the arcade games --- it's an add on to your play card. This isn't a large indoor space, but it did keep 9 year old twins busy for a few hours. Staff is very nice and helpful here. We were pleasantly greeted and the entire setup was explained. I also liked the decor. There were two adult groups there at the same time as us. The adults were mainly focusing on the arcade games. I also noticed that this place sells candy and and non-alcoholic beverages. This game center is located in a strip mall, so there is plenty of free parking. Their prices are inline with other similar spots.

The artwork and animatronics are spot-on, really creative and entertaining. They are proud of their designs, and each location is a little bit different. It's an indoor course you play under UV lights for the "glow in the dark" effect. We find it one of the more affordable mini golf courses ($13/adult, $11/child/senior). It must also be very well-maintained, because we've been coming in for 5+ years now and I have never once thought, "Oh, this part here is getting worn down" or is dirty or needs to be replaced. The staff is friendly and genuinely want you to have a good time. We occasionally avail ourselves of the mini bowling and arcade (there are price packages if you want to play multiple things), but the mini golf is our jam. Anyone sensitive to strobe-light effects will have to stay away, though.

I almost instantly regretted it as soon as we figured out there was not a single place to sit for parents. They have a decent size party room, but unless you rent it, they don't allow anyone in. The whole time our kids were playing we stood while staff mopped the room in the middle of the day. The room was empty from the time we arrived at open so it blows my mind they would not put one of their 5 tables with benches down for customers. When I asked about seating they recommended we sit outside on the benches by the mini golfing in triple digits, leaving a blind straight path between my kids and the exit. Not an option.
