As a get together while staying apart, we booked a virtual holiday hunt for a group of friends. We occasionally talked on the phone or did a zoom catch up but this was something we could do for fun. I wasn't quite sure what to expect but it was tremendous fun -- I was thinking we'd be scavenging our own places and competing against each other but instead it really was like a virtual "escape room" where we all worked together to find the answers to the puzzles and beat the clock. The host customized some details on the fly which was amazing. It was super fun and a great break from the world for an hour. Oh, and we TOTALLY were the fastest players... at least that hour! We had our virtual office Christmas party last night courtesy of DFW Scavenger Hunt and it was awesome. It stretched our brains, encouraged team work and our host Brandon kept us laughing the whole time. The highlight was watching our CEO run around her home frantically looking for different household items. The whole experience really bonded us in this time when we can't be together. Brandon and his team put together a TERRIFIC online scavenger hunt for my husband's surprise virtual 65th Birthday party. He spent a lot of time in advance to really tailor the games and the commentary to highlight my husband's quirks and interests. Our team had such a fun time! We came for a Team Engagement activity with work and had such a great time finding our way through Downtown Dallas, even with a little bit of rain! The Scavenger Hunt was coordinated perfectly to allow for differences in physical capabilities of each team member. Loved this event. New to Dallas and it was a great way to learn about the city and surrounding area. Would definitely do again. DFW Scavenger Hunt was challenging but not overwhelming.
