For Mother's Day, my son took me to Topgolf. I'd never played before--or even watched--because somehow I convinced myself I wouldn't like it. Boy, was I wrong. Each bay came set up with clubs, menus, and seating, and a server walked us through both the food ordering and how the games worked. Once we started playing, I didn't want to stop. We played nonstop for 2.5 hours. We ordered a big platter of food that lasted the whole session. It's entertainment venue food, but honestly good for what it is. The service really stood out though. Even though we had an assigned server, multiple staff members checked on us throughout the night. When it started pouring rain, someone immediately came by and moved us to a bay with a tarp. Super attentive and very appreciated. Such a fun time. I'm already planning to get the summer fun pass so I can work on my swing. read more

You must be 21 after 9 PM. 1 Star. Service - You can reserve a bay online or at the counter when you enter. I was a Top Golf newbie, so I asked the staff at the front counter to help me get set up. The teens looked at each other and seemed disinterested. Sorry to make you do your job, Gen-Z. Our server for our bay, on the other hand, was great. She took our order quickly and was helpful answering general questions. 1/2 Star. Experience - I'm going to split this into the Topgolf golfing experience and my food. Golf - Ok, kudos to whoever thought of Topgolf's concept. The golfing experience is an impressive mix of golf, technology, and lots of fun. My kids had a blast choosing different games to play to compete. It's what you get when a bowling alley and golfing range had a kid who was immediately given an iPhone. Food - I went in skeptical, thinking Topgolf mainly focused on golf, but I was pleasantly surprised. My Chicken Katsu sliders were perfectly breaded with a crunch on the outside and a burst of juicy chicken on the inside. The slaw helped cool things (heat not spice), and the soft Hawaiian roll added a sweet touch. If you have a choice, choose the tots over fries. These crispy/crunchy bites came with a nice dipping sauce. The only negative was the price. You have to rent the bay, pay for membership, and your food. 1 1/2 Stars. Will I Return? - Yes. The manager of events not only resold our spot that we agreed to and required rebooking, over charged us, wouldn't let us take home the huge amount of food they oversold us, was rude to our office manager and basically was horrible. This spot is pretty chill... they have mini golf outside and you can reserve a more private spot to golf by reserving a bay. I loved upstairs where it was less crowded so I waited roughly about 1 hr or so for it. Chilled at the downstairs bar with my family. Big shout out to our cool bartenders, AD and her crew! They took care of us and made sure we had a great time while waiting to golf. It seems like they have a good time even when it gets busy. I plan on coming back. We were on the hunt for an outdoor family activity on a beautiful Thanksgiving break day - and topgolf was one that all 3 of my kiddos agreed on. Our oldest had been before, but the other 2 were topgolf newbies. We made a reservation for 115pm ahead of time and our bay was ready for us when we got there. The first thing we did was review the menu because we were starving for lunch. My kids seemed very happy with the food choices, but I wished there were a few healthier options. We opted for a pretzel charcuterie board, buffalo boneless wings and a hummus plate. And a grilled chicken sandwich for me. While we waited for lunch we kicked off our golf game. They had a fun sonic game that appealed to my 8 year old. He was probably the most into the golfing of everyone, but everyone had a good time. The reservation was for 2 hours and flew by as we golfed and ate. My golf skills were pretty pathetic at first and I found myself improving over the course of 2 hours. It's a pricey activity that ended up being around $250 for our family of 5, but I guess that included an activity plus lunch. Everyone left happy and mentioned they want to go again when we are back in Chicago. It looks like they have heaters, but I imagine it's more fun on a gorgeous day like today in Dallas. read more

Been to a few different top golf for corporate events and wanted to go on a fun date. They try to make booking easy with a slick app, but it actually makes things a lot harder I booked a bay on Saturday at 3:30PM. Looked to see if there are different times available (e.g. 3PM), but the app won't let you saying you already have time booked. Great, let me cancel my time to look, and see, worse comes to worse I can rebook it. Nope, 5 seconds later and the original time I booked can't be booked again and now the timeslots are even worse (this was at 4AM in the morning so no one else is booking). Call top golf - all reservations booked through app. We can't help you and we don't care about customer service... everything routed to a central call center. Long story short - typical corporate cost cutting measures, terrible app design, and low level of service. read more

