The waiver is good for one year! We came on Friday night and a great way to start the weekend! The owner is a great guy. He's very patient and provides great tips in how to position yourself to throw the axe. It's a lot harder than you think! He shares with us a game. Honestly, I wasn't interested in the game and wanted to throw axes, but my husband kept track for both of us. A timer was given so you'll know when your time is up. we reserved a time slot during happy hour axe throwing on sunday for a better deal. we were the only ones there so it was really nice; the staff helped teach us how to throw the axe effectively and told us tips every now and then. Our small company hosted our annual holiday event at this location. Most of us had never done axe throwing but we all agreed it was one of our best events. The owners were helpful and fun and everyone had plenty of opportunities to practice and compete. We had it catered by a nearby Mexican restaurant and had plenty of room to set up our gift exchange table, a beer and wine table plus a buffet style dinner. Plenty of seating for our group of 20. 1st time out in a really long time with a few friends and this place provided some much needed fun, with smiles and laughs, stress relief and a little competition. I've never thrown axes before and was a little nervous about it. The owner was very friendly understanding and helpful. He took time to explain the safety precautions and throwing techniques. We each had some practice throws before our hour officially started. They also explained a few games for us to play. For our first time axe throwing, 60 minutes was enough but they also offer 90 minutes. You can reserve a time by calling ahead. They are practicing social distancing and request that masks be worn when in the common areas. Byob (no hard liquor) you can also bring food. A handful of dining options on the square to choose from. The night we were there they had cookies available to snack on. Located in downtown Carrollton with a small parking lot on the north side. If you park anywhere on the square it's just a short walk over. This was a really great outing with friends. I could see myself going for an hour just to release some aggression. read more

I've been here twice now and it has become my go-to axe-throwing recommendation! 1 hour is about $26 including tax, but if you make a reservation for a Wednesday or Thursday night you can get 10% off or 15% off on Sunday between 3-5pm. There is a waiver you can sign ahead of time (or complete there if you forget) and then once you arrive wearing closed-toed shoes, you're ready to go! The owner does a great job coaching those new to axe-throwing and helps until you get the axe somewhere on the board! We had lots of new people the last time we went and he explains stance, holding position, etc. Once you get the hang of it, he will also give you fun games to play that help work on your aim and make it It's BYOB and BYOF, feel free to make a run to any of the cute places around downtown Carrollton. My family and I wanted to do something "different" and recently visited this business for our first "axe throwing" experience. Every bit of our interaction with the business and especially the owner was EXCELLENT! I can't recommend this business enough!!! From the moment we walked in, we were pleasantly greeted and cared for. It was a Sunday evening and the place was about 1/3 full at the time we got there. The owner sat us down at our Throwing Lane and made each of us, especially our daughters feel extremely comfortable. He went over safety and techniques and game scoring, all while making everything fun! He was able to interact with all of our daughters and was hilarious! He even took the two 11 year olds over to their own lane and worked with them individually to help them have fun and enjoy it! The coaching was great! He even got our teenager to laugh and smile and not pay attention to her phone every 5 seconds!!! We really had an amazing time and will definitely be back and be bringing our friends! This was my surprise birthday gift and an awesome experience. There were two priorities; 1st priority is understanding the safety protocol and the 2nd was have fun. Jerry provided great instructions, maintained a fun atmosphere for us and other customers, and definitely had us laughing. He stopped us doing the game for more instructions (he huddled us back together for another rule- "the back of the axe, will not stick to the board", laughter broke out in the place).