Rip off. Topgolf has figured out yet another way to pump up their bottom line at the expense of the customer experience !! A $23 "reservation fee" to play. Get real. There was NOBODY there on a Saturday morning and the Top Golf app made it sound like you HAD to have a reservation to get a bay (at least per the app - which really helps Top Golf because it eliminates the need for customer service/interaction). It gives the appearance the you had to pay a "deposit" to HOLD your reservation - which I expected to have applied to my bill when I got there. I will note that the server was very apologetic that it is an additional FEE. That's short sited, Top Golf corporate. Quit trying to pass on your software development fees to the end user. I made a "reservation" at a restaurant last night - did they charge me a RESERVATION FEE to use Open Table? NOOOOOO I would be fine with a "no show fee" or something of that nature - BUT DON'T ADD IT ON TO A FEE I OTHERWISE WOULD NOT HAVE PAID HAD I JUST SHOWED UP. Don't feed me with any of that "it's for YOUR convenience, sir" Not when you are totally empty. You should be happy I was there. So greedy. I'm warning all of my golf buddies to this scam. Perhaps if you call in a reservation versus using the app ? (which is a convenience to Top Golf - not the customer) you can save the greedy fees. Shame shame shame. I guess I should be thankful you didn't also add a credit card fee, or a "let's pay for our server's benefits fee", or jamming an automatic 20% tip on the bill. Unbelievable. read more

Top golf is fun but super pricey. I wish it was more affordable. We did go at 11:30 instead of 12 to save $20. I also noticed they have batting cages and a cool mini golf area. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The chairs were more comfy than the couch situations I've experienced at the plano and las vegas locations. I wish they had lefty stuff more readily available but they will bring over a bag if requested. My son accidentally broke the thing off (plastic piece the ball sits on?) and they were very quick to replace it. We ordered the pretzels and a margarita flatbread pizza to snack on. The pizza was terrible. Like worse than the $5 tostino pizzas from the frozen aisle and i dont even remember how much it cost. Somewhere between 10 and 15? I also ordered a frozen spiked blackberry lemonade and it was delish. The only downside is it took an hour to get. I was told they had reloaded the machine and. It would only take 15 minutes. I have been dying to go to any Topgolf, so of course the first one I go to ends up being one that's not even in my home state! For real though, we came here as we were in charge of planning our social event for our work conference. Thankfully my team member took care of all the details. We had a great spread of food, including brisket, Nashville hot chicken, baked beans, mac and cheese, salad, and an assortment of cookies. Food was pretty good for being served up for a huge group. The golfing aspect is pretty fun. I liked how they had different games that you could play so that it wasn't a pure "who can smack the ball furthest." Accuracy matters! For someone who doesn't golf at all, I think I did pretty well. Most importantly, I had a lot of fun! I can see why there's so much appeal for Topgolf. Definitely get the hype now! read more

Topgolf says they are Pro Military in fact they say their CEO was A Special Forces Veteran. Well Artie Starr NEVER served in fact he resigned effective Oct 1st. I was told he was still the CEO by the staff at a Dallas TX Venue near their Corporate Office. In fact, I was not allowed to speak to anyone at the corporate office because I was not important. What got me to Dallas was I inquired about a membership was told it was 20% hero's discount at the end of Aug. I had to have hand surgery beginning Sept. on Oct 31st I asked about getting the contract and was told it was now 10%. When I sent the emails showing what I was sent to the sales manager In Charlotte Jason who then Ignored me. When I tried to contact him or Corp. I was denied. So, when I was in Dallas I went by the Corp office after being denied there because I was not Important. I went to the Local venue where I met Jared and Triston and was told they understood and said they knew who to call and would fix it. That's when Triston Said that the CEO was a Special Forces Veteran. Well, being a United States Marine Veteran, this was important. To find out that is a lie. I was told in an email by another Director that I was a USMC Member no I am a USMC Veteran stark difference. No one in Topgolf Executive office will respond or address this when they shift responsibility. They lie about veteran importance and even say their CEO was a Special Forces Veteran. I hope they know trying to represent someone as a veteran is Stolen Valor is a serious crime. All Military Active, Reserve and Veterans need to let Topgolf know what lying about serving means. Topgolf is a cool spot! Wouldn't be as annoyed by the high cost BUT the service, food, and drinks are subpar at best

This is exactly what I had hoped all TopGolf establishments would have -- mini golf mostly, a chipping green, putting areas, and other entertainment places like a batting cage. I played the mini golf course, all 3 of the courses (blue, green, and red) and it was so much fun! The views were amazing with the waterfalls and fountains, and courses were in great shape. Word of caution: You need to be careful in some areas or you could hurt yourself, and sometimes the ball might not come out when you put it in of the holes that is supposed to come out on the other end -- you can stick the putter in it to try to get it out. Overall, this is one the best facilities I've been to. Really pleased with how amazing this place was; I'll be back to this one for sure. read more
